Sounds like the story is gonna be about you destroying anti-skateboarding architecture around the map, making permanent map changes as you go. That would make free roaming the map really fun for a long time

It's a free to play apparently so it's going to be online only and single player if I had to guess will be pretty garbage. They have ZERO pro skaters attached like they did with the previous Skate games ..

was just thinking about skate 4 last night and wondering what the pause in everything was for......this explains everything!!!!
Hopefully since the security are locking off skate spots around the city maybe we have to complete a challange to unlock new hidden spots or maybe even empty lots to create diy to save into your game progress kinda like an evolving world

In the picture with the skate stopper knobs, one of the binders used to have "August" written on it, but then in their repost of that picture, the word August was removed. Maybe I'm speculating too hard...
August 2025 if anything. Console testing won’t take place until the fall so that rules out this year unfortunately.
