Absolutely breathtaking ! I give huge props to you and Deb for doing what y’all do. Seeing y’all live out your dreams and see the wonders of this world in ways most will never get to or want to even maybe. It’s just awesome to watch and see. My wife fortunately loves to do these same things as you know. But she also loves it through the passion that none other than Coddiwomple inspired in me. I’ve truly enjoyed every video y’all have ever put out and never did I think I’d have the pleasure of meeting y’all. I always loved the outdoors but never really got into camping/ overlanding until I ran across y’all’s videos right after she was diagnosed. Watching you two love each other and enjoy the sites and wonders inspired me to help my own wife. I love her dearly, and yeah she may think I spend to much money at times but gets over it quickly. Little does she realize that it’s all for her. I want her to experience everything and every place I can take her. Lord only knows the time I have left to see her still be able to get out. I’d spend all the money in the world just to see the smile on her face to get the views and see the things she loves in this world. Thank y’all for igniting the fire and inspiration in me to get her out and about ! Oh....and y’all gotta help me a little, I’m gonna have to change this trailboss overland name 😜😜 to something else.
Jared, you have no idea how much that it means to us to know that we have inspired you in such a way!!! To be an inspiration to others was exactly the reason why we started the channel. We can't wait for you and Sara to go on a trip with us. You all know that you are welcome anytime.

I know it’s not possible but I want her to see everything I can possibly get her to and show her. We can’t wait to get back out with all of you. Nothing about the Grand Canyon translates to film or video, you have to see it in person. As a child, I hounded my parents to take me to the Canyon. My father said that the colors in the photos was all done with filters. I finally got to go see it in person about 10 years ago with both my parents. It was spectacular! Unfortunately my parents were both in urns at the time, missing the views this time around. But at least I took them there, and left a little of both of them in the canyon to enjoy it forever. Unless that's illegal. If it is, then I wish to change my comment to...... Nice video!

You have to drive over the moon to get to the Canyon 🙂 That's fantastic you got to see the condors! We've only seen 1 before. We've been to the Canyon many times and it is always awe-inspiring and it NEVER gets old!!! BTW, it's Kai-Bab Plateau, not Kabob 🙂THANKS!!!

I’m old enough to remember watching “Mutual of Omaha” specials on PBS as a kid. Your videos remind me of them and I couldn’t be happier. We did this part of the trip in reverse to you guys. Totally agree with what you said about the landscape and how much it changes, sometimes as you turn a corner. I also told my wife I don't think I have ever driven on roads that go so long without seeing a single thing for miles. Awesome stuff on the condors they would have been cool to see. We went to the north rim of the national park but man that camp spot you guys had was amazing and wish we would have seen that. Holy cow we only saw 3 bison and they were all the way at the tree line, another great find for you guys.
Wish we could have met up while we were there. We got really lucky with the Condors and the Bison!

A month ago I camped in the space across the lane from the overlook at point Sublime. We had two trucks with roof top tents and only barely fit them both in there. The space overlooking the rim is even smaller.
That is the space they said we would fit. The other side was occupied.

Looks like an amazing trip. My wife and I along with some great friends were just exploring that same are in the beginning of June. That is a very special place, especially the Aspen trees as they blow in the wind. Have a great 4th!!

Those California Condors can have a wingspan of up to 9'. Did you stop at Vermillon Cliffs - Rock Road to watch them at one of the rescue habitats? This is my favorite area of Arizona to camp and explore.
Nice trip, looks like good times for all! We loved exploring the north rim last summer but didn’t quite make it out to Point Sublime. A ranger had told us about the “back way” to the point from the south…suffice it to say we ended up bailing after several miles of relentless, extremely rough, rocky, narrow road interspersed with deep, muddy, rutted sections. My 4Runner TRD is a capable rig but we just weren’t experienced enough. Next time we’ll try the route you took! Thanks for sharing your travels!

I’ve been working on a bucket list trip into some of this same area. Rather than point sublime, I am looking at the rainbow rim which is a little farther west and north of where you were at, as the forest boundary is much closer to the canyon rim. By chance did the park service staff discuss that option with you guys?
