15:04 that's what I like about ds2 a lot, if you beat a boss and want to fight it some more - you can do it right away, or whenever you want instead of needing to start a whole new NG cycle
Ah c'mon, doing a speed enemies challenge run and using a one-shot spell is so boring, I was so hyped to see Gwyn racking and slashing your ass :( great video anyway.
I actually kinda felt this way too. I gravitated to spells and red tearstone strats because at a certain point enemies were just chain comboing me to death off one hit so it didn't matter how much health I had left. Maybe if I do something similar I'll add a melee only restriction too
nothing quite hits the spot like a double helping of door 😌😌 also that "accidentally gave enemies a 50% damage buff" was me my first time modding fallout 4. i uh, was following some instructions on editing the text doc of the game for some various tweaks to get an additional enemies mod to work, mistook a couple different lines as something i was supposed to change. turned out i gave the enemies a 1.7x damage buff and some crazy 12x health buff or something. went to go get codsworth & dog meat as companions. got my shit pushed in by a family of bloat flies for 45 minutes and eventually said "fuck it i quit" uninstalled. reinstalled later after calming down, fought some dreaded bloat flies and went ".........i didn't download anything that would change bloat flies, did i like. tweak the file in some wrong lines?...."

18:05 you should've used the tin banishment catalyst too, the catalyst's have separate firing speeds, the tin banishment catalyst would let you fire faster as it is the fastest catalyst in the game.
I don't see anything about it being faster, but it does scale with dex and with the investment I already had apparently specifically dark spells would have done more damage. Good to know.
