This video made me so jealous and nostalgic as well. My collection would have looked similar if I didn’t sell everything. Very nice collection and great job holding on to everything!
Hey Ventrick, great toolbox you have there. I think we were both on the charity stream this week good to see you. Subscribed. I love the old school format. I actually spent the whole night last night playing old school 93/94 MTG. It’s such a fun format. Cheers bud, to the best cards ever printed 🍻
It's crazy how balanced old school is (I mostly play X-points rules that restrict powerful cards with a point system) especially considering it was the first few sets and had some broken cards that were probably mistakes but the gameplay feels more interactive and fun than modern magic especially when power is taken out of the equation with X points rules
I will definitely look into the X points formats as well. That's even more like the good old days. In the town I started playing Magic in very few people had Power 9, so a lot of the games would be closer to a points format.
@@VentrickMTG yeah it's honestly the best way to play. Very balanced, much more budget friendly and way more creative choices as you don't need to/cant run the same 30 broken cards as everyone else. I have a bunch of videos about it on my channel if you are interested
@@IPlayMagic So I was just on Facebook in the NA Old School School group, saw a post on the most underplayed cards in X Point, clicked on the video and realized it was you. :)
Great video. But one small correction. Mana base in old school was never a problem especially with all the original dual lands. The problem was the lack of multi color cards and synergy among different colors. But hey, Legends came to the rescue!
Hey, just wanted to mention that a Shivan Dragon with a Spirit Link on it can still kill you since you die from the damage before Spirit Link's life gain ability takes effect. Death is instant.
Thanks for the shout out and great cards! You have quite the head start on the big stuff for building decks for certain!
Thanks for watching Edwin.
Come Play on my Feed,

Glad you enjoyed it!
Winter orb, howling mine and relic barrier really helps making friends😁
Sometimes you need to be the bad guy :)
Very interesting, I'm getting into Old School 93/94 and this helped me a lot to recognize the format staples, already have many in my old cards box :)
Fun to see all those amazing cards again from my childhood
Thanks, sometimes I just got lost in the memories when I look at them.
I never had the big power cards, but I definitely had things like Serra angel and Sengir Vampire. Those always bring back memories
Ahhhh so awesome
Thanks Mox Man

Definitely seen you on a number of streams. Amazing getting to play old school. I’m trying to get Mox Man to build a deck to play with me.
Falling star is worth considering
Definitely a card I want, have a few others ahead of it in the list though.

@@VentrickMTG It's fate. Join the next monthly webcam event. They are super convenient and fun.

Unstable mutations for the flying man
Thanks, have some Arabian Nights Unstables, ran out of room in the binder.

Sure, according to modern rules, but I think the damage goes into stack in old school if I remember correctly.
@@GreySectoid Old School is played with modern rules. Only some smaller formats play pre-stack rules.
So much pretty cardboard :)
Thanks
yummy cards
Thank you 😊
I Think you Might have UNdervalued MOx Pearl IMO...
My Vintage Deck was Sultai Midrange, so Emerald, Jet and Sapphire took precedence.
U can't mention crusade??? WtAF
It was more of a joke on my part saying that. You can’t even buy Crusade on Card Kingdom or get it graded by PSA or BGS.
