Robert, this was the most honest and helpful advice I have heard from anyone in the Tarot community since I started studying and learning tarot in 2019. Thank you 😊
The minor arcana came from Egypt. World card is Fortuna Virgo. The Empress symbolises the realm, which the emperor's shield protects. Love (not the Lovers), in the Marseilles represents a Mother giving independence to her son with his new life as a husband. His thumb is in his belt signifing that he's the man now, the young female on the right points to him & with her other hand points back to herself as if to say "he's mine now", whilst the female on the left is gently pushing him away, cupids arrow is between the couple on the right. The dog with tail down (domesticated) & wolf with tail up (dominant) shows whether "primitive" or "civilised" both are influenced by the Moon. Although the definition you gave from Ronald Decker is also good.
Great video as always Robert. Fantastic insight into the Moon card. I’ve always had trouble with it but after that explanation, the meaning is locked in for me. As for the Knight of Cups & Death cards, I was astonished to discover that sex & death were ruled by the same house when I was first learning astrology. Then I found out about ‘La petite mort’ and it made sense😃 Great advice about card meanings as well. My head did explode from trying to make sense of meanings from multiples books. I put them away and have been working with meanings from your Keyword videos and I find them tremendously helpful. Waiting eagerly for the third video in that series😀Thanks & best wishes, Ash.
Mothers and vultures? They'll eat you dead or alive! 😁 Don't mind my brute humour! I happen to be a mother myself. What a fun, lively and energising video, Robert! And what a stunning shirt! Bravo, you did it again, Monsieur Farrah! PS: A question. Could I kindly use your monthly spread in one of my Tarot videos, provided I cite you and your channel?
1st myth : no , it was Court De Gebelin who assumed that because he was in love with Egypt and ancient cultures. 🤷♀️ I love how knowledgeable and charismatic you are ! The more esoteric books I read the more I turn to Marseille style decks!!❤️🇨🇱 RWS clones are so "dull" once you buy dozens of them...
I made a rule for myself: don't buy more tarot decks than tarot books. I don't always stick to it, but in principle it helps one to stay focused on the process rather than the product! x
@@teatarot4557 You are right Robert. It seems I am buying too many decks lately and just a few books !!! My last one was by Marianne Costa "Tarot step by step" have you read or reviewed that book? , your recomendations are always appreciated 💯
@@teatarot4557 Hi, I am half-way through the book , the historical part is very detailed with lots of research , in fact I bought it because she is regarded as one expert in Marseille School of Tarot however some meanings she gives to the cards are too "elaborated" , wish I could explain in spanish 😅 I think it should go to your "maybe " list 📚

That was very helpful. And very factual. With a sprinkle of humor.
Thank you 🙂

You rule. In French, between dog and wolf means dusk.
Interesting! Thanks🙂
