Agreed. Her toner is formulated with Witch Hazel and denatured alcohol - anyone who is well educated in skincare knows that these two ingredients are irritating and sensitising to the skin and can cause inflammation. Big no, no.

Scrubing your face is necessary occasionally to remove dead skin cells and if you have sensitive skin then there are always other options to go with but maybe use it less. I don't see anything wrong with that. And an eye cream is not that important for a young soul with no eye bags and dark circles.

My grandmother used Vaseline her whole life. Her skin was flawless at 98.
Vaseline wont do anything to ur face…it keeps a bit hydrated and thats it, if you’re acne prone its not a good option for sure

I just read an article that she even used a smoothing filter during this interview to hide subtle smile lines. I seen the unedited snap shot side by side with the filtered version of this and it barely made a difference but of course she just can’t accept or let the world know she ages and keeps setting beauty standards abundantly high.

you guys keep saying celebrities set beauty standards too high but even after seeing the unfiltered version, knowing what surgeries they’ve had and seeing unedited photos - people are STILL going to compare themselves and be insecure. you cannot blame the outside world for the way you feel about yourself forever. you guys need to learn to love yourselves.

Scrub and eye cream? As a guy who knows nothing about skin care. I can assure you the basics should actually be cleanser, moisturizer and sun screen.

The same literally happens to me. I thought it was just the type of make up that I use but it doesn’t matter which brand. It literally stays on. I can splash my face with water and it’s still on. I have to scrub about 3 times with a full on routine before it comes off. I was so shocked when she mentioned it. I thought I was being paranoid. I actually thought it happens for everyone so I wouldn’t have mentioned it tbh 😂🙈 but coming to think of it, When guys use to say things like they hate when the girls make up is on the bed and messes up the white sheets in a hotel room or something. I now understand what they meant. I was soo confused.l because It never once happened to me. No matter how drunk I was lol

Oh how you can tell her Doctors are her best product when it comes to skincare. Face wipes are no no, WTH uses a scrub on their face. BTW Vaseline is an occlusive and does wonders for your skin when slugging. Sleeping in makeup? Just dont do it. Allure this should be a what not to do with your skincare video!

@@deerheart87 it’s not awful it’s just not the best option. Just don’t overdo it because you can scrub off healthy skin, which is harder to do with chemical exfoliants.

“Slugging” using Vaseline is amazing for healing wounds and on non acne prone dry skin.
I was just about to comment this! I adore slugging and it keeps my skin looking very plump and youthful. I believe some people feel apprehensive about the mineral oil/petrolatum aspect of Vaseline. In that case, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND a product called "Egyptian Magic." Very similar to Vaseline except it is all natural. That one is a celeb favorite, as well. Lately, I've liked to slug with a very classic cream called "Satura." That one has been around for decades and was a favorite of Jacqueline Kennedy and many old Hollywood stars. 🖤

I know Kim K is extraordinarily wealthy. But I can't really wrap my head around how out of touch she is... NEUTROGENA WIPES and BODY LOTION by CETAPHIL are her 2 holy grail drugstore products??? Oh this woman has no idea what drugstore products there really are!!! When was she last at the drug store to not know the amazing products there are?
Also, VASELINE on the face is recommended by dermatologists for some people. It is very rare for anyone to be allergic to it and it is great as a barrier to lock in your moisturizer or serum in the slugging (I hate that word!! Hahaha) process
She's always on the go , alot of celebrities like those Neutrogena wipes and use them often so I think those do come in handy to them and they dc to switch it really

Neutrogena face wipes, any face wipes, are the worst for your face. They don’t clean your face, your just pushing it around. Vaseline is actually okay for your skin, put a good serum or moisturizer on your face and a thin layer of Vaseline and your golden.
Gosh! Ofcourse they don't clean , they just help! But then you use cleanser, 2 cleaners preferably 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦
Actually vaseline is used to seal in moisture into your skin... this is best done in the evening after applying your night cream... thank me later!!

1ST: vaseline is good for your skin. Believe it or not. But only at night time. Put a thin layer on and when you wake up in the morning you'll look beautiful. BUTTT Ceraves version of Vaseline is ever better because it has ceramides. Which is what babies have more of in their skin.
2ND. Please do NOT use a scrub on your skin. Use a chemical exfoliant not a manual. It's too abrasive.
3RD. NO you don't need a special eye cream. Unless you get milia around your eyes. Then yes get a thinner one. But most people are okay.
4TH. My best tip would be. Invest in a derma stamp (not roller, it tears the skin) and a facial steamer (not sauna) Stamping will prevent or weaken wrinkles by inducing collagen and the facial steamer will increase hydration which is what we lose with age
5TH. Ignore Kim. She's manipulating an audience. She dosent know tomatoes about skincare. Any real skin enthusiast would know. That's why she's getting all these treatments and filters. I know women 10 years older than her that look 10 years younger than her.
