    Beautiful! I, too, am a creek walking fan! I need to visit your area! Our creeks tend to be very rocky, a lot with boulders...lol. I still go and it's beautiful, but where you are is so serene and gentle. 🤘

    You guys are awesome! I love your videos. As a girl from Arkansas myself, I love to see all this content that reminds me of home. Love to hear that Arkansas accent too! I would love you guys to do a kayak trip to the Buffalo River sometime if you can. Thanks for all the great footage and interaction with nature and clean ups. It's inspiring.

    Hello from SC. I started watching your channel because I am eager to give kayaking a try. Your channel is SO much more!
    I have been watching two or three episodes each day for over a week now. Your passion for being outdoors is completely contagious.
    As a child, i went camping frequently. It has been a long, long time since I got back to nature.
    As a result of your videos i have already been tent camping (yes, bought the equipment). My fiance and i are going kayaking next weekend!
    I am a total fan and am excited about camping, kayaking, and a combo of both. My fiance is totally onboard. She is a history and nature nerd like me.
    Thank you SO much Kellie and Cody!!! Maybe one day our paddles will cross in a beautiful southern river!
    Greg

    I just found your channel and watched this video first. I lived in the Hot Springs area for ten years, I never quit finding new wonders in the Ouachita's. I floated from Caddo Gap to Gleenwood several times in that ten years. As you are finding, the amazing parts of Arkansas are not in a tour guide or on some blog. Now I can't wait to see if you make it to the Fourche La Fave watershed lakes North of Hot Springs Village on AR Hwy 7, there are a ton of places I explored up that way.

    Every single time we float the Caddo, we tip and I get hurt... 😕 We go every Father's Day weekend. I try to be a good sport about it for my family and friends that love to go. We camp at the bridge in Glenwood and the shuttle takes us up about 6 miles to the river access. It seems like somewhere about 1/2 way you have to paddle to the right and there is a BIG "A" shaped rock that sticks out of the water. Either side is very narrow, the left side is shallow, but tricky and the right side is deeper but turns pretty sharp. Every year without fail, we get sideways on that rock. 🤦🏼‍♀️ And I would like to add that I totally felt Kelly's pain during the storm... I HATE camping in stormy weather! It gives me off-the-charts anxiety! This weekend we are headed up to the Flatside Wilderness in the Ouachitas near Lake Winona and camping along the Alum Fork of the Saline River. I really enjoy all of your videos! 😊

    Awesome little find! I love to find little nooks in the state of Arkansas and what you found is just what I like. I do like the PVC water tube idea on the top of your Hummer. Thats a great idea for primitive. I have the same stove that you guys have. What cast iron plate is on the top? As my comment on your other video entailed, I just camped out with several buddies at Caddo on Lucky's property. It was tucked in the woods right north of Glenwood! I could hear the river from my tent. So relaxing.

    • @CodyandKellie
      @CodyandKellie  4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Cody, I am super interested in locating local camp areas similar to those you locate. Can you give some research advice? Are they all in National Forest areas? Would you consider making a tutorial video about locating camp sites/areas? Also, are you and Kellie members of an organization that does area clean-ups? I want to see about helping here in SC.

    • @CodyandKellie
      @CodyandKellie  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sure thing! We use google earth and maps to find an area of interest. Then we will US Forestry Service map to determine if that property is privately or publicly owned. Here is the link to the US Forestry Service
      www.fs.fed.us/ivm/index.html
      We will make sure to do. A tutorial in the near future. As of right now we are a little booked up. But once we have some free time we will get right on it.
      No sir we are not apart of an organization. Our company Dome Life is the host of the clean-ups we do. We use a portion of the proceeds from our clothing sales to buy supplies and food for our events. Maybe we could talk more about so thing in SC if you are interested.
