- Henry is only 2 years old and still has his puppy biting sessions when he gets excited playing in the backyard. He often bites his tongue because he gets so excited. You can see it on my hand in the video, however its superficial and heals fast. We call him, "The Land Shark!" He's normally a very subdued and quiet boy. But every so often he has a puppy n crazy, zoomie and biting session. All part of the Pug Dog growing process. He the most affectionate Pug I've ever had out of all 10 Pugs in my Pug Dad history, since 1978. Pugs are shadow dogs and unless your completely dedicate to them 24-7 Pugs should not be a choice. However, Pugs do better with more than one Pug as a companion to each other. Especially if you work and have to leave them often. Just helpful hints to a 45-year Pug Dad and Pug owner.
Henry is absolutely the most Precious Pug Puppy for reasons such as this - and many others ... sending Cuddles & Hugs & Blessings !!!

Many thanks from Dublin. I haven't been there in Ireland for years, London more often. Love the weather in the UK, it's perfect for Pugs! Gets warm in Boston in the summer. And the North Shore where we are located north of Boston Massachusetts.

That biting is love and adoration. One of my pugs, not the girls just the boy as soon as he sees me first thing in the morning is so beside himself with excitement he bites me for a good ten minutes And not with his front teeth either. The back molars!!! It is extremely painful as he munches down full on But I put up with it as long as I can bear it as I know full well it’s because he is overcome with joy and that’s how he shows it. I see Henry Hudson has the same idea 😂😂😂😂😂pugs are the most endearing funny loving dogs in this world. They are on this earth to adore and be adored. 💕💕💕💕💕💕

Not snowing yet here only northern New England.
Are your hands bleeding? Pug's nails seem a bit long.
No Henry bit his own tongue not my hands. He’s bad about his nails being clipped so it’s one at a time when he lets the vet do it. We won’t sedate him because we had one years ago that had seizures brought out due to the medication. He’s very sweet but he is petrified of being restrained. We take our time with him on everything.
