Hi mate. I recently bought a XR6 Barra one tonner turbo BF . I had to do a complete engine rebuild also. I got the engine out on Easter Sunday and got it back in last Sunday. Did it in my car port with open sides too lol.

I would have done more clear and left it a week prior to a buff But I agree with your comment in the video. Find a way Send it and it will probably be ok.
I did 3 coats nice and thick on the last and let it go 24 hours , did the fingernail check and it was good to go , used a bit extra hardener too, pissed about the water in it but oh well , thanks for your comment
My parents had one off them for over 5 years and only payed $3800 & was mint & even ford service center went over it and said haven’t seen one in this good off condition eventually they upgraded & gave it to a friend for free

Hey George, how many more coats of clear did you put on after that bitch water come out the gun. Had that water biz too. Put a water trap in the line and run the hose up in the rafters. Worked a treat
I have it two more coats stupid go pro died so I didn’t catch it and didn’t want to get the good camera coverd in overspray , 3rd coat went nice and thick knowing I was gonna sand it got a fair bit of dust in it also which was poo poo 💩
Dude the moment I seen that clear fuck up I felt so bad for ya.... But it's all DIY shit you go through at times. I just spent two weeks cycling injectors in and out of a VE Commodore only to realise they were fake chinese sh*t. First lot 3 worked out of 6. Got another lot........ 2 out of 6 worked. Fn BS. Got some genuines on order now. Some cars like the VE SS where the fuel rails on top, peice of piss but this cars a VE Omega v6 and they burried in the V.... blowing white smoke, carrying on..... so many were faulty I was thinking the engine was Fd...... but no.
Omg man that sounds so annoying, guessing the labour was annoying , and it’s the worst when you buy a new part and it’s faulty , hopefully you sort it out with the genuines , yes sucks about the water too but it worked out alright in the end ,
