Finding the perfect t shirt can be a challenge. You find one that seems perfect then it gets ruined when you wash it or the fabric starts balling up and looking bad. Or you buy a t shirt and it seems great so you buy it in other colors and the other colors don't fit the same or the fabric is completely different in the different colors.
The things that matter most to me in a t shirt are a good collar, something that isn't going to get stretched out, a fabric that isn't going to get ruined after a couple washes, a great fit, which for me is loose, not too baggy or long in the arms and not too long.
The number of clothing companies that pop up on Instagram is incredible. Everyone is selling basics, t shirts, hoodies, sweat pants, but it's so hard to tell what is good and what is cheap crap.
Amazing review. No pointless fake Hi-energy intro, no fluff. I respect the hell out of that. Straight and to the point. Subscribed! Keep up the good work!
I hate the whole “I’m sooo excited to…” intros lol
Great review! I love how you just get straight into the video from the get go. No wasting time
Awesome review. Loved that you mentioned Next Level in here. Great cheap daily T that you can replace frequently
Mate!
Love all your content been seen it all day long, please keep posting!
I just clicked on the bell ;)
Amazing reviews… thanks. You hit almost every detail I need in tees. We must be the exact same size and build. Great reviews!!
Great review ! I’m deciding between talentless and zanerobe tee shirts I’ll probably grab one of each and go from there! I usually wear medium/large in most tees would you say they run a little big? I like a relaxed fit not too tight and I’m 5’9” 180 athletic build
I have to say that it’s pretty insane that I have been wearing bylt shirts 80 percent of the time. I have T-shirt’s that I have washed easily 60+ times and I wear them to work in a shop just because they are old and I still get people telling me why am I wearing such a nice shirt. They still look and feel just like they did after 2 washes. Hard to beat.
Not sure if it was ever mentioned but Thousand makes great workout eyes and shorts. They’ve been my go to for a while. 👍🏻
I'm trying to find more black shirts that are comfortable and hold up, The best thing I've found is Greg Normand with a tiny little shark on the top left side. I'm curious how pair of thieves shirts are though.
Great video. Short and to the point
Great content. I'm 6' 3" and always looking for thin tall t-shirts. My favorite t-shirt to date was the United by Blue V-Neck 50% recycled polyester, 38% organic cotton, 12% rayon. I prefer non 100% cotton blends, quality, but less bulky material. Anyone have any quality tall t-shirt retailers?
jake thanks for the review. Whats your height and weight for reference? Thanks.
Okay I’m a pro at t shirts and these Two are the best for their respective categories. Next level are literally true classic t shirts so don’t fall for the at scam. Anyways Next level are the best for your buck for thin tighter shirts to show off your arms but not super tight like slim fit because they aren’t tight from your below the chest down. They def are good for showing off your arms and chest but hiding your stomach if your a little chubby as well if your not then your hood regardless. Beefy Hanes are the best t shirts for your buck when it comes to thicker shirts. A little baggier but They do shrink so if u like your shirts baggy go up a size. Your welcome.
What's the at scam? I'm just a guy out here that's wears a medium, don't like anything baggy or real slim tight, It feels like I've looked at to many reviews to go further what would you recommend, I do like to show off my arms some, but where I have crohns disease I do have a little stomach fat, I weigh 160 and I'm 5 '7 if that helps, any recommendations for Me?
WYR Wear are my go to brand these days. Egyptian cotton, great fit, especially around the biceps and less than $30 a shirt. It’s taken me a while, but I’ve found my perfect t shirt.
Nice, I'll have to try them out. They look kind of like Bylt. Thanks for the recommendation.
best video, so short and to the point. Subbed
Thanks for the sub brother!
Great video and I appreciate the natural speaking and presentation vs another “TH-cam voice” presenter. Subscribed.
Any recommendations on sites that have tall sizing?
Rules of threads look like have amazing material and colors.
What is your runner up tee behind the Zanerobe?
did you get the bylt blend or the lux?
I actually got directed banana republic and surprising j-crew. Solid tees! My only struggle has been finding a slim-ish fit durable white t-shirt. They either are too thick in the collar or too thin and droopy. Any recommendations?
Denver Hayes shirts are nice.
Helpful. I don’t like sausage tight tees either. You may like life is good tees. Great quality, cool graphics and a nice looser fit
For the gym, I like buying tees Myles Apparel. For casual, I’m a huge fan of Buck Mason’s Pima (a little heavier material than Slub) or Uniqlo for cheaper tees.
Elwood t shirts are nice! Not as oversized as you’d think. Looks like the last t you reviewed kinda
Honestly I have never been an Abercrombie guy but their new basics line is so good. I just got their Hem t-shirt and they are my favorite, and I ve tried almost all of these in your video, except for the last one. I will have to try them. The last one looks a lot like the Abercrombie ones.
Is Abercrombie making a comeback?? I got an Abercrombie crew neck and it was so soft. I ended up returning it because it was too small but I’ve been meaning to try their stuff again.
@@JakeFerrin I have never been an Abercrombie fan so I wouldn't call it a comeback but more of a grand opening lol. But in all seriousness their essentials line is nice for people who good quality basics
Ill check it out they got long T with pocket, damn. But at 30$ im still thinking H&M 10$ long Ts aint bad.
What about Rowan? Made in USA. Any good?
Into the AM. You will be amazed at how well they fit and hold up well. Also, only around 20 dollars.
Been rocking Hanes t-shirts for years. Honestly underrated now.
Have you tried Marcelo sort tees?
Interesting I always enjoy trying new tshirts. However, I live in FL where it is hot year round and my favorite to just wear around house working from home or out and about on a hot summer day are the Lucky Brand Venice Burnout V Neck they are the thinnest, most lightweight, softest brand. They are super casual and probably too thin for most people and not for a night out but if you are looking for something super lightweight and soft they are my pick.
Rhône Pima Cotton t-shirts and Bylt are my favorites for everyday wear.
I'll have to try the Rhone ones. I just picked up the Flint & Tinder Supima t shirts from Huckberry and it's my current favorite.
@@JakeFerrin I recently bought the Linksoul Aldo tshirt. By far the best quality T-shirt I’ve ever had.
Did you delete your update t-shirt video? Wanted to know the brands on that one
Hollister and abercrombie icon tees sized up in tall. Ariat is pretty good graphic tee too imo.
Keep up the search for great tshirts, there has to be a few ultimate bang for buck. Also, can you mention your height and weight? Great reviews!
Thanks! I've got a couple new ones since this vid. Might need to do another video. I'm 6'1 190.
Better composition than other channels with way more subs
Thanks. I'm just starting out, the subs will come.
Outerknown Soujourn basic tee has been my favorite. Pima cotton for around $50. Honestly looking for something that has nicer colorways. I think I'll buy a few more black ones. They hug your arms and loose in the chest and stomach area
I love Outerknown. My closet almost entirely Outerknown but never tried the tee!
Everlane is the best...you said it yourself, you wear it a lot.
My honey is very picky. I rarely buy him clothes because inevitably I’ll choose wrong. He really likes Mack Weldon. I’m sure there are others, but I know that’s passed his approval. 😊
Haha love this! Ok try Ugmonk let me know what you think. And I’ve been wanting to try J crew’s T this was from TH-camr Matt D’Avella
Thank you for this video very helpful 👌👌
Great vid
My go-to shirt is a local brand we have here in Columbus, OH. Promise I'm not affiliated with them at all haha The brand is called Homage. They mainly make vintage sports-related apparel but they have a "Go-Tos" line that's just plain versions of their clothing. Seriously the softest, most well-cut shirt I've worn, without being thin and see-through. They hold up really well in the wash too. Give em a shot if you're still on the hunt.
I will check them out. Thanks for the recommendation.
@@JakeFerrin How have the bylt shirts held up after several washes? Any baconing?
Always but your t-shirt a size up. Cause once it hit the dryer it shrink a lil bit,
Mack Weldon and Mott & Bow make awesome Pima cotton tees.
One size definitely doesn't fit all, especially for t-shirts. However, if I did have to choose one I would either choose the mainstay merino wool tshirt from Outlier or the 13oz tee from FreenoteCloth. Both have "good" fit without being predictably trendy in the fit and they are made well. Generally speaking, the latter is one I can see regular people and people who know a little more about t-shirts appreciating more. The quality is obvious, because it has weight, it doesn't shrink, doesn't have a tight collar, isn't "flowy" because it's too heavy and because of that causes it to stand away from your skin. I could go on, but it's definitely the safer bet and it's made in the USA.
SoS Texas Cotton seem nice!
All saints has been pretty good so far. They are not cheap tshirts but really soft and good fitting
Nice, I've never tried those. I'll look into it.
A&F Curve Hem are the best tees I've found in the last 10 years
Okay I’m trying it just bought one
@@Flightofphenomena how is it?
no affiliate links? wanna buy some tees after your review.
I’ll add some links to the description 👌🏻
Subscribed bc you get to the point.
I have found WYR to be really good, has anyone tried Vouri?
I tried the Strato t shirt from Vuori. Didn’t love it. It’s a little too short, the neck
stretched out a bit and the material kind of sticks to my body. Some of my buddies love their Tuvalu Tee, I still need to try it.
Those Vouri pants are my absolute favorite
Thinking about grabbing a pair. Would you recommend the Sunday jogger? Not sure if that’s the one you’re talking about
@@alldayfitness2115 yep those are the ones.
George from Walmart has amazing Tees
Has anyone tried Tomorrow’s Laundry T shirts?
Hey man! Can you give us your body weight and height for reference? Thanks!
6’1 190lbs!
Abercrombie premium heavyweight tees. Size down. That’s perfect.
Bylt all the way
Mack weldon has awesome clothes
Best oversized tshirt? That are uptainable world wide ;-)
And is the gymshark called VITAL LIGHT SEAMLESS LONG SLEEVE T-SHIRT
Or
ARRIVAL SEAMLESS LONG SLEEVE T-SHIRT
Try Gustin heavyweights
Not sure why you said the first two from talentless is tight. They look fine and prob can be a little more slim on you.
You should check out the BBB and Trustpilot complaints against BYLT.
What do they say?
I actually think the BUCK MASON T's looked the best honestly!
Na bylt in red by far
Hey Jake, what is your height and weight?
6'1 190lbs 👍🏻
@@JakeFerrin Thanks man, I'm having a hard time deciding on a M or L for the Zanerobe box tee. I'm 6'2 190lbs
@@mattcantinnutrition it’s tough, I like both. Large is definitely a more oversized look, but not too huge. I prefer the large.
American Giant?
Pro club heavy weights are great. Tight neck and last forever
Rule of Threads?
Never tried them. They good?
@@JakeFerrin Just got mine yesterday, they just came out with a new line with minimal logo on the shirts. I bought a curved hem for the first time but think I prefer a straight hem, other than that I think they are probably one of the better options. Better than Bylt imo, and comparable to Cuts but on a budget. Very good quality, recommend you check them out. The joggers are also a1.
One of Buck Mason's warehouses refuses to hire staff who don't speak Spanish. I can understand if the supervisor might be required to be bi-lingual, but the supervisor spoke no English at all. In America, this seems illegal, or at least, unethical. Why would an American buy a product from a company that might discriminate against them? I suspect part of the reason was that they wanted desperate employees who were willing to almost be on-call employees - called in whenever and let go early - given no set schedule - although we were all told influentially the shift was 8 to 4. But, that first day, they asked for our phone number and I knew that meant they'd be calling us at home to tell us to come in late or not come in on this or that day. I wonder if the owners or CEOs know about this.
What size did you order on talentless?
I go XL on their standard Tees and L on the oversized ones 👍🏻
So the first one in the video from talentless, I click the link and it says just men’s premium Tee. Is that standard or oversized?
@@tystie916 that’s the standard one
Yur height and weight?
6'1 190
Can you ask your wife if she has a perfect T-shirt she recommends for women? It's hard to find. Soft, breathable, etc. Don't even get me started on finding the perfect jogger. What a nightmare and still haven't struck gold. Thanks and I know it's the worng video but good luck with your 2 jobs while you can sustain it .
I’ll throw a brand your way, my favorite shirt I own is by a company called Three Nails. It’s a Christian themed company which might not be for everyone but if it’s not, I still suggest trying to find where they get their shirts from and buy them. Sort of an athletic/gym shirt but nice enough to wear out as well. I’ve had mine for a couple years and have worked out in it a ton of times and the dollar is still perfect, the material is super soft still but still no signs of wear. Fit is perfect and true to size. Highly recommend that brand for everyone, and their designs are cool if you are a Christian or at least don’t mind some minimalistic religious themes on the shirt
i bought a hanes 6 pack they say its pure cotton i dont think so feels hot all the time even when its cold out so that means they contain plastic like alot.. its not cotton i have a hard time finding cotton good cotton that feels good and not from china t shirts from 10 years ago seem to be the only ones that feel normal and cool anything now feels fake and plastic and i get hot fast in them seems cotton is going away and there making them all this plastic garbage
that zanerobe shirt looks amazing but $70 a shirt jfc. can’t justify that
ASRV
Their oversized t look pretty cool. I'll try them out.
@@JakeFerrin forgot to give you props tho - awesome video man! Thanks for the insight with these other brands!
Nah! The perfect shirt is from Rule of Threads, in my opinion.
SKINNY PETE 😂
Hahaha glad someone appreciated the reference
That's a mistakeø
Cuts looked like crap.
The buck mason t shirt looked terrible and cheap
$55 t shirt. Gtfo
Have you never owned a nice t-shirt before?
That Utah Jazz shirt looks horrible! Sleeves too long and it's way too boxy!
Jake….try Cariloha bamboo t shirts. You wont go back🫶🏼
Zivi Apparel makes the best IMO
Mack weldon has awesome clothes
