Yes, Kayla , I completely agree with your opinion, I have seen in my country, so many students asking for tips and tricks different kinds of groups. , majority of them are seeking reading tactics and shortcut method to reach the high level, and many coaching centers are taking advantage of this reading section, but as I believe reading is all about grasping the main topic, supporting idea, explanation and facts,according to the paragraph, I read a couple of articles or blogs on a daily basis, such as, the guardian, new scientist, nasa gov, who website, wired, history today.My point of view is that when reading a variety of articles and taking notes, it's really productive. In the meantime, coaching is making money; they are telling all the time reading is all about tips, which are flaws and error information.I must say, your information is crucial and precise... Test writers spend approximately one year on writing one test, so they are well aware of all your tips and tricks. 🤗🤗 They know how candidates think. Before the exam, I received devastating news, which obviously affected my ability to speak. My voice was trembling, and my hands were shaking. All I wanted was to just answer the questions and leave the room. I was mostly incoherent, and my answers were poor. I didn’t speak at my best capacity. I think an 8 was the most accurate score that reflected my speaking skills at the time. I could have gotten a better score had I not received that message. That’s why my advice to everyone is to turn off notifications on exam day. P.S. I will retake the exam in the future to get straight 9s.

Mine was from IDP, when taking IELTS for UKVI, you need to choose UKVI location. Mine was just IELTS Academic. FYI, IELTS and IELTS for UKVI are the same in terms of format, content, scoring and level of difficulty.
