- The sound kit and light kit install on this Redcat Gen8 V2 was way easier than I thought it would be and really turns this truck into a whole new beast! I love the noise and and the functioning lights, it really ads a nice scale touch and I can't wait to see it out in the woods and on the trails!

Sounds good. And lights look good. I think I would have wired the rear bumper lights in with the reverse lights. So they only come on in reverse.
"if you can hear me..." I love it! That sound kit is awesome. Nicer listening to that than the little RC motors and ESC sounds. Those brake and reverse lights are pretty slick too.

It's funny! I have the exact same setup on my Gen8 as well. Same RedCat light kit and the same ESS DUAL+ with that exact deep & wicked V8! I absolutely love my lights & sound module and I get lots of compliments on my videos and I'm sure you will also! Excellent video!!! 🙂🤜

I got my gen 8 in a trade and it had one of these installed it was cool for about 15 minutes then got annoying fast, I removed it and if I can't find a buyer for it I'm going to turn it into a Bluetooth speaker to play music in my crawler
I ordered the same light kit do you know if it's possible to replace the headlights with a more warmer color I found another kit with more of a warm color I'm not a fan of the blue

I'm not a big fan of the sound kit, it sounds to throaty to me,sounds like a mussel car, or a truck with no exhaust pipes,sounds better when someone else has it, not me, the light kit is awesome and your videos are awesome👍👍💯💯
They have different settings for diesel and other sounds. Mine has 5 different engine sound. Including import LOL.
Mine came broke .waited 3 wks they sent another one it came without a remote waited 2 more more wks remote came but steering wheel was broke its been 2 more wks still waiting so as for me ill NEVER BUY ANYTHING REDCAT EVER AGAIN !!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM REDCAT
