How did I NOT catch this baseball at Kauffman Stadium?!

- How did I not even SEE this baseball sailing right past my face? SO WEIRD!! And dumb. Leave a comment and try to guess what happened.
This was a big day for me and a bunch of friends from the website MyGameBalls.com. We meet once a year for an event called BallhawkFest. Each season it takes place at a different MLB stadium, and this time we picked Kansas City. In the late morning, we kicked things off with an informal Home Run Derby at a local baseball field, then grabbed lunch at a famous BBQ place, and headed over to Kauffman Stadium for the game against the Detroit Tigers.

You are correct. Excellent observation. Also, the ball from below was tossed by Carlos Torres, who is one of the least friendly players I've ever encountered (he barely ever acknowledged the fans when he played for the Mets, and he had ignored everyone here in Kansas City for the past two days), so when I saw him walking below me in the bullpen with a baseball in his hand, I assumed he wouldn't toss it up. Props to him for proving me wrong and hooking it up. Huge "DUH!" to me for spacing out and missing the ball, but I was glad for the woman beside me because she was so pumped up.
@@zackhample She snagged you. That ball in the back was popped right up and you watched it enter the kids glove as the ball to your left flew up.

I've lived in Kansas City my whole life. Seeing people react to Gates, Arthur Bryants, Q39, just hanging out at baseball fields I love to play at is great. Expecially when i'm watching my favorite you tuber.

I'm so happy to see these last videos, I'm from Kansas city and I moved two years ago. I was 11 back then and they allowed us to use glove tricks and all of those devices. i don't know what happened but its still my favorite field.

I was at the K last month and got a ball. A Rangers reliever tossed one up to me. Unfortunately it seems the Royals are way less chill this year with stadium rules. It used to be more laid back.
If you’re ever in Kansas City again you should try Joe’s Kansas City Bar-B-Que. you have to get in line early so you can get in quick but even if you have to wait an hour it is so worth the wait.

I think that the cup trick works better because you don’t have to hassle with setting it up and then losing the marker the cup trick is just one piece and you can’t lose parts of it. Just a suggestion⚾️
