I ran 7 of these for the last 2 months and they have been working great. They're not perfect but can't be beat for the money ($72 on amazon right now). I have all mine set to video and all have between 28-50% battery on $5 amazon AA's. The audio is not great, the trigger speed seems a little slow, and the I think the detection sensitivity is not quite sensitive enough but the video quality is great and they helped me kill my biggest buck to date...
I’m with you on that price point for sure. I think I’m going to pick up 4 and get them on my food plots this year for the first time. I’ve always ran standard cameras never a cellular one.
I just set mine out yesterday, tested it 3 times with no problems, it's never sent any pics at all since I left, now having to go bk and do a "hard shutdown" on it as I was directed to do by Moultrie, plus I'm running it off of a Herd 360 Solar Panel, but was told it still needs batteries. So first impressions isn't to gud at the moment.
I’ve ran 12 of em since this past summer. 0 issues for the most part other than 1. You may have gotten a lemon. I’ll have 24 going this upcoming summer. Love the edge.
No issues with mine I am running 3 of them no videos just high res pics 1 shot with 0 delay and from what i have come to find out you do wanna be atleast 20 ft away from target mine have done better since doing that due to trigger response
Have you had problems with the thumbnail on the app? For instance I’ll get a notification that I have 3 pics. In the first one the tumbnail will show nothing in the picture but if I request a video it’ll have a deer walking right in front of the camera. Then the second picture is the deer 3/4 of the way through the frame and last one is the deer almost out of view. I like the camera a lot but if you can only request so many videos on a plan it gets annoying not being able to really see what’s on the thumbnail photo to decide if it’s worth requesting or not. Other than that the video quality has been awesome and I haven’t had a problem with service or pictures uploading. I notified moultrie on the issue hopefully they can fix it on the next update
Hey just a heads up I just found this out and I’m pretty happy about it. You can get an extra 50 videos added on to your camera for just a dollar.. pretty awesome. Click the camera go to change plan and add videos!
@@ChadD99 I’ve got their pro plan with the 50 vids a month and haven’t hit my limit yet on a month surprisingly because I request videos all the time lol. But thanks for the heads up that’s awesome
Only thing i don't like is that the video takes so long to retrieve. This is my 1 st cell cam. So I'm playing with it getting into the the guts of it. Also don't like the fact that it don't save the videos unless you download it. I mean geezzz if I'm paying you for a service plan don't mess with my pictures.
I won’t shame you for the camera usage in this day and age, but make sure to keep up with your tracking skill sets. You’d be surprised how many people can’t drive to their grandmas house without their gps, and think a compass is an emoji

I haven’t experienced that issue but I’ll reach out to them. I’m sure they’ll get it fixed. Priciate the feedback man.

Batteries work great but it definitely has issues triggering photos. I’ve watched multiple deer in front of this camera and it not trigger.
I’ve missed a few here and there much a majority of the time it’s taking their picture

I agree with your sentiments. I grew up using a compass. Definitely pays off when the phone battery dies.
