I’m an Acupuncturist and I do use the I Ching every single day to help people with pain and many more illnesses. However never used as a source of wisdom or divination. Such a well researched information and you’re a master of breaking down in very small digested parts so everyone can have access to them. Bless you and your work. Fascinating... How does it help in acupuncture? I usually take I Ching as a "book of good tips", so do you as I guess. However, acupuncture seems to be very accurate field of knowledges, too accurate for divinations

A month ago i had to meet someone at the library. I have enough books at home so i did not want to get any, but while waiting, the I Ching was alone on a table near. I knew nothing of it but i was intrigued and took it home. I did not even get to open it in the month so i took it back this morning. Tonight i open you tube and this video was the first suggestion, and introducing me to your channel. I may have to go back to check it out and actually dive in !
Years ago --- rather decades -- in 1964 to be precise (I was 12 years old) I believe that was when my seeking the truth journey began. I stumbled on the I Ching in a bookstore. I purchased it with my saved weekly allowance. I would ponder a question -or situation - in quiet surroundings --- and then randomly opened the I Ching and read the page. I’m not sure if I had the coins or not. I probably did not at that time -- but I don’t remember. At some point I did. I was amazed at how the writings were somehow related to my very question or concern. I realized that I was holding a book that commanded respect -- so in my young mind -- I made sure that it was always in a safe place and like I said -- treated with respect. I have not used it in years and it’s time that I do. It genuinely guided me in my early life with making decisions that I felt I was not able to do-- a sort of guide -- but you have to be sincere and I don’t believe the I Ching can be used for something frivolous. I’m now at a point again where I need help in which direction to go. I can’t believe that I have not thought of it recently until I stumbled on this video. Sorry for rambling.

I've found the I Ching to be a very powerful oracle and tool for clarifying one's thoughts, intentions, and directions in my own life. I hope you can find value in it too. What a special & insightful child you were. You would not have needed coins to receive it’s guidance. Your specialness will have not left you. I, too, will be consulting the I Ching although I never have. Knowing it’s profound history I will have faith in it’s guidance. Great minds validate it’s relevence. I believe the higher power - whatever it is - understands our need for such concrete guidance as the world we have incarnated into is very uncertain & the brains we have been given crave & appreciate such information on a planet that is dangerous and chaotic.
I first discovered the I Ching at age 19 I'm now 71. I'm on my third Wilhem/Banes translation book. The others are in a state of disintegration in zip lock bags . Retired. I don't ask a question but just throw the coins each morning. Every answer Is practical and positive but not because there are no negative parts too it. One line proclaims , 'this is the hour of doom' . It never has been but it's there. It is useful in tracking a psychic battle with a darkling, it tells you how you are faring and how your opponent is faring. It tells you when you are in the wrong and offers constructive ideas. It is much more useful for divination than the Tarot. The Tarot has the moon card as negative - how Christian and patriarchal. It has the Heirophant sitting dressed like the Pope . This card should be the horned man . The I Ching will also crack jokes about your situation sometimes. An invaluable tool for self maintainance and true and accurate.
@@DalimarBlackheart You're right, I don't understand Tarot . . . though I do understand how it relates to the Qabala - I just think some of the cards are sort of provisional as I say above. But I had the most affirming Tarot reading yesterday. I just think the cards offer too much drama and are distracting from from most of the bread and butter issues of life and the I Ching is sooo much more reliable for useful advice. : )

This is what everyone should know. they correlate with the Maya, Hindu, Japanese, and Egyptian. The hexagrams are not random.
I use both the I Ching and Tarot for guidance. They really cover different things: The Tarot is good at letting you understand the possible paths ahead given current energies. The I Ching drills down into the specifics.
Had a HUGE coincidence happen today, something that reshaped my perspective on an important relationship, and afterwards I followed my angel number 12 which had me watch your other I Ching video. I tried it out and got Hex 46. Then I watch this video and...hex 46 06:34 I'm deep in the flow!!
12 year old me loved Tarot. The cards, the mysterious nature. Hungry for this new truth, divination became something I did. At a yard sale I found a copy of the Jung Wilhelm translation of the Yi Jing. I had seen the I ching when looking up divination. I knew that it was similar. With my pocket money I bought it. I didn't understand it. I had no clue what it was or how it could produce a rich meaning like the cards I practiced with. It sat in my book collection for years. I didn't actually use it until my 30s..when I first asked what it would do to me. It replied... Revolutionary. I'm a Taoist now. It did what it told me it would do.

Beautiful video! I had personally never heard of I Ching! I have always been skeptical of divination as I've found many con man and con women use it to rob people of money and time by taking advantage of the lowest points in a persons life, where they can't even think logically and take any source of hope given to them to feel better in that moment. I'm however open to learn systems that can be used without "gate keepers" and you've made a compelling point in this video that even if we don't believe it, there is no harm in trying it out. Indians has a lot to learn from Asian culture and humility. I didn't sense the humility in Indians which is plenty and in abundance in people of Nepal. Huge difference in terms of character in reality. Asia would roar is it wasn't for India.

i find these videos very affirming from what I already believe. I’m a wiccan aka a witch. To me practicing witchcraft is an awakening awakening of once higher self. But the central essence of Wicca is we are in the goddess and the God and they are in us. In other words we are all a spark within the universe essentially like what to talk about in this video. But we can channel energies to create a performance magic
Basically it's like this ... The greatest gifts in life are not physical or free as most are naturally inclined but that those who put in the time and attention who truly want to know and trust in something outside of themselves will through pure inference know the path is true and thus earn such a gift as is knowledge ...where those who don't appreciate knowledge or anything outside of themselves and have not put in the training and taken the appropriate steps toward the thing not easily seen or understood will never receive a gift of such greatness. It doesn't mean they are without merit or worth but it simply means they did not prepare themselves for the journey. A great example is a mountain climber who stands a top the highest mountain overlooking the world and receiving a great gift that of which those who did not passionately strive for thru will and great preparation will not attain and will not understand what they are missing having never dreamed it ... they may have other less heightened passions. I do know that it is very bad to go against your calling or dreams. Who has wasted more than the one who knew the path but didn't take the steps. Above all else fill your mind with wonder and there will be no room for fear.

There is no matter Unless it be a dark and soundless letter Of the eternal Writ no tongue can tell,- Whose book is time. Whoever leaves his house Has already returned. This life we lead Is the future’s beaten pathway. And indeed Nothing bids us goodbye or parts from us. But don’t lose heart. The slave’s dungeon is black, The way of things is iron, cold and hard, But in some corner of your prison yard There may be an old carelessness, a crack. The path is like an arrow, deadly straight, But in the cracks is God, who lies in wait.
A more fictionalized interpretation is that I Ching's symbols had their origins from alien civilizations as an algorithm of sorts, with which, with one's thoughts at the moment together with a full understanding of surrounding environments, one can come up or find the Hexagram (among the 64 Hexagrams) that exactly fits the situation one's in and thus can act accordingly. Perhaps with AI we can finally decode the mystery of I Ching.
I have a strong belief in synchronicity. All my life I have had a strong affinity with "11/11" for no apparent reason. My first wife died suddenly in 2015. In 2017 I met and married a beautiful Filipina grandmother who was born on 11/11/1964. She completely changed my life. I'm Australian, but live with her in Mindanao Philippines now. Yung was right. I will need to look further into the iChing!

Another great informative video. I was introduced to I Ching in 1969 but I really never got into it as I was more intrigued by studying numerology. I started listening to a handful of tarot readers online approx. 1 year ago and the readings really did help me understand the dynamic in a relationship I was involved in, but, I am paring down listening to these readings now in order not to continually revisit the drama surrounding the situation.

I ching is like the tarot cards or jungs 21 faces of God , pattern recognition like mckenna said a shape reshapes itself forming a new shape but it can always be traced to its original form or their are only so much shapes or action one can make to predict it accurately
I don't much believe in divination. The only time I tried the I Ching I got #1 and the next time I got # 2. So I left it at that, and must say it was very interesting. Never used it again.

I think the I Ching was originally from another language entirely. And those enjoying the foresight it provided to those entrusted with it perhaps they invented the binary system to preserve it for posterity.
What does it mean that my husband is a Yin, I am a Yang, on our first date he bought me three coins bundled on a red string. And a bundle of 9 similar coins but smaller. 11 years together this year.

A great example is a mountain climber who stands a top the highest mountain overlooking the world and receiving a great gift that of which those who did not passionately strive for thru will and great preparation will not attain and will not understand what they are missing having never dreamed it ... they may have other less heightened passions. I do know that it is very bad to go against your calling or dreams. Who has wasted more than the one who knew the path but didn't take the steps. Above all else fill your mind with wonder and there will be no room for fear.

Synchronicity in a video about synchronicity!
A more fictionalized interpretation is that I Ching's symbols had their origins from alien civilizations as an algorithm of sorts, with which, with one's thoughts at the moment together with a full understanding of surrounding environments, one can come up or find the Hexagram (among the 64 Hexagrams) that exactly fits the situation one's in and thus can act accordingly. Perhaps with AI we can finally decode the mystery of I Ching.

I have a strong belief in synchronicity. All my life I have had a strong affinity with "11/11" for no apparent reason. My first wife died suddenly in 2015. In 2017 I met and married a beautiful Filipina grandmother who was born on 11/11/1964. She completely changed my life. I'm Australian, but live with her in Mindanao Philippines now. Yung was right. I will need to look further into the iChing!

Another great informative video. I was introduced to I Ching in 1969 but I really never got into it as I was more intrigued by studying numerology. I started listening to a handful of tarot readers online approx. 1 year ago and the readings really did help me understand the dynamic in a relationship I was involved in, but, I am paring down listening to these readings now in order not to continually revisit the drama surrounding the situation.

I ching is like the tarot cards or jungs 21 faces of God , pattern recognition like mckenna said a shape reshapes itself forming a new shape but it can always be traced to its original form or their are only so much shapes or action one can make to predict it accurately

I don't much believe in divination. The only time I tried the I Ching I got #1 and the next time I got # 2. So I left it at that, and must say it was very interesting. Never used it again.
