I don’t have any complaints about Michigan winters either. I couldn’t imagine warmer weather elsewhere either. Helped some people move from Arizona, Cali and Oklahoma and they are in the 100’s. It’s crazy.
You forgot to tell us about bridges and overpasses freeze first. A letter carrier who has delivered mail in over twenty Michigan winters (now retired) I typically worked out in the weather wearing seven layers. The hardest part of my body to keep warm were the hands, trying to find that balance between optimum warth and optimum dexterity when separating one resident's mail from the rest on the block. Combined with carrying all the residents' mail while cold and slippery under foot. Then add the snow itself you have to wade through or bypass. Pile on holiday workload and shorter amounts of daylight during the day, and you have a good explanation why you don't always get your mail on such days. Yes I worked up a sweat in the winter. Rather that than work out of a shiver. Got the flu every winter, too. The flu shot only made the bout of flu worse. Winter rains can be brutal during door to door mail delivery.
Any winter experience here 😅. I'm in FL right now with a minimum of 66 degrees and people it's going around with hats and coats and boots. Everyone it's freaking out cause it's gonna be 37 in the weekend. Thanks for the video👍🏼
haha that's a good problem to have! We are supposed to see some below zero numbers and a big winter storm this evening, but I've noticed more times than not living in Michigan that the weather forecast is highly overexaggerated to what it actually is.
I can only wonder what people from Alaska, Minnesota, the Dakotas, Montana, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire and Canada would think of this not to mention Russians and Scandinavians. Most of Michigan is mild compared to any of these especially in the most populated areas.
What are your winter experiences like? 🤔
Never been to Michigan yet ... Can't wait to visit in the winter! Having been born in Russia, I'm more than capable of surviving a Michigan winter.
I don't have trouble surviving Michigan winters. I can barely tolerate the summers. I can't imagine "surviving" the summers anywhere warmer.

Living in Cali currently looking to possibly move to Michigan. This is good information to know, thank you.
Thanks for watching! If you need anything or have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. Happy to help!
First week in USA and Michigan

@@kaitlynellison7890 That’s terrible! Not over exaggerated in a temperature standpoint, but snowfall standpoint.
