i think that everyone who does something like this where they live should post a video of it here, i can totally see a revolution starting with this, it would be sweet to see a bunch of videos of everyone's versions and interpretations of the same style.
Luv it! My bro is a street artist. He started off as a young teen destroying everything with his profanity and 'cru' graffiti, & wouldn't you know, now he actually gets paid, at 31yrs. old, to spray paint artistic murals & such in urban areas. But to his dismay I've always had my own opinion about graffiti itself & how I wish most of it would stay on book covers & bedroom closet doors, BUT I love my bro and it makes him proud to share his talent. I hope you continue sharing with us YOUR talent.
Brilliant- Keep going and spread your mindset- Really not a protest ---- a test --- you have materials and you are working with a medium. Best thing we've seen on line in a long time.
That's a really cool concept and I'm really impressed. I have a friend that does art by using cardboard with a top layer of black and a bottom layer of white and he "draws" by pealing away the top layer of black and leaving behind white images. This reminds me of it and I like it.
holy wow. I am going to go through this tunnel tomorrow just to see this, even though I have no business on the other side of this tunnel. Gorgeous and unreal and fucking inspired. Thank you.
I came across it by accident when I was in San Francisco, maybe 5 years after it was made? It was still very clear, but it had faded somewhat. Awesome project.
thats so cool. in school our whole school theme is going green, like saving the earth. and were learning about reverse graffiti in art. and i think thats amazing how the make art out of the world .
what makes it different is that instead of adding to the filth on the wall (with spray paint) he is taking away the dirt, cleaning the part that is the subject of his art. regular graffiti is insanely cool, but this is really neat too.
It's a very artistic way to scream "clean the world!". Plus, it's a graffiti you can proudly talk about. You are not painting other people or city's walls to make them look dirtier and polluting air with your aerosol... ... you clean them! Who's gonna accuse you from cleaning a wall partially? =) love it
That is really amazing. I remember from Berkeley this really cool tunnel with a mural and it sort of set me up on this interest for graffiti art. This is just something really unique and it actually seems like it could have a large impact on people if looked at in the right light (literally and figuratively).
wow this is so pretty~!!!!! your gonna start seeing everyone doing this~!! ^o^ its the lure of creating art for everyone to see, making things more beautifull. without the actual painting on some ones privet property!!!!! awsome!!!!!
This is the coolest thing ever. Moose has had grief from authorities in many places for his Eco art which is completely bizarre when people are fined for graffiti and littering. Authorities must really love their dirty walls these days. They will be arresting car washers next... 😃
so that wall was just dist, and they were just "washing" it? that's really cool. i think that art reaches out to people and speaks without saying much, and putting it where everyone is bound to see it and learn the message is great. it's a great idea!
i met moose and his then girl freind a few years ago at a hotel i was working at.i dhad no idea who he was or what he did. but we got chatting and we talked until the early hours of the morning. i hated that job. but encounters like this made it worth while. i'll never forget that night and the next night. we spent hours talking about life. a v ery interesting couple. a pleasure to have met them
Wow... Graffiti is just there when you look at it, nobody really pays attention to it, but the new concept of Reverse Graffiti, when you see it, the image stays in your head.
Is all that on the broardway tunnel now? Thats amazing, I'll keep an eye out for your work! I had to clean a whole carpet once because of clearing up spilled beer.
I like it! Great idea to reverse the negative urban issue of graffiti while raising the underlying core problem of modernism (polution/deforestation) which ultimately could mean our won demise. Great idea and keep it up with the trees! Most people don't realize trees and the environment is essential for our survival. But those who live in huge cities don't see environment so they only care about the economy or their own day-to-day commute or gas prices when there is a larger underlying problem.
Could the chemicals you use to wash potentially damage the concrete? I don't know what you use, but i imagine that if you used chlorine it could be quite harmfull.
At the end of the video it says "powered by Green Works plant-based cleansers." I would think the concrete will live. I'm pretty sure that chlorine does not come from plants.

great ideas spawn from innovators and this city, my city is loaded with creativity. I love frisco. thanks Moose
Wonderful work. Great concept and some lovely stencil work to boot. I love it!
I have been to Broadway Tunnel, and it's still there and it's still awesome.
Brilliant- Keep going and spread your mindset- Really not a protest ---- a test --- you have materials and you are working with a medium. Best thing we've seen on line in a long time.
cheers on doing this man this is really unique and it dosent leave the wall destroyed like the paint dose this is an amazing Idea .
Dude, that is such a cool idea! The art is freakin awesome too.
This is so creative!!
Very nice. Well produced film. Doug Pray rocks.
That has to be one of the coolest things I have seen in a long time. Great idea.
Making art in public without destroying or defacing anything. What a great concept.
good for him for having the guts to take it this far.nice pictures!
i taught a class about reverse graffiti and if it was an act of vandalism or not. this was helpful on so many levels.
That's a really cool concept and I'm really impressed. I have a friend that does art by using cardboard with a top layer of black and a bottom layer of white and he "draws" by pealing away the top layer of black and leaving behind white images. This reminds me of it and I like it.
Very well done piece, I loved this video and said wow 2 times...Good work.
What a unique idea, and powerful message!
Awesome project.

please, come to Poland, Silesia, lots of material! Greetings!
What an incredible concept. Makes me want to start toting a brush and soap around.
i went and checked it out today...it's actually really cool and surpirsingly detailed.
what makes it different is that instead of adding to the filth on the wall (with spray paint) he is taking away the dirt, cleaning the part that is the subject of his art.
regular graffiti is insanely cool, but this is really neat too.
That is a really cool concept, i hope this idea spreads.
art that makes the same impact as graffiti without the destruction
beautiful
This is AMAZING!!!!
nicely done, great subject, and wonderfully shot! I'd love to see a full-length doc on this....
Is anyone else here from their English class? Lmaoo

And the message is awesome too :P

Awesome! Absolutely incredible.
The reaction of the pedestrian at the end of the video... Priceless double take!
That's really nice. :)
Great way to express yourself.

Skill - Correct Ethic - Sticking it to the man.
Awesome..
Yes... Indeed... Incredible work.

Great video, great concept!

wow this is so pretty~!!!!! your gonna start seeing everyone doing this~!! ^o^ its the lure of creating art for everyone to see, making things more beautifull. without the actual painting on some ones privet property!!!!! awsome!!!!!
Thats creativity with a message
vraiment un bon concepts!!!!!art éphémère et qui ne derange pas!ahah
that's pretty cool. It reminds me of making smiley faces in dust but bigger and more complex.
Brilliant!!!
I love the message your sending out mate, keep it up!
How cool! Wish there was more stuff like this going on everywhere.
that was UHHHMAZING! "moose" is a pure genius! beautiful art with a clear cut deep message...i LOVES it! :)♥
You could totally turn that into a business. Charge companies to "clean" advertisements where ever they want.
This is the coolest thing ever. Moose has had grief from authorities in many places for his Eco art which is completely bizarre when people are fined for graffiti and littering. Authorities must really love their dirty walls these days. They will be arresting car washers next... 😃
Spectacular!

Great work! Sooner or later people will realize that our way of life is unsustainable. We shall continue to urge for a change.
Its also cool that their art is showing people we need to be more clean. Everybody should be more green and environmetal.
straordinariamente bello!
Really good film making, good job.
What a refreshing idea.
This is so cool! Cleaning = art of the streets. Do art by cleaning our surroundings. Now this is the real deal.
I thought this was the 3rd street tunnel in DTLA, until he said the Broadway tunnel.
Moose, come to L.A. We'd love that here.
congratulations!!
Very cool job
Magnifiant.
Well done really.
That's... amazing. I never thought of anything close to this.
Wow...
Graffiti is just there when you look at it, nobody really pays attention to it, but the new concept of Reverse Graffiti, when you see it, the image stays in your head.
really cool idea. some guy on a tv program tried to pitch that idea for green advertising to possible investors but they were havin none of it
Very interesting choice of expression, nice.
This is truly Green Art. Also reminiscent of French "afishiste" (not sure of spelling)art movement which used tattered subway posters.
Wow. That is really cool!
Great feature!
Much better than the regular kind.
This is pretty sweet. Thanks for the message! :)
brilliant idea.

This is brilliant and I love this. I'm going to try some of this my my town. I'll bet I'll still get arrested. "Malicious cleaning"
oh man that is so awesome!
I like the idea.
And he made the stencils. So he is an artist.
that's awesome
i got to go down to sf this weekend
truely amazing artwork. and how it is created and what tools he uses to make it.
Wow, Great idea.
Beautiful idea. I hope to see more of it around Wichita. Anybody know the musician who made the music bed to this video?
