This ain't your average podcast; it's two greatest man of their field dropping some serious wisdom. I've always been a fan of Phil Heath's killer mindset, but damn, listening to these episodes made me love him even more.
Listening to these men being emotional and vulnerable is something our society needs more of. These are two of the most respected men in the industry, and they're setting the example that its okay to be real and raw. I've always loved and respected Phil, but this was something special.
I enjoyed part one but part two is fantastic. It's the clearing of the air that was a long time coming. Champion mentality from both these guys and its no wonder they wrote history in the sport. It's great to see Phil coming to terms with the aspects of his career that were eating at him, address them and close the door on them. He would have little to gain from a comeback. He will go down as one of the greats and he has got out with his reputation and health intact. I feel happy for him, he should just kick back and focus on his passion projects from here on.
The Generation Iron Movie definitely pushed the narrative of Phil being a villain. This podcast definitely was needed, it made me see him in a different light. Thank Hany Rambod. Excellent episode. When is Kai coming on the podcast?
I love this part 2 Real Talk the best real Talk podcast that we can feel the journey these two have been throw was great to hear their story in more detail.
Thanks for this Hany. Always had respect for Phil and the way Generation Iron did him IS dirty. Phil is a great person and he doesn’t get enough credit for what he’s done for bodybuilding. The most misunderstood and one of the most genuine guys in bodybuilding.
I absolutely love when Phil does interviews with hany. It’s his true self. I’ve never been the biggest Phil heath fan because I always thought he was cocky and arrogant. Partly due to generation iron but even after so. Even recently on the modern wisdom (Chris Williamson) podcast. But Hany keeps him humble.
@@HatchetHarry12 well first of all you don’t know what I have won or not won, but regardless there have been 17 other Mr. Olympia winners? Phil and Arnold have been the only cocky and arrogant ones. I’ve listened to every film. every podcast that there is, I’ve seen every interview/podcast, every speech he’s made. I follow the sport like most Americans follow football so I have a pretty good understanding of how he acts at least on camera, and this is the only interview of him where he’s been, pleasing and humble. I enjoyed this podcast. However, you might be his best friend and know him personally, so maybe you know more than I do.
@@mjdean89 if you say youve listened to every interview and podcast of Phil, then you're lying because Phil always shows humility. Also whats arrogant to you, is recognising the shadow self to someone else. Clearly havent listened to Phils interviews with Lewis Howes or Mylett - where he discusses the reasoning behind his knickname 'dream killer' - yeah you deffo havent won anything on an elite level....furthermore - showing arrogance outwardly does not make someone not humble inwardly (to be a 7x champ takes incredible humility like missing 13 summers in a row, missing bdays, family etc. .
Best Phil interview ever awesome relationship between the 2. People have no clue what champs like him go through and so naïve to just think it was handed to him. Being at that film and hearing people say that about you hurt and Phil fueled it to be the best. 👏👏
Long overdue interview where Phil finally gets to share his side of things. A lot of people seeing him in a different light after this I imagine. I’ve always admired Phil’s drive for excellence and commitment for success. Great interview Hany!
Phil is such a nice person. He managed to congratulate to the birth of both of my sons via Twitter when there were thousands of Tweets for him a day. I could put it in their „First Year on this Planet“ albums. A really nice thing. As Mr O he was one of the three best representatives this beautiful sport ever had. 👍🏻😎🚀
Great interview guys. Really enjoyed it. You can tell the hurt Phil had from the people that pushed him to be the best. Everything in life is such a double edge sword. That negativity made phil just that much better. I feel he still had part of his heart hardened by these events. You can tell when it's brought up the way he talks is totally different. Praying one day he finds peace in all the people that did him wrong or tried to turn him into a bad guy. Using motivation from hatred and trying to put it to good works great but their are problems that come with it. (Personal experience). Hany is such a good person you can tell when Phil gets all amp'd up Hany is a voice of reason and calming. I notice Hany isn't nervous to tell phil the truth. Pretty awesome relationship you guys have and is a huge reason for the success.
I have been saying Generation Iron wasnt reality since it came out. Its a film... It was obvious it was for fun and entertainment, not real life. But man, people would argue and take it for reality. Was wild to see how stupid people are... Always rooted for ya Phil, glad the truth is all coming out and people are now loving you again
I enjoy when Phil and Hany do interviews together; it reveals Phil's true character. Although I wasn't the biggest fan of Phil Heath before, thinking he was cocky and arrogant, especially because of Generation Iron, recent podcasts like the one with Chris Williamson have changed my mind. Hany seems to keep Phil humble. Props to Hany for that. I've always respected Phil, and Generation Iron's portrayal of him was unfair. Phil deserves more credit for his contributions to bodybuilding. He's often misunderstood, yet one of the most genuine guys in the sport.
It's so sad to see you have only 28k views at a podcast with a legend and get almost 1M views at a clip with a 19 years old boy. Anyway, thank both of you guys because I've learn so many things from you. Phil and Hani are the best!🙌🏻
What a Gem of a podcast . Amazing thank you to you both for sharing . As a fan of the sport what a privilege to hear behind the scenes of the Phil Heath Reign👏🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇
After watching this , I realized I was completely wrong about Phil!? This podcast opened my eyes. Phil seems likel a f$&$ng good dude! And very smart! The power the media has can really be misleading. Great interview
Great interview. Saw both parts. I admit, I disliked Phil when he was dominating (although I always was of the opinion that he had and still has the best physique of all time; yes he fascinates me more than Ronnie) but now the guy is much more humble and honest I love him.
No disrespect to all the other AMAZING athletes. But for ME! Phil heath made the excitement to Mr Olympia. I used to wait the whole year to see what phil would bring. He just had that Vibe & stage dominance. Even if you preferred others over him.. he brought that aggressive energy to the stage! That self-belief & confidence was like no other! I feel Nick walker now brings that similar energy now! But for me growing up & watching the Olympia. Heath got me into watching bodybuilding competitions! 💯💯
After watching Gen Iron everyday I still didnt see him as a douche until I met him. He did a meet n greet in Houston Texas at power house and when you paid to take a picture with him someone tried to put their arm around him. then he moved and said, "dont touche me.'
I like Kai. Kai being the anti hero was good. Phil needed a guy like that. Every great had one. It’s good to see that so many bodybuilders turned out great in post career despite not winning Mr O
@@jasonreyna7615 totally agree man Shawn looked absolutely phenomenal and could of easily won 2019 if Phil took the time off for surgery but he should really be tied with Haney and Coleman.

The emotions in this part 2 were so real. Thanks for being so vunrable with us, it really motivates us in so many aspects. 👏👏👏👏👏
Two best friends, sitting together talking life.
The Best podcast ever, man. Full of emotions
This interview is excellent. Phil really has that mamba mentality transformed into a Mr.Olympia mindset. Truly inspiring!
what an interview. Phil's genuine admiration and respect for Hany towards the end was definitely felt.

I have so much inspiration from the "dream killer mentality". That's type of thinking help me a lot. So, thank you Phil.
Raw emotion from two of the best ever. Thank you so much
Started following bodybuilding in early 2023 and its nice to hear these stories makes me appreciate phil for more than his 7 olympias

To me, Phil comes off with an inflated sense of self-importance, however I probably would too if I had as many Olympias as he does lol
That Generation Iron and Vlad and the team, they are lame. Always have been. Low quality content and they have low following anyway. What a Joke
