As an MK2 non-griefer, I find it funny when people get defensive when I'm flying by otw to a mission/heist prep Edit: People keep saying "turn off missle lock" yes... its off... dont need missiles since i never griefed on an MK2.
Insurgent pickup custom has killed more players for me than any other vehicle. Nothing like dropping mines as ya head under an overpass, then watching the mk2 drop down right into the mine.
A *huge* weakness with the b11 is it’s tail. You get hit by a rocket back there, which is more than likely where you will get hit by a rocket, and you lose all control of the aircraft, although you won’t die from it.
Not all the time, I’ve survived two rockets to the back and still maintained enough control to land it at my hangar at the military base to repair and fly again.
Actually the hover mode on hydra allows you to go faster than a rocket. It's a neat trick that can get you to the other side of the map under 30 sec. I use it pretty often and it's very easy to learn but you can go only in a straight line. Also higher = faster applies to every aircraft in the game.
Hey harmnone, just a quick weird quirk. The B11.has an odd feature with its gun. It doesnt have great fire against ground targets, but for some reason Rockstar made it a good dogfighter. If you land a couple shots, it seems to melt aircraft. Ive seen tgg, ghillie and professional level planes and choppers with it, for some reason it excels against aircraft
I absolutely annihilate every session with B-11. It's very OP, ground strike aircraft, and one of the best dogfighters. It has the best fire against a ground targets, cause its slow, and you can fire all the rockets barage at the target and then immediately release a burst of machine guns. It makes incredible amount of damage
The Hunter is very fast if you fly it out of a hangar rather than request it. You can outrun most homing missiles with it and if you do get hit, you will live.
Hunter is so good for killing oppressors if u have a co pilot on the turret things! All u have to do is keep gaining altitude with the hunter and stay above the oppressor while your friend is shooting at oppressor because the hunter climbs faster
Hunter cant even dodge missiles, if enemy sends 3 missiles flying at u and u use flares, the flares are gonna take out the 2 missiles but the 3rd one is gonna hit u no matter what... so no helicopter is good for fighting
@@gramjoe7590 You can dodge them unless they come from something like a Deluxo. Just gotta lean towards the rocket as it comes near you. Or use your chaff to prevent lock on to buy yourself time.
Most people don't know but the best dog fighter in the game is the starling. The cons of this plane are that it is a glider with a boost making it hard to learn how to fly it and its weapons are very weak. But the cons are easily countered by the fact that no matter what the enemy does, you will always be behind them. This allows you to use the plane's machine guns to destroy the enemy.
I think the pyro has the best turning but the starling is faster so if you're going in circles eventually the pyro will catch up to the starling but I like the starling better bc it is more versatile
I love using the Savage. It may be outdated PvP-wise, but it can pummel your enemies as long as you have air superiority. I remember I had one last target on Headhunter, but the problem was that he was being protected by other players and they destroyed my MK2 bike in the process. I left the scene feeling dejected, but then I called Pegasus for a Savage as a last ditch effort. Long story short, I flew low enough near ground level, did a quick strafe and got the target.
i remember buying it yonks ago when i was playing with friends. quick call to lester and go off the radar, use the explosive cannon and poof! they are gone! simpler times where buying a vehicle almost 2 mil was a lot. now most good vehicles are 3-4mil.
The B-11 is a devastating dogfighter actually and a very satisfying one too. While in some dogfights you may not Kill your target, one of shots will definitely disable enemy aircraft upon hit. Match that with its amazing maneuverability ability to make dumb sharp turns and it is a terror to fight against.
Shout out to the old police van that you can get when you have 3 stars. It's great against npcs and noobs that don't realize the windshield is bullet proof until you run them over a few times. It's free unless you pay the 600 to remove the wanted level to avoid getting the tires popped, is decently fast and can ram cars and send them rolling, and handles well until all the tires are popped. It's fun watching someone shoot at your windshield with a full auto shotgun or rifle as you laugh and hit them at full speed.
@@HarmNone If you hit the emergency brake and drift it you can make the van slide sideways and get someone that's trying to roll out of the way. I don't know why they won't let you buy one at this point. The insurgent offers better protection, is faster, and hits harder.
Love the hydra ! Maybe not as nimble as the Lazer but vtol makes up for that...i believe the canon range is a wee bit bigger than the latter..i swear i saw a well documented video on the subject and it appeared so... Good content ! Love from across the pond !
I got to say the hydra is one of my favorite vehicles in the game. But the craziest thing happened when I bought my Hydra, they gave me two somehow and now I have two hydras in my hanger, but I only paid for one of them. never complained about it, but it was weird.
You can call hydra from pegasus, land it in and have a hangar full of hydras. I have 2 also and it's useful becouse you don't have to call the mmi before you can call in another one. But more then 2 is just wasting space in your hangar. Also if you take your hangar hydra and call in your pegasus hydra you have 2 at the same time for your friend ;)
The reason I love the B-11 is because it absolutely CREAMS everything other than jets and giga armored vehicles like the moc cab or the spawn of Satan the oppressor mk2
For the majority of my casual play while doing CEO or Biker missions, I'll use a de-weaponized Deluxo. Why de-weaponized? Well you get to use all your standard array of weaponry like you can out of any vehicle. so grenades, stickies, AP pistol, etc. It's the multi-tool for your tool kit in any GTA experience.
The one thing the b11 mini gun is good for is for picking off armor on jets when dog fighting them and then just finishing them off with barrage missiles or homing.
Near perfect list. I'm reconsidering the B11...it's not necessarily needed at the moment but if I wanted to add to my collection that's the airplane I'd likely grab. The hydra... Great aircraft as you mentioned all of the honest facts are there. That's another one that boils down to preference. In my opinion the akula out performed the hunter, hell buy both if you have the bank, if not I'd side with the akula much easier to fly which is great for new pilots. Happy birthday!
Agree with you about the Akula completely, I would honestly say it’s just as good as the Hunter because of stealth mode (if not better) but I included the Akula as a defensive vehicle on my best defensive vehicles list so I wanted to switch it for the Hunter on this one :)
I very highly recommend the b11 but be warned you need a lot of practice with it to be deadly. I’m an ace pilot in GTA and I’ve gotten kills with every jet and bomber. I can accurately say that even if you’re a good hydra pilot, switching to the b11 strikeforce is stepping into a whole different ballpark. The b11 takes a lot more skill and practice to master. With enough experience, a b11 can be used to take down every single other fighter unless your enemy is more skilled and accurate than you. A b11 can slice through a hydra any day, you just have to dodge it in that first pass. The weapons on the b11 are all extremely deadly but only if you know how to aim them. The bombs, barrage missiles, and the explosive cannon take a little practice to understand. They take moderate practice to kill players with. And they take lots of practice to get long ranged kills while dodging enemy fire from oppressors, missile launchers, explosive snipers, anti aircraft vehicles like the APC, Khanjali, etc. Buy the b11 the day you are ready to commit to getting shot down, missing your own shots, and getting frustrated because it’s not as easy as the hydra. If you don’t want to struggle, don’t get it. But if you want to be part of the best pilots in GTA who can easily shoot down any hydra or Lazer, and kill people in cars and on foot, then by all means step right up. P.S. Remember, the strikeforce’s biggest weakness is losing tail wings when getting hit by a single missile. Even though it takes 5 to blow it up, just 1 rocket can disable your flight controls and kill you. I wish that wasn’t the case, but it’s what we have. Watch out for mk2 especially. Their missiles are almost impossible for the b11 to dodge at low altitude. Almost.
He sold me on the Sparrow, having it spawn right next to you is a big deal (and it has countermeasures now). Good list overall; I did buy the Lazer because it's the best dogfighter against everyone except the Top 1% of pilots (they'll be in the Starling or Pyro). A little surprised at some omissions: Akula (go off the radar), Deluxo (flying car with insane missiles) and Torreador (goes underwater, insane homing missiles and boosts) and even the Half Track (bulletproof everywhere but side windows, can take 27 homing missiles and great top turret). I'd probably take any of these over the APC for instance.

The apc is underrated and forgotten but even more terrifying than the kanjali tank when you realize it's just as armored faster can have a rapid fire sam turret and there's not many places it can't go as you get chased down like a rat lol
Yeah true! I wondered what that Sam turret was, never see the APC I literally thought wow this must be a new vehicle. So much bomb spam lol. I got banned cos some kid reported me even tho he started an argument. So I made a new character as I couldn't wait to play.. level 10 up against killers in APC got nuked maybe 15 times. Some German girl and her buddy. Then she had the cheek to message me about how rubbish i am. Only had the tommy gun and one sultan, so not much I could do as they were so fast and i just start the game again, straight into greifers paradise 💀

I love the Halo music!!! I have an electric bike IRL and I love smoking w and riding around at night playing Halo music out loud with a speaker. I love seeing the neon lights of the city while listening to Halo music. Seriously this video is so much more awesome because of the music!
I think the anti aircraft cannon (the 20mm flak version to be specific) should be on the list because if you have a friend use a nightshark you are basically unstoppable as the cannon can basically 1-2 shot anything in the game
Yes, it also can make a good combo when attached to the insurgent pickup custom Then you have a machine gun, dual flak cannon and proxi mines. Also works with the halftrack, which i think is also equipable with flak cannon, but its way slower than the insurgent
I'm assuming the flak gun is a product of the Bunker Research, yeah? This just tells me I need to unlock ALL the Bunker Research items _just because I can_ and THEN worry about selling product
Another thing you missed about the Savage, it's lock-on box is lower than alot of helicopters, so since you're usually higher than most attackers, their lock ons will usually miss when fired at you, especially if you just start going upwards when they fire. The Annihilator has the same thing, but not quite as strong as the Savage.
i think you failed to mention one very important thing about the Khanjali the rail gun is absolutely worth it and here is why. certain vehicles have this "rocket immunity feature" like the nightshark and insurgent. with a regular cannon you have to shoot them a couple of times to blow up however the rail gun ignores that. you can blow those cars up with 2 shots.
More like atleast 70 I took 2 full opressor missile barrages while i was doing haulage mission and i wasn't even smoking Got called cheater with glitched vehicle afterwards 😂😂😂 I also recommend getting phantom custom instead of hauler Not only it comes as default for 0 bucks with moc but you can also throw stickies out of it Hauler offers better window protection but the 1.2 mil price and not being able to throw stickies make it pretty not worth choice seeing how they're same in speed,steering and durability

Love the hydra too. Good list for sure. With ya on mk2. (Hate that thing, original is cool though) hydra has that hover mode speed too, get across the map hella fast
Lasers are actually pretty easy to take out / avoid with the sparrow. Usually , not always its not always a for sure win but usually they fire and miss the machine guns or I hear the lock on so evadethen they loop which leaves them very vulnerable for a rocket
Not neccesarily, what i do is i strike helicopters like buzzards and sparrows from above, the missiles hit with higher chance and the helicopters cant fire back at you, also easier to hit with machineguns
You mentioned how you were frustrated with the 7 missile barrage on the hunter. The 7 missiles actually come out of the two side cylinders which show 7 holes in each, not the 2 four hole cylinders near the center
The akula in my opinion is better than the hunter since it can go off radar so it can sneak up on someone that isn’t paying attention which are mostly a lot
Future tank has such crazy range it's a lot harder for people to get away in cars than u think. If u can see them on mini map u can shoot them pretty much
When I used to have a mk2 I’d never use it for combat though(unless deserved). I would only use it to get around and it’s pretty fun to act like a escort for a random player doing cargo or heist prep
Hydras get mopped by the lazer easily every time. Its so slow and huge, that ive never had an issue with a lazer versus hydra. B11 also has a pretty slow top speed. Pyro is the fastest jet in the game i think, would probably take it over B11 to. Hydra is a jet for people who cant handle the speed/handling of the lazer and for people who cant hit a target unless in hover, in one place. I guess its nice against NPCs though.

@@FatherDinny That applies to EVERY vehicle. You might as well use any less expensive armoured vehicle. I don't have the strength to throw a sticky hundreds of feet in the air to get a jet! :D
The lazar is my favourite to use. If you know how to properly fly planes in the game, the lazar is good air to air and air to ground. The one problem with the hydra is that it is very bad for dog fighting which is why I believe the lazar is superior.
People talk of vehicles which "spawn right next to you" - I've yet to find one! Worst is the garage mechanic "Its comin' right atcher" "I'm sorry, I can't bring it right now" I would SO fire that guys ass! :(
I disagree with your 9th pick, akula is better for hit and run. It can appear and dissapear on a whim, if you paint chrome its damn near invisible, it can take 3 rockets and has okay speed.
Me and my friends mostly fight with a b11 strikeforce and a insurgent pickup wich im mostly always the driver of we got my mate using the gunner and the b11 pilot for air support
I got the oppressor MKII and…. Kind of disappointed, I feel my toreador’s missile are more accurate? Or there’s a learning curve and certain angles, because I literally have to spam it in order to get the shot. Did it get nerfed or I just need to learn?
@@bullsfan6965 unless they nerfed the mk2's rockets they are identical to the ruiner and deluxso the only reason i can see the deluxso beating the mk2 is because it flies just slow enough for the rocket to have time to actually connect/lock on but otherwise they are the same
Why are people so bitter about the MK 2? Lmao that's ridiculous man it's not the vehicle that's toxic, its the idiots who use it for evil... Just a side note the MK 2 misses are not the best in the game. They are what I like to call Tier 2 rockets. Tier 1 (which have the best tracking) belongs to the Vigilante, Deluxo, Ruiner 2000 (both the personal version and the mission version) Chernobog, and Scramjet. I say that because the Mk 2 rockets miss from time to time under certain circstances. The aforementioned 5 vehicles rockets never miss and I do meam never unless you can somehow put a solid object like a building between you and the missile coming at you very quickly! Your list wasn't bad though. Hard to put a best vehicle in this game because there is so many options. For me the Toreador has become a favorite because of what it can do and that is kill MK 2s very easily unless the Mk 2 operator is a pro and knows how to use chaff properly which is very rare...
Fair, I think a lot of people hate the MK2 because of how it changed GTA Online’s landscape especially at the time it was released, with no counters at all :/
Can u store the insurgent custom in your personal garage once modded or is it still a pegasus vehicle you have 2 call out ? Wish all your cars were counted as a personal vehicle and u dont have 2 call them can just store them somewhere

The guns are pretty good, ok missikes, somewhat powerful cannons and bombs + counterneasures

When i fight b11 on my lazer i just keep it on low altitude and dont go up, amd thats how i dont lose a fight with b11.

I can accurately say that even if you’re a good hydra pilot, switching to the b11 strikeforce is stepping into a whole different ballpark. The b11 takes a lot more skill and practice to master. With enough experience, a b11 can be used to take down every single other fighter unless your enemy is more skilled and accurate than you. A b11 can slice through a hydra any day, you just have to dodge it in that first pass. The weapons on the b11 are all extremely deadly but only if you know how to aim them. The bombs, barrage missiles, and the explosive cannon take a little practice to understand. They take moderate practice to kill players with. And they take lots of practice to get long ranged kills while dodging enemy fire from oppressors, missile launchers, explosive snipers, anti aircraft vehicles like the APC, Khanjali, etc.
Buy the b11 the day you are ready to commit to getting shot down, missing your own shots, and getting frustrated because it’s not as easy as the hydra. If you don’t want to struggle, don’t get it. But if you want to be part of the best pilots in GTA who can easily shoot down any hydra or Lazer, and kill people in cars and on foot, then by all means step right up.
P.S.
Remember, the strikeforce’s biggest weakness is losing tail wings when getting hit by a single missile. Even though it takes 5 to blow it up, just 1 rocket can disable your flight controls and kill you. I wish that wasn’t the case, but it’s what we have. Watch out for mk2 especially. Their missiles are almost impossible for the b11 to dodge at low altitude. Almost.

He sold me on the Sparrow, having it spawn right next to you is a big deal (and it has countermeasures now). Good list overall; I did buy the Lazer because it's the best dogfighter against everyone except the Top 1% of pilots (they'll be in the Starling or Pyro).
A little surprised at some omissions: Akula (go off the radar), Deluxo (flying car with insane missiles) and Torreador (goes underwater, insane homing missiles and boosts) and even the Half Track (bulletproof everywhere but side windows, can take 27 homing missiles and great top turret). I'd probably take any of these over the APC for instance.

1 problem with the hydra is that it’s very wide and covers a lot of space so it’s easier to kill in dogfights

The apc is underrated and forgotten but even more terrifying than the kanjali tank when you realize it's just as armored faster can have a rapid fire sam turret and there's not many places it can't go as you get chased down like a rat lol

Yeah true! I wondered what that Sam turret was, never see the APC I literally thought wow this must be a new vehicle. So much bomb spam lol. I got banned cos some kid reported me even tho he started an argument. So I made a new character as I couldn't wait to play.. level 10 up against killers in APC got nuked maybe 15 times.

I love the Halo music!!! I have an electric bike IRL and I love smoking w and riding around at night playing Halo music out loud with a speaker. I love seeing the neon lights of the city while listening to Halo music. Seriously this video is so much more awesome because of the music!
I think the anti aircraft cannon (the 20mm flak version to be specific) should be on the list because if you have a friend use a nightshark you are basically unstoppable as the cannon can basically 1-2 shot anything in the game
Finally someone mentioned it. Few people know about it and that's why when u destroy an enemy tank with 1 shot they scream "cheater".
Yes, it also can make a good combo when attached to the insurgent pickup custom
Then you have a machine gun, dual flak cannon and proxi mines.
Also works with the halftrack, which i think is also equipable with flak cannon, but its way slower than the insurgent

Another thing you missed about the Savage, it's lock-on box is lower than alot of helicopters, so since you're usually higher than most attackers, their lock ons will usually miss when fired at you, especially if you just start going upwards when they fire. The Annihilator has the same thing, but not quite as strong as the Savage.

i think you failed to mention one very important thing about the Khanjali
the rail gun is absolutely worth it and here is why. certain vehicles have this "rocket immunity feature" like the nightshark and insurgent. with a regular cannon you have to shoot them a couple of times to blow up however the rail gun ignores that. you can blow those cars up with 2 shots.

The MOC Phantom Hauler is a great defensive vehicle. I think it takes 25 homing missiles to take it down.

Lasers are actually pretty easy to take out / avoid with the sparrow. Usually , not always its not always a for sure win but usually they fire and miss the machine guns or I hear the lock on so evadethen they loop which leaves them very vulnerable for a rocket

Not neccesarily, what i do is i strike helicopters like buzzards and sparrows from above, the missiles hit with higher chance and the helicopters cant fire back at you, also easier to hit with machineguns

You mentioned how you were frustrated with the 7 missile barrage on the hunter. The 7 missiles actually come out of the two side cylinders which show 7 holes in each, not the 2 four hole cylinders near the center

Future tank has such crazy range it's a lot harder for people to get away in cars than u think. If u can see them on mini map u can shoot them pretty much

I’d never use it for combat though(unless deserved).
I would only use it to get around and it’s pretty fun to act like a escort for a random player doing cargo or heist prep

Hydras get mopped by the lazer easily every time. Its so slow and huge, that ive never had an issue with a lazer versus hydra. B11 also has a pretty slow top speed. Pyro is the fastest jet in the game i think, would probably take it over B11 to. Hydra is a jet for people who cant handle the speed/handling of the lazer and for people who cant hit a target unless in hover, in one place. I guess its nice against NPCs though.

The lazar is my favourite to use. If you know how to properly fly planes in the game, the lazar is good air to air and air to ground. The one problem with the hydra is that it is very bad for dog fighting which is why I believe the lazar is superior.

I got the oppressor MKII and…. Kind of disappointed, I feel my toreador’s missile are more accurate? Or there’s a learning curve and certain angles, because I literally have to spam it in order to get the shot. Did it get nerfed or I just need to learn?

the only reason i can see the deluxso beating the mk2 is because it flies just slow enough for the rocket to have time to actually connect/lock on but otherwise they are the same

Just a side note the MK 2 misses are not the best in the game. They are what I like to call Tier 2 rockets. Tier 1 (which have the best tracking) belongs to the Vigilante, Deluxo, Ruiner 2000 (both the personal version and the mission version) Chernobog, and Scramjet. I say that because the Mk 2 rockets miss from time to time under certain circstances. The aforementioned 5 vehicles rockets never miss and I do meam never unless you can somehow put a solid object like a building between you and the missile coming at you very quickly!
Your list wasn't bad though. Hard to put a best vehicle in this game because there is so many options.
For me the Toreador has become a favorite because of what it can do and that is kill MK 2s very easily unless the Mk 2 operator is a pro and knows how to use chaff properly which is very rare...
Fair, I think a lot of people hate the MK2 because of how it changed GTA Online’s landscape especially at the time it was released, with no counters at all :/
