And it doesn’t feel good. It sucks.
Ungalo is closer to Dario, Versus is closer to Dio, and Rykiel is closer to Jonathan with aspects of DIO thrown in. One is a miserable drug-using wreck, another is a scheming and hateful person, and Rykiel is hopeful, looking towards the progression of humanity. One of these is not like the others.

Just realized this now, but even the stand punch barrages look so skimp in stone ocean. I think in regards to the premise that diu looks as bad as stone ocean, I think the direction of part 4 holds up a lot better than the direction for stone ocean. Everyone memes on the scene where killer queen and kira confront shigechi, but what made that scene so compelling was the direction. Its music, the pacing of the scene, the script and much more im not articulate enough to convey, comes together to make a compelling whole. Im definitely going to check out stone oceans blu ray to see how much of this ship can be course corrected, my biggest beef is the cgi, but if the BD's are good I pray they aren't as expensive as every other jojo BD holy fuck why are they priced like that.
