Adventure Navigation: Garmin Zumo XT2 and DriveModeDashboard GPX Importing and Recording

In the adventure navigation series this video goes over how you import a GPX file into the Garmin Zumo XT2 compared to Drive Mode Dashboard. We also look at the GPX recording features of both. Next up in the series we will review the Mapping of each and information that can be overlaid on the maps.

I just found your channel.
I just ordered a T865 to use on next year's Scooter Cannonball. I will likely be the only person not running a Garmin product or phone which means I'll be on my own for troubleshooting. I have one year to know this thing inside and out.

I think you will love it. Depending on your tech ability, you can pick it up pretty quick. Especially if you already are used to android.

@@AdvTechMoto I was an android guy up until last year and am familiar with it. I am over Garmin's slow and inflexible UI. As long as it can get me to the checkpoints, I should be fine. Aside from some direct satellite data that Garmin get's, I don't see many downsides. We'll surely find out soon enough.
