It actually takes a long time from dropping those soldiers on the ground to the moment howitzer is ready to fire.. I think with a current advancements in technology all this should be done faster. Unfortunately 155 mm howitzer is just a bit to heavy to be flown in by the Black Hawk so they have to use the Chinook. The replacement for Black Hawk is gonna be twice as fast and be able to carry a load twice as heavy so this gun won't be a problem. Our troops will be able to deploy faster and start raining that covering artillery fire much sooner. Anyway, great job guys...

I was a Field Artillery Soldier for 20 years, and I see more wrong with this M777 emplacement (Air Assault Raid) than I see correct. Why is the aircraft on the ground so long? Howitzer Section, where are your weapons!? Why are you moving so slow at everything you are doing!? Why are you exiting the aircraft after the mission and not have your weapon at the low ready and why are you all walking like you're on a Sunday stroll? As a Chief of Firing Battery, I would have crew drilled your asses till you puked. Other than that, Thank you for your service!
