20 years later and this shit is HOOD TREASURE! I was only 10 years old when this came out in 2002! Now I’m 30 and must say this was a GREAT TIME to be a kid! I’m so glad I got to witness this. I’m blessed to say I went to the Mixtape Tour Games here in Detroit 2004 & 2005! I had all the mixtapes too as well.

I never realized how ungrateful some of the players were. As a kid I didn't see it and some of them aren't really about the kids like they say. I was 15 years old trying to talk to 50 in Toyota center he ignored me had me feeling stupid calling his name he finally turned side ways smacked his lips and told his girl get rid of this kid. His girl turns around and says 50 ain't saying no autographs. I wasn't even asking for that I just wanted to meet him and say hi. I'll never forget it. It hurt me deeply cause it was because of him is why I wanted to jump I practiced crazy finally I did my first dunk when I was 14 I wanted to just tell him how much I admired him. But instead I got a lesson in life. Some people let there Fame get to them. To were they think they can just ignore people like they're not even there. Some folks get uppity and now seeing this rerun I'm finally seeing things that I didn't see growing up. True story
Damn of all people 50? He really seems like one of the absolute most down to earth dudes of all of them. Not with his game, but just as a human. I remember him saying he better then tim Duncan as Escalade asking why he ain't in the league and out here doin tricks with us. But 50 shrugging you off? Theres gotta be a reason. And it couldnt have been a girl. That dude is human but seems so much more straight up. Like prime objective.

I remember when the very first tape came out with Skip playing at the Rucker back in 98....that shit had nyc jumping. People were lined up at Cardozo high school in Queens to watch Skip play. That tape set a lot of standards for summers...

i used to record all these episodes on tape...timeless days..then i use to go in the garage and practice all of them..i use to cross everybody .but when it came to getting buckets against the high school players i never could hang.. i focused on too much and 1 and not enough nba

Houston summers were so hot I had to have a TV schedule before I went outside. The lineup always included BET shows, an hour of AND 1, Rap City then I could go outside 😅

I disagree. Each of the AND1 players had their own style of playing the game. No one played the same way. The diversity of talent and play styles is what made AND1 so successful.
