“I woke up with smallpox but at least I woke up”. Was not expecting that line lol thanks for doing another 100 days of this. It doesn’t seem like the type of farming game I’d like but your narration makes it hilarious.
Attending that funeral for Leo live was such a good/horrible moment. Love these! Also I had this on the second monitor while working and "All of her family members are here. All of my family members are dead" DESTROYED ME.
Oh my god, the way Andrew's family smiled and watched as he ate the death cake had me in tears! 😂 Absolutely enjoyed the family drama and Tammy's calculative dating life! This was just as entertaining to watch as your first 100 days video! I know these long videos take a lot of time and effort to create, but if you continue the series with a 300 days video, I'll definitely be here to watch it - your scripts for these are simply the best, and I sincerely love it! Thanks again for another fantastic video!!!
12 minutes into the video and loving it Josh. Thank you. PS - on blood moon night, go to the docks at 8PM and a special someone will give you a quest to help 2 ghosts find missing items for a prize!
You know, something they could add is having the villagers nicknaming you from doing stuff in town. For example if you where gifting everyone you would be called Josh the Generous, if you went a lot to the witch hut you get called Josh the Witch, if you drink too much you would be Josh the Drunkard, or if you sick anywhere from eating spoiled food too many times you would be Josh the Sickly, if you read a lot of books you get called Josh the Scholar, if you lose too many husbands/wives in a row you get called Josh the Black Widow... So many possibilities. Also it would be nice to celebrate birthdays too.
Man, idk if you've tried the curse option later, but it can have insane consequences ToT. When I met the witches it was winter and i had 2 kids, so cursing one of the hateful villagers seemed like a great idea.... WRONG. They gave emory consumption for the curse, who then spread it to the entire town and my family. All in all i had caused 14 deaths do to my little whoopsie, which broke my lucky streak as i hadnt had any big breakouts until then Dx oh and most the villagers who died were my friends :') farewell to the entire family line of rowland, the hunters, and the whitfields 🥴
I downloaded a family tree app to keep track of my family and their extended family, only to end up putting every single villager into it. It was interesting to see how everyone were connected, though it ended up revealing a few wedded cousins... 👀
I also have zero cooking experience in Echoes of the Plum Grove (finishing up my 1st gen), and I'm so glad I was able to snag a baker's apprenticeship for my heir after seeing Tammy's skills.
Thank you for the video Josh. About the ending, this is one mechanic that I hate on farming games, the "museum", when did we changed from "farming" to "collecting" game? Played Sun haven and was happy I could ignore the museum, just to find another "gifting altars" at the end T_T. Coral island is all about collecting things too. Roots of Pacha was the best one because the Tree would grow with achievements instead of just collecting.
I get it! Personally though, I love the collecting aspect! It gives a bit more of an objective or something to work towards. In this game the main difference is you don't have to donate every single item. For example, you can donate the same type of item over and over again, as long as it's gold star quality.
Honestly, I am in agreement with you on the collecting aspect. For as much as I'm glad a lot of people like that sort of thing, I'm relieved that I'm not the only one who dislikes it. It's the thing I dislike most in games like this: Animal Crossing and Sun Haven especially. I found Stardew to not be too bad, once you get access to the sewers you can ignore it unless you want the stardrop. But I don't like the pressure of having to get those done. I will say though, I don't mind it as much in Echoes of the Plum Grove. I do agree with Josh though that I wish there was a little something more. Even just a visual difference in the whole map vs just one area you rarely visit.
I believe you can usually just ignore that with no consequences. Think of it as an optional side quest. I do wish something substantial would happen if you completed it. I was thinking of a silly idea yesterday where you are "gifted" a demon-possessed farm. The demons come out every night to try and kill you Berserk style. I considered needing to perform some kind of ritual to revive the Harvest Goddess and thus drive away the demons for good and bless the land. Would something like that be better?
@@nidohime6233 something like the community center. Each game treats it differently, but I've seen it more like a Museum than a community center, but I guess that just the games I play. When it's optional, I don't care, I'd probably even collect some depending on the rewards, but when it's mandatory it's another thing. I usually dislike the fishing minigame and then I'm bound to do them.
Checking out the docks on a blood moon with a couple notes on your person will reveal what they are for and the sleeping potion bug has now been fixed. Hope this helps! Thanks for the Video! :)
I'm so happy to have a second video in this format! Echoes of the Plum Grove meshes really well with the "100 Days" style videos. And I like how you executed it, Josh! I absolutely understand not doing this all the time, of course. But this was a lot of fun and I appreciated it! And it's your fault that I'm super hooked on this game! XD It's so good! Although I'm still reeling, some jerk with smallpox showed up on a ship, attended market, and I lost almost half my town to it. I have no farmers at all right now to buy seeds from. XD And yet somehow it still works with the whimsical art style! XD It boggles the mind! This game is too good. XD
58:18 Living the American dream but only the upper left side of the farm! I'm deaaadddd!!! My jaw dropped when you divorced Dwayne and married the other sibling hahaha 😂 This channel is serving us another great movie! Thanks! Can't wait for more 100 days videos! (Edit: I vote for Dave Pace! I want to know what would be the perks of marrying a mayor!! 🤑)
I wish that once you enter the portal you'll be in a hidden room where the two developers avatar congratulate you or what ever. Just like pokemon black and white. Congrats Josh this is a wonderful game and if it's available on the switch I will play this.
I enjoyed this so much! I really like how you didn't just play the game but also told a story. Hopefully we'll see more videos like this. Maybe 100 days in Immortal Life? Even though you already played it it would be interesting to watch.
"let's make even more drama" that line killed me xD I'm definitely getting the game now. Was waiting until some bugs got fixed but the town and relationship dynamics seem top tier!
There's a ghost ship at the docks on a blood moon were you Need two of those papers you get from other ghosts quests to complete the ghost pirates quest.
Super obsessed with this game and love all your videos on it! Definitely awesome to see how 200 days of plum grove might go. I first heard about it from your channel, so thank you for making videos about it!
awesome series, wasn't expecting to get pulled into this so much. seeing the game progress through generations is engaging in a way even rune factory can't really do.
I'm so happy I could watch these back to back, just incredible heh I scared my cat multiple times cackling at some of your comments, just great. So much beautiful drama LOL Absolutely love the rainbow and goth goats hehe I'll definitely be snagging this game, though I do hope the devs will consider the things you've mentioned on the family dynamics and npc dialogue. I can't imagine the work that goes into these but would be ecstatic for a 300 days addition sometime!
"They all waited to die on the same day" "These goats were the GOATS" "Should I give it back to her?" - death cake "She was getting married for...the third time. I didn't attend" just some of the amazing one liners in this LOLLL
Idk if you found out the blood moon thing yet, but on my sessions, I found out on the second blood moon that there's a ghost ship on the pier that is giving quest for the notes from the other wandering ghost
I have asked both William and Jack on a date and they both turned me down. Then I tried again with both of them and they both went on a date with me and both rejected the proposals 💀 so I married rowland lol
I loved these videos! ❤ They were so much fun to watch. I know you said you weren't planning on a 300 days video, but I would really look forward to it if you did! Long live the Turnips! ❤
this game is literally so bad. also it shouldn't be called as a "farming simulator" because the farming system in this game is also equally bad, almost non-existent.

I still think that it should be mandatory to be able to craft/cook from the chests!!!
Yeah, I hate it when you can't do that it games. It just gives that extra bit of annoyance.
I really enjoyed this series. Your garden looks amazing! Well done Josh!

Great video Josh! Can tell a lot of effort went into this one

"Tammy was born for this." Yay for cooking skill perks!

I like how you can't move chests and ice boxes that are full but a WHOLE ASS HOUSE WITH STUFF IN IT? No biggie! :D
There's a ghost ship at the docks on a blood moon were you Need two of those papers you get from other ghosts quests to complete the ghost pirates quest.
There's also a blood moon exclusive fish in the mines.
Love it, watched few times. It replaces me podcast or audiobook and like listening to the cool fairytale or story
"so i went to the inn, i insulted duane like i did everyday. 🤣🤣🤣

I had bought this game impulsively after Josh's first 100 days video 😅. I love the game but would definitely hope the dev add auto sorting function.
Yes, the inventory management is be a bit of a pain. 😭
I'm so happy I could watch these back to back, just incredible heh I scared my cat multiple times cackling at some of your comments, just great. So much beautiful drama LOL

"Our relationship was doing pretty good."
MEANWHILE: "Whatchu want?"
Thanks for the next 100 days! Love it.
any chance of a 300 days episode? love watching you play this game! :)
This is so much work, and it was so fun to watch thanks Josh!
Thank you for making this. All the eligible bachelors died in Spring Year 1 during my current play. Pretty annoying.
I’ve never even heard of buckwheat flour but can’t wait to try it after seeing your video!
Loved the video and all the drama. Thanks so much for all your hardwork and always keeping us entertained. Long live the turnip family
This was so fun to watch on my big tv! Tammy looks so cute.. I want that hat 👀 Excited to see ur next 100 Days game hehe
28:28 after losing both Leo and William back to back, I think it’s safe to say Josh Turnip died of a broken heart 💔
not the drama on day 134 lol and omg they have rainbow animals! 😱
Loved this video. I need to play this game more. I just finished my first year. I have more tips now thanks to you.
"They all waited to die on the same day"
"These goats were the GOATS"
"Should I give it back to her?" - death cake
"She was getting married for...the third time. I didn't attend"
just some of the amazing one liners in this LOLLL
this game is brutal...
Okay I am convinced and will have to buy this
living for the drama of divorcing the husband and then getting with his sister LOL
Idk if you found out the blood moon thing yet, but on my sessions, I found out on the second blood moon that there's a ghost ship on the pier that is giving quest for the notes from the other wandering ghost
I love these videos! Keep up the great work!

How to rotate buildings?
You can ask the carpenter to move a building for free, but there is no way to rotate them!
Regular furniture can be rotated with R on the keyboard.
Your dad died? That sucks, have fully watered crops
