It's not, which is a shame.. As our plans include going to the alps in the winter, so diesel would be better - but it does hold twice the gas that ours does. It better have central locking that works on the back doors though, if you have to lock it manually your channel just won’t be the same… All good here thanks, we had Christmas in Singapore and wife plus daughter must have got the flu on the plane home as two days later they were in a bad way which lasted a couple of weeks, I’ve never made so many cups of Lemsip :) Hope you’re over it now.

Did take awhile for my wife - clearly woman flu is a much more serious problem than the typically more common man flu 🤒 Good luck on the van pondering, never a simple one. We’ve had four over the years with the biggest being great when parked up and living in it but wasn’t ideal on narrow country lanes. The VW camper I have now is much more daily usable but I wouldn’t want to camp up in it with wife, two (now full size) kids and a chunky Labrador all on board. Tip insulate your roof windows at night with cut kingspan wrapped in foil insulation. It helps keep heat in and cold out. It also helps in those very windy weather situations.
Whoops . No it’s not . Thats a surface water drain and grey waste should not be emptied down it . Living in Shropshire and a Telford & Wrekin there are strict rules on water disposal and not polluting water courses . I lived on farm for 20 years and council were hot on checking my septic tanks and surface water soak ways . Water from street drains goes to local streams /rivers into the Severn . So grey waste pollutes our rivers .
We have just checked online and realised we weren't supposed to do that. We had no idea! Thank you for letting us know; we will ensure we never do this again. Lesson learned 🙏
And that's why I will not EVER have a van without a diesel heater. I definitely wouldn't have one with underslung gas tanks. I have never been to a fuel station that doesn't sell diesel and can't remember the last time I seen a LPG pump. Plus most stations are either giving up the pumps in favour of much more profitable EV charging points or already have done so. Why manufacturers are still building with tanks is beyond me. Bailey's first venture into building campervans ( the ENDEAVOUR ) has the truma diesel/electric for heating and hot water so much better for off grid. You cannot run the tank dry either. Also if you have an all in one or a separate tank it's quite legal to run off cheaper red diesel. Take note elddis/swift and all the other mainstream builders !!

Personally I don’t see the problem it’s only water and a bit of soap, if you wash your vehicle in the street that soapy water goes down the drain.

Yeah diesel heaters are definitely the way to go. We aren't keen on the underslung ones either - the closest refill point to us is over 50 miles away!
