    Great video guys. You ticked all the boxes that commercial van drivers want to know.
    We install solar panels and Tesla Powerwall batteries for our clients and are making the move the electric vans for our fleet.
    Videos like this will help others make the same move - keep it up 👍

    Hah! Used to work at the old railway station offices round the corner from where you were reviewing this half way through the video.
    Ah the memories.

    I believe this yoke will be the first brand new vehicle il purchase... Time to do some money maths!

      Wow, great to hear Jim! Make sure you take it for a test drive, and fully explore its performance in the real world...a commercial vehicle really has to perform as you need it! Great van though, and delighted to hear you're considering it!

      @@BestElectricVehicle Indeed I will, it has passed the theory test, however the practical exam are the results that matter 👌

      Hopefully a few companies catch this review and have a more serious think about electric for their fleet! Thanks fot the comment!

    Looks good. Albeit a black grill trim or just white would suit better I think. They are persistent in not being a Transit body. I'm still in doubt 😁 Going to look at one tomorrow. Building a campervan of it is my goal. What was the consumption on it?

      Good shout on the trim Jeff! WLTP is 185 miles from the 88kWh battery. But in testing we were doing better than the advised figures. Best of luck with the campervan conversion!

    As someone who is in the market for a electric van to convert to a campervan, this one is number one on my list of options at the moment. Similar to the Ford Transit, slightly larger than the VW transporter. Has to be a good option right?

    The only problem I have with all EV's is that they only have a charging point at the front of the viechle which is not good when I prefer to reverse into parking spaces.

    • @BestElectricVehicle
      @BestElectricVehicle  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Matthew, plenty of EVs have their charging ports towards the back. Many can be reached with the cable even if you do reverse in. Hopefully it doesn't put you off going electric! Thanks for the comment!

    • @nzzenith
      @nzzenith ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah should be side middle for front and reverse parking. Need long cords

    All well and good but you didn't load the van what's range like then

    • @BestElectricVehicle
      @BestElectricVehicle  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely less, but drop in range will depend on what's in the van, what type of driving, etc. Good idea for another video though! Thanks for the comment!

    Just noticed how many diesel taxis zoomed down the bus lane, and our electric van has to stay in the ice lane’s. Nice

      @BestElectricVehicle  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Let's hope those diesels are replaced by electric sooner rather than later! Thanks Richard!

    Pointless testing empty vans.Need to be fully loaded,and simulate real life.Hills,stop/start,longer jouneys.,lights on,wipers,heated etc.Bet real range is nowhere near the quoted range. Saw a recent test,can indicated 150 miles available,but only did 90miles,and that was empty.

    Diesel engines are far more cleaner and afficient these days and only dependent on fuel and not the national grid...
    I don't think nothing in place to serve electric vehicles in this world yet.
    So buy a petrol generator just incase

    • @BestElectricVehicle
      @BestElectricVehicle  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Dave. They may be cleaner now than they used to be... but they're still extremely polluting and damaging to people's health. They always will be. Although not perfect, EVs are a far better and cleaner way forward. p.s. the fuel you're using also depends on a grid to refine and pump at stations. Thanks for your comment...although we disagree, it's great to see respectful discussion!

      Nope just Irish rail. Grey yokes haul freight, maintenance wagons and recover other failed trains.
      Sales team may as well share a right hand drive van between neighbouring countries that require right hand drive vehicles 👌
