I took the audio directly from the film (particularly where Chugs was about to pull his first train shortly after being repainted) then I extracted the audio, and then edit a ton to make it sound smooth. I might’ve slowed down the audio, but I don’t remember.
I just used a small clip from the film (the one where the queen plans to stop Chugs and before his train departs) if I remember correctly. I might’ve also done some speed and pitch adjusting while using both iMovie & Audacity.

I accept some requests, but only real whistles and horns, but I deny requests if they are fake, like using “BNSF #3945 SG-12 with a T-Rex Roar for a whistle,” no way am I ever doing that. Note: The “T-Rex SG-12” name is what I came up with. I also like to choose which whistles or horns I would like to make for Trainz.

I actually used two programs:
1) iMovie, my primary video editing software
2) Audacity, which is what I use mostly for audio editing.
