Apparently, the whistle sound you hear in this video did not actually originate from the previously mentioned 4455, but rather from another GS class steam locomotive, numbered 4445.

Yeah, it’s better to watch from the distance, but not when you’re in close proximity of the locomotive’s front end.

A break? I don’t think I would call it that, but more like a “post a video whenever I like” kind of scenario. That is, whenever I’m not too busy with stuff outside of TH-cam. You know, college, family chores, etc.

I never even said that the sound effect originated from the FWRR 2248. I only stated that the whistle which was used on one of its excursions (infamously known to be sampled for Trainz Simulator) was the same type, a Star Brass/SP Desert 5 chime whistle. I never even said which locomotive it was, and to believe the opposite of what I said is an atrocity and such rumors should never have been spread in the first place.

First of all, it’s spelt “Medal,” not “Medel.” And second of all, what medal should I win for this I mean there’s no point. And third, the use of the party emoji is unnecessary.

1) It’s spelt CAB forward, not CAN forward. 2) It’s not a Daylight train. That was an ordinary steam powered commuter train from the 1940s. 3) The whistle was from P-8 class 4-6-2 #2475, one of #2472’s sister engines. I can’t tell you where I got them from so that way I can hopefully avoid being raided by anyone asking “where did you get this from?”

No those were Amtrak F40PH diesel locomotives which shape-shifted into a freight train.

That was from one of Hopewell Productions’ videos covering the footage of the 4449 & 844(4) heading down to LA back in 1989. In part of that video “Steam to Los Angeles (same title as Pentrex but these guys are not Pentrex) where the 4449 departs Salinas CA before making a stop at San Luis Obispo. The film crew was pacing along side the 4449 with her screaming 6 chime sounding off and BOY what a sound! It’s no coincidence that another film crew just a few cars ahead (Mark 1 Video’s film crew) was pacing the same train on Highway 101. Two different crews pacing the same train?! Talk about a double bundle! If only Hopewell’s videos are still available. It sucks that none of these videos are available for public viewing. What a crying shame.

If you have enough money, then go purchase your own at Paulz Trainz’s website. Everything on that site is payware. But they will not look like how it does in my video. That’s because it’s a private reskin done by me.
