You can’t unless if I had some expertise on how I can add the secondary whistle on locomotives which don’t include it by default. However, what I do know is that you can check your driver settings where if you scroll down to where it says “secondary whistle/horn” select whatever key on your keyboard as the default controls for you to sound off the secondary whistle. As for adding a secondary whistle on an asset, open up the kuid on any locomotive (regardless on who created what loco) and scroll to the bottom where you see “whistle” at the bottom and copy/paste the new kuid number over the old one. You can only do this on any locomotive which already has a secondary whistle option (K&L’s CN S1b & NKP Berkshires for example) but not any of the Daylight locomotives by Trainz Forge. The ones I have in this video are private modded versions which I can’t give out for legal reasons. I wish I knew how to work on this scripting for this sort of thing, but I’m not the expert here. If I were you, I’d suggest you should stick with the primary whistle assets if you want to use my whistles the easy way. For the air horns, I’d suggest you should 1) use the primary versions of said horn, and 2) duplicate whatever GS class locomotive you choose, then 3) open up the config and get rid of the whistle steam effect by deleting it, and submit the changes. That way you can use the air horns without having to use the secondary whistle option.

Well technically these sounds are real SFX. But I don’t think you understand what I was trying to do or what the process is when I make these videos. So allow me to elaborate. First, I take whatever sound effect from either YT or from a third party website (such as SoundDogs, Freesound, etc) and listen closely to what’s going on in said sound effect before using it. Second, with whatever video game I have (say Trainz Railroad Simulator 2022 for example) and with my imagination (didn’t mean to brag but hear me out) recreate the scene on a scratch-built route using the game’s surveyor (or whatever route I have downloaded previously like the Cajon Pass route for example) and try my best to create what certain trains must’ve looked like (at least based on my knowledge) when certain sounds were recorded. Just like how I edit the sounds in my “How These Trains Should’ve Sounded” video series which I made for quite some time. Still better than most Hollywood sound editors, that’s for sure.

@Razinzayyancroniezx Now that I think about it, I could give it a shot. But only one exception, to use at least one sound effect of the 3254 since the other ones are just smaller samples. Too small for me to recreate in a similar style like how I usually make them in a duration of 30 seconds or more.

Last time I checked, one of my stations from the map I was working on suddenly became less detailed, almost like something from a 1990s CGI video.

First of all, what you said about me being sarcastic, I forgive you for it. I mean it happens all the time. Second, I have been showered with requests for future Trainz whistles, so I’ve been pretty busy with those. Third, I don’t normally make any Top 5 videos as a sort of trend or whatever since I don’t have any interests in doing so. And by favorites, are you referring to the ones like NKP 765 and ATSF 3751 and other runbys like that? Yeah, I might be interested in making those videos in the future.

So, about that whistle. At first I was gonna say it might’ve originated from SOO Line 1003, but when it stopped blowing it sounded a bit off. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say it might’ve been recreated using a synthesizer or something idk. As for the whistle requests, I have one of the 6988’s whistles ready for editing, but it will be very slow going since I don’t want to risk overloading my computer’s storage.

@@T128Productions So i basically heard of this movie called Fast Five, and there was a train heist scene in the movie, if you hadn’t seen it. However, the train in this was led by a P42DC Locomotive and watch dubbed with a Nathan P3 rather than a K5LA. So i was hoping if you can fix that in your Next HTTSHS Video.

@darkblueparamount2008 Probably not since I couldn’t find any close up shots of the entire train passing by without having to include unnecessary stunt scenes from that movie. Even if I did, chances are that certain shots would be too short in duration for me to use it. There were even some videos where you can read the subtitles. Those videos I can’t accept for obvious reasons.

What can I say? I had to end the video with a blast.

Hopefully TH-cam didn’t delete the 03 1010 comment for IRL 9000 chuff sfx, if it was deleted I’m gonna not be happy, every link I send’s being deleted while I’m trying to help add realistic sounds through video links of train chuffs and whistles

I’m trying to help you make a properly timed 9000 chuffing sfx, instead of it being a 123-123-123 beat, it’s supposed to sound like 1-2-3-1-2-3-1-2-3-1-2-3. Example of improper: lionel legacy greyhound 9000. Example of proper: I’M TRYING TO HELP MAKE IT REALITY BUT I COULD GO CRAZY! AAAAAAAAAA-*<DED!>*

@Hecker332 I don’t know how to make it perfectly timed, but I do know that there is an asset you can download from the North American Locomotive Works website (NALW) which might at least make the 9000 class locomotive sound better. As for the timing, I hate to say it, but it’s way too complicated for me to explain this to you, so I guess you can just ask someone else if they might know.

That wasn’t the 844, that was the 801. Look closely and there is no 44 in the locomotive’s number. Only the 01.

Probably not since my schedule is very complicated, since I might have tons of school work to do, and my computer is crammed with tons of storage.

That was a weird glitch I didn’t notice at the time I was making this video. I was trying to figure out the problem, but I was running out of storage. When that situation was sorted out, while reinstalling all the stuff I had, and after installing the 4-10-2, the coupler came back somehow.

For your information, I actually have two Harriman style coaches (which the SP used to have in the early 20th Century) and an observation car. The supposed “third coach” of the old Harriman style cars. I couldn’t find any proper SP observation cars anywhere so I was able to make one up. Another thing, I don’t know what an AU is, but I don’t think I want to get involved.

Yes, for Trainz 2019 there are no bugs (so far) but for Trainz 2022, sadly yes. Two different games which are both updated to SP5, but have different results.

Several Reports have been made on the Trains Official Discord and they have been made aware of a lot of these issues
