MY STORY OF STARTING A COMPANY AT 21

- I started my own company when I was 21. I was a student and I borrowed $300 from my parents to register an LLC. 5 years later we raised money from American investors and built an international platform for booking study trips - bit.ly/2g1l8FT
Here is how everything happened:
2011 - started our company, no money and just 3 clients during this year. Built our basic website, dealt with misunderstanding from relatives and friends
2012 - business is growing! I have to do most of the things myslef. Rented a table in a coworking space. WOW!!!
2013 - company is growing really well, we decide to bring operation online. At the same time we realize that the market is going down and we can only hire developers part time
2014 - WE ARE ALMOST BROKE! New platform 'eats' all our profits, my cofounder finds a different job so we can use his salary to pay our employees. I live on $100 a month, stay at my parents place. Maybe I should go and find a job after all?
2015 - I get accepted to an MBA program with a full scholarship and have to DECLINE becasue we get $100,000 onvestment from a VC in the USA!! WOHOO we move to the States!
2016 - got a US work visa, company is growing, we serve customers from 50+ countries!

I admire your strong hearted for establishing your own company. Many businesses starts that way like what you experienced. All problems are there. Wow... I'm so thankful to have stumbled upon your videos accidentally. I'm learning so much from you and you're reviving the fire in me that died down. I've tried to set up businesses but objections and rejections teared me down, over and over. Been depressed for 2 yrs now and I just let go of all of my dreams. Somehow I ended up believing those people who told me "it's shoot in the moon" because no one would invest.

Your video is inspirational and very true. I have started several companies and your story (about the difficulties in getting things going at first and surviving financially) is so similar in many ways. It is tough at first but if you stick it out, it is so worth it. Never give up and stay positive. I'm American but my fiancée is Russian so it was really interesting to see how another Russian woman lives in the US. Hi Marina, I discovered your channel 2 days ago but I’ve already watched a lot of your videos because I like the way you do videos and the spontaneity you have during them. I’ve just checked out your website and I would like to suggest you a thing in order to improve it and reach more people: you should translate your website in the more language is it possible.
I know that it can sounds obvious but if I’m Italian (how I actually am) and I’m learning English, it means I struggle with english so I wouldn’t like to book my language trip on a website which is not 100% clear for me (because it’s written in a language I struggle whit).
