I must admit, I was only vaguely interested in checking this cartoon out. I love me some Batman but we have gotten SO MANY DIFFERENT KINDS over the years that I’m half tuned out. Admittedly I am a Marvel/X-men guy more than anything else. BUT you totally got me excited about this. Thank you for the video and information.
I'm hoping this as good as X-Men 97 But I'm open to a weird 40s inspired Batman animated series that surprises me like BTAS did for me as a kid . I know thjs show has been hyped up so much and right now I'm still feeling the big hype i have from X-Men 97 😃 I hope this show doesn't use the Joker because I'm tired of seeing him & Batman get into dumb stupid Frank Miller All Star Batman madness & hyper violence just to be Edgelords & a depression fest I can't stand. I feel like the last Batman things i enjoyed was Brave and the Bold & the Batman 04 . Now i have enjoyed watching invincible a little bit because it feels like a story & heart and i like the Soap Opera drama .
what i enjoy most about it is that from episode one it appears to be a creative endeavor. No rehashed plots, not a continuation, but a genuine reimagining with a similar but modern art style. The character designs i understand might feel more relatable to current day audience, and the changes seemed unnecessary at first, but as it went on i could see that the general essence is still maintained with the characters only interpreted differently...im holding my impression till i watch the rest but I found the first episode reminiscent of BTAS. missing the iconic soundtrack though.

It noir not Miller. It's quite good.
X-men 97 is miles better. That show is actually made for the fans of the franchise

the moment I saw gender swapped penguin I lost interest... it just looks dumb.
It's not dumb. It quite good
Brainiac queen exist in the comics so why not have a female penguin
Because he's not a woman.
No, it just looks dumb
