@@retrobit5973 I think it was super fitting. This was a man who used to only care about what was best for him. He went to great lengths to survive and chase his dreams without any regard for others but through multiple hard lessons and tragedies he was able to start fighting for something greater. In the end he died defending his family as a noble and honorable warrior. A far cry from the man he started out as. His character arc came full circle and it fed really nicely into Haytham's story.

When you think about it, the Assassins are Ezio's family, the only family he's ever known, even when he didn't know.
Not to mention he became the apex of what everyone before and after him strived for
Edward Powell and in this pic he was put in between the crowds he should have been placed in the middle instead of Edward Kenway. Ezio is the master Assassin himself. He started the Assassin brotherhood.

They believe that humanity are best to be guided by that truth, hence "May the Father of understanding guide us", which of course is impossible. This is proven by the fact of how they have treated that truth as something undefined, until they declared it otherwise, just to be redefined as undefined later and returned to status quo.
An absolute truth is unknown. It may or may not exist to be known. If an absolute truth is considered as nothing by everyone, then nobody consider it as something, which eventually result to an absolute ignorance. If an absolute truth is considered as something by everyone, then nobody consider it as nothing, which eventually nullify the purposes of a free will. This means that a free will may exist, but it is not meant to recognize truths as something nor nothing. This can be proven simply by judging from our own ways of identifying them. Each of us has a free will to recognize truths on our own, which is why we permit ourselves to do anything to recognize them. We have come to realization that an abusement of free will lead to chaos, but without it, we never know what freedom is, therefore throughout the time, we limit our own free will, regardless of whether a concept of a free will may or may not be a delusion by itself, hence "Nothing is true, everything is permitted". An ideology made by what Assassins believe in. Don't believe me? Then that's your responsibility. Not the absolute truth that you may or may not believe in.

Ezio’s Family music and Kenway music gives *GoOsEbUmPs* to me, especially how the ending varies between them, mixing them up at the same time into one MASTERPIECE. I think the mix of Ezio’s (Auditore) family and Kenway family themes should be the anthem of the series. Why?
1st. Both Kenways and Auditores are families with multiple generations taking part in the war between Assassins and Templars. Giovanni Auditore was assassin. Mario Auditore was assassin. Ezio Auditore was assassin. Edward Kenway was assassin. Haytham Kenway was templar. Connor Kenway was assassin. These if not more of Kenways and Auditores took part in the conflict, their families having HUGE impact on the history.
2.Ezio Auditore and Connor Kenway resemble eachother to me. Both we’re hyperactive, risk-loving young boys and teens. Both witnessed their family being killed, had to flee their home because of other people actions while being innocent. Both lost people they loved and considered friends. Ezio had to kill a good friend of the family who turned out to be a Templar after betraying them. Connor had to kill his own father, who was a Templar. Ezio restored the glory of Monterigionni, Connor restored the glory of Davenport Estate. Finally, both became two of the most respected master Assassins in history, Ezio restored the glory of the Italian assassins (I don’t count Ottoman assassins, cause they weren’t weak in the first place), Connor restored the glory of American assassins. Ezio destroyed the Borgias who had mass control over Europe. Connor destroyed American Templars who had mass control over colonies in North America.

A fitting homage to a game series that taught us history (with some embellishment) holds some amazing stories. AC is a habit I can't seem to kick.
Yeah turns out that AC2 made me learn that Leonardo Da Vinci may have been gay and that is fascinating to learn.

So true, I've just started watching Constantine again and so much of Edward Kenway's sensibilities and characters just slip out of his character. No matter what Matt Ryan does he will always be Edward Kenway.

@binotalent They kind of explain why that is in the letter that you get from Reda in AC Valhalla, after finding all the Hidden One Codex Pages. Bayek remained anonymous on purpose, specifically because he *didn't* want to be referred or worshiped by future generations of Hidden Ones.

These games made me so passionate about history that I'm actually considering getting my Doctorate one day.
keep note that the assassins were only in the middle east. they were called hashashins and they were fighting against sultans or kings. other than that, everything is fantasy in the AC series

Man, this takes me back. I remember being hyped for every new release (eventhough I was too broke to keep up) and respecting Ubisoft as a company. Oh how times have changed.
That AC3 theme coming was awesome, especially how it led into the finale
It’s freaking bad “donkey” both times AC III music is used and it’s definitely my fav game in the franchise for sure. I get goosebumps when the Main Theme variation kicks in earlier in the video when Haytham reaches the crows nest and then immediately afterwards; the seamless transition to Shay walking slowly towards us and removing his hood like a freaking boss.
I don’t know if anyone else hears it but the AC Rogue main theme is being played along with the Variation which perfectly showcases how similar the Ezio’s Family ambience is throughout the games. It’s actually amazing how well the two themes mesh together and I think it gives the Variation a whole new level of awesomeness (even though it’s already awesome in its own right lol!) It makes me so proud to be a part of the AC Community and here’s to all Assassin’s Creed fans…past, present, and future!
