It would be cool to mod the base game to have a top down POV camera and RTS unit selection and orders system with some custom maps. It'd only be possible to run on beefed up PCs, but it'd be well worth the investment.
I like to imagine a combat patrol of guardsmen luring the Tyranids to the a gathered Chaos, then watching above them, cheering, placing bets for rations before setting explosives to the buildings and burying the remaining faction
I like the look of the Scarab Occult Terminators, Using Pattern Tartar Armor, the ones that are melee are very difficult with the Khopesh (Egyptian sword). It looks like the High Fleet Kronos, a Trynant cell created for the purpose of facing creatures of chaos. A funny thing is that the Trynants don't face chaos because they don't have many resources for them, so they stay well away from the eye of terror but if a world they care about is being attacked by chaos or a confrontation with chaos is inevitable, they call the High Fleet Kronos.
Yea Tyranids in the game are clearly weaker compared to the Tzeentch Chaos. But again we are just talking about this cycle of adding bigger enemies/swarms on each side and it is never ending. Obviously, the Chaos will have some counter to the Hive Fleet Kronos as well.
Equal fights with tyranids aren't actually equal at all, because they are way weaker in general, there should be either a lot more of them than their enemy or some OP monster among them, so it's close to canon
I was thinking the same, Tyranids are not strong individuals, they are strong in numbers, they win because of the huge amount of monsters jumping all at once at you
Just removing the spore mines alone would improve their performance since like half of their gaunts are getting wiped out by traitor guard right at the start because of them
Perhaps try to keep the camera more still in the future. It is very jarring to watch when it is constantly moving around. I'd recommend some wider, zoomed out shots if possible. It really does the spectacle a disservice when a good portion is happening off screen. You don't always have to have the camera in motion. There are some other popular Battle Sim channels you can study to see how they use the camera. This battlefield is a bit more challenging due to it being a tighter corridor for the forces fighting though. I did like you capturing the 1v1 being the Whip Tyranid and the Chaos Marine. That was sick.
One of my favourite bits of 40k lore is that many or even most Chaos Space Marines still despise xenos just as much as they ever did. Most of them are veterans of the Great Crusade, after all. And hating the Imperium doesn't mean they don't *also* still hate anything that isn't human.
Fun fact, the tyranids don’t like fighting chaos as they (usually) don’t offer much in the way of biomass, however as these are heretic astartes and not pure demons they may be more interested.
Hive Fleet Kronos is the specialized fleet used for dealing with Chaos. Having a stronger Shadow in the Warp affect and heavy preference for ranged bioforms. What's most interesting is that unlike any other time when two diffrent hive fleets meet which ends in a battle were on consumes the other. When Kronos is encountered by other hive fleets they will actively aid Kronos by intentionally weakening the defenses of nearby worlds and allowing Kronos to consume the biomass.
@rareshippingbird4356 I believe its the necrons they hate fighting completely as their weapons can disintegrate on a molecular level im maynot be 100% correct
This would be an absolutely amazing CPU benchmark, wish this was something in-game, it'd certainly be used a lot for this purpose by all sorts of reviewers.
Leviathan : we were beaten!! Call Kronos!! Kronos fleet arrive and engulfed the planet with their shadow in the warp (Kronos's shadow is stronger than normal hive fleet and is specifically designed to counter Warp entities)
Fun fact the thousand sons have noticed it in their codex most specifically the warband the prophet of change . They are currently sacrificing millions of slaves to make a ritual that will take away Kronos connection with the hive mind and the shadow in the warp
you gotta practice a bit on the camera work, maybe keeping it a bit more fixed so we could see the action from a wider angle? Nice fight tho, pretty amazing to see how the game handles in of itself
Is there some kind of strange bug where the larger enemies just keep reviving if they don’t get executed? It just looked like the carnifex health bar was bouncing back and forth and he came back after being executable like 3 times.
He explained in another video: the game isn't made to have multiple bosses together, so the health bars get mixed up. The health bar wasn't bouncing, it was getting occasionaly replaced on top of the screen by the Helbrute's bar. But indeed, if the execution isn't done, the thing comes back for more...
It's not that the Tzeentch had a lack of counter to the NT, the AI just isn't designed to be coordinated to focus their ranged attacks on the NT, and jump it when it's low on the ground with melee.
I would've thought venom cannons would be great but i suppose with their wonky targeting and the dying state preventing one shots devourers would actually be better.
If helldivers taight me anything, no matter how big and scary the giant space bug, the army with gubs and missiles will always be scarier. Now you see why most casuals prefer fighting tyrranids in and terminids in either game.
The fact that the Hellbrute or most melee attacks in this game can't target flying enemies well surely doesn't help anything either. I share his frustration.
OMG GIVE ME A GAME LIKE THIS TO PLAY WITH EVERY 40K FACTION but its like space marine 2 and vermintide and i would be a fan of that gave for LIFE!. would be so cool to be a hero or space marine just going in fighting these factions and unique enemy's with your units.

Ya, how many points do you reckon this was? :D
Unsurprisingly, those terminators are casually changing the way the blood flows of anything in their path.
You've achieved what DOW3 was expected but failed to feature. Well done.
The gaunts open the armor of the rubric marines and only get sand. 😢
"I don't like sand..."😂

To be frank, if it were lore accurate, _anything_ Chaos related would either be heavily nerfed or just not present because of the Shadow in the Warp.
Sounds like some one salty
@@adigicocs8855 I literally said that it's lore accurate.

Down of War 4 looking good....
The lictor should have prioratised the sorcerer! What a blunder

4:50 Chaos denying the tyranids biomass. We love to see it.
Cool, but chill with the camera lol.
It’s all fun and games until ranged enemies show up

Try a ton of Guardsman (only) vs tyranids gaunts and warriors.

this is how the next dawn of war should be
They should have put a duel between Helbrute and Carnifex into one of the levels, like that one original Doom level
would love to see Imura vs HT one v one
I'm still somewhat sad how little we got from the Chaos enemies. I was hoping to see more actual demons like the giant bird,
Big Bosses is basically scripted in many games and don't have ai , just some moves doing in rotations. I think here bird and dragons are same
The greater demon would be too much but flamers and rays would be cool
We do fight a lord of change. We see a lord of change a lot
How do you do these?
Spore mines do more friendly damage than anything at the start of each fight lol
In M..M..my day H….Hellbrutes had ra….ra….ranged attacks
How did you spawn npcs?

2 terminators is too much, it needs more raveners or liktors to counter them, and even more tyranid rangers
