    In case of Dessau International Architecture Graduate School (DIA) you mentioned that your wife got admitted the same year she finished her bachelors degree. The requirement for the course says that it requires a minimum of 12 months working experience after graduation. Was the requirement not applicable at that time or is it not really mandatory?

      Nope.
      If the portfolio is better (Exceptions are always there)
      Quality of Internship
      Motivation Letter
      You can get conditional admission and then u can present bachelor’s degree by Oct (during enrollment)

    What is the scope of construction project management in Germany?

    • @Wayoutwithus
      @Wayoutwithus  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Vibhuti. Thanks for your message! Well, construction management is also a booming profession here. For that, you would of course need to be personally very good at communication and organising stuff work-wise. And, doing that i Germany would mean, you would have to be very good at the German Language. As would be then dealing with a lot of German Projects, if you do not end up working on International Projects but only German Projects. Nonetheless, if you planning to stay here in Germany for a longer duration. This choice would make sense, otherwise, you would end up learning only the language most of the time, if you don't know it already and probably less about the profession. Well, At what current language level are you at the moment?

    • @Wayoutwithus
      @Wayoutwithus  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi. Not sure if we would do it. But in general, an individual needs extensive german language skill, which not only is going to be achieved by just learning german but rather require half a decade of experience interacting with german clients and so. So, its better to do that when you are planning to stay in germany for a very long period of time. Otherwise, you would be busy learning the tactful language rather than the profession itself. Sticking to basic architecture would still help you breathe in the long run. As in hindsight, if you switch countries , profession matters, but project management in germany is going to take up your effort & time for the language, like a lott! So, coming back to what i said, if its a lifetime plan in germany than its good, otherwise its a waste of effort if you would for some personal reason switch countries.

    • @Wayoutwithus
      @Wayoutwithus  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. Thanks for your message! Well, it depends, what kind of specific job title you are looking for. In general, if you are 1% better than an average student. It''s surely possible to get a job.
      It would only be a matter of few hundred euros in the beginning. Rest of the growth would come in proportion to your resilience at work. I know few people who have done this course, and they are doing fine in Arch. Offices , overall ! So, it is worth considering if you don't find other options, 'good enough' :)

    • @Wayoutwithus
      @Wayoutwithus  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      In this video, by job, I mean particularly the part-time job next to your studies in an architecture firm.
      All the other regular non-desk jobs are always easily possible anywhere in Germany, to balance your monthly expense during studies. But that might not add much value to your resume, of course !
      Anyway, It's easy to find a decent Architecture job after graduation as long as you don't aim for a number completely unrealistic for that particular place or office. Never underestimate higher education. It makes job life much easier, any day!

    How is ThOwl masters in Integrated design? whats your opinion about this course? It's located in Detmold. As a bachelors degree holder in Architecture, Would you suggest i do my masters in integrated design as I am interested in this. also what are the job possibilities after masters?

    • @Wayoutwithus
      @Wayoutwithus  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey. Thanks for your message. Well its a M.Eng,(Master of Engineering Degree)
      If you are interested in computational stuff, Grasshopper/Dynamo/BIM etc and other Ai related fields intrigue you. Then this course is good.
      Location is a bit problematic as u might not find part time architecture jobs next to studies.(maybe something at uni itself)
      Well for long-term pov, in germany, you would have to very unique and good in what you are doing as being an average architect could land you a job but being average after this specific degree could be difficult as u would be have to focus of multinational companies (less architecture,more engineering firms like ARUPetc) aiming to built or design facades.
      Which would mean, you would have to be fluent in german in order to proceed forward with it.
      In short,
      This would be different and unique so being average and putting in okayish efforts wouldn’t clearly be enough. Post degree Profile would need to far more stronger than an Architect’s profile in comparison. As you would be satisfying more Arch + Engineering firms.
      Btw look into LEED certification or LEED GA certifications, in general.
      Those professionals or individuals would be a more fit to this course and if you already have those two accreditations. Then probably this course is for you 😀

    • @Wayoutwithus
      @Wayoutwithus  ปีที่แล้ว

      Morever, if you would want to move back to your homecountry . Working in a small firm after this course would not make much sense and additionally if you dont like LEED GA etc accreditations rather stick to a generic masters and take those certifications which would add up a lot and ultimately you can still focus on all fields and other interests. (But if you feel, you are studious enough and can handle well digital fabrication, computational building design in Germany in german language softwares etc in big companies) This course would give you an edge over regular architects, for sure!!

    • @Wayoutwithus
      @Wayoutwithus  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Sneha. Well, what would be your defination for ''good enough' here? A decent job as an Architect, post-grduation? Surely possible ! A decent lifestyle? Surely possible. Moreover, if you aim to specifically niche yourself down to just heritage buildings. That would mean that you need to be fluent in german language, as at a later stage in life, down the line in few years, you would want to communicate with other reasearchers on site or so. If thats your end goal. Then this would be good enough for sure. Otherwise, of course it is possible that you study this course and still stick to building architecture, in general, in order to to show versatality during your job.

      To briefly answer your question. On average its a nice course. And furtherly, it really depends on what are u aiming at and where do you see yourself in few years. We would need to get some insight of your career timeline in order to understand and help you better to which course could fit your needs the best. So overall it a decent Masters course. Our advise would be to not just rely on 1 Uni. Apply at multiple courses , where you would think it would benefit you more in future.

    Hello please @wayoutwithus what do you think about the srh Heidelberg Architecture masters , I mean you talked about it but you were not really convinced by their program ! As I am asking I got accepted by them but I am not sure if they are accredited, if it’ll guarantee me a good future in the job market , could I be able to compete internationally as they say, will my degree hold against someone from TUM or TUB, or even Frankfurt UAS
    Sorry for the long message please I need help

    • @Wayoutwithus
      @Wayoutwithus  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well Germany is well known for cheaper tuition fees when it comes to universities, but that is not the case with SRH as this university is private. But if you are interested in the course (personally we find the program very interesting as well) and money is not a problem you should go for it without thinking twice.
      This university and your hard work will for sure guarantee you a good future. :)
      Also to add, Heidelberg as a city is very nice and it also houses architecture offices where you could gain experience by working part time long with your studies.
      Hope this helps. Good luck :)

    Any Project Management college/university which would be best suited for this course? And what are the scope of Bim architects in germany?

    • @Wayoutwithus
      @Wayoutwithus  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Well, BIM is quite popular in almost every office and u probably might have to work in german language software if it isn’t international.
      Project Management would require german language expertise extensively and in this video we only focus on english speaking courses.

      Sure mate, you can apply with English language knowledge as well of course. Success depends on your skillset and of course, your in-person presence and also, how quick of a learner are you, according to the employer! And, after all this, your luck does the job for you :)@@gandharvatiwari8620

    Hey! Thank you for this.. This helped me in shortlisting universities.
    But now I have landed up in a problem.
    I had sent application to FRANKFURT UAS (Advanced Architecture course) via uni-assist. All the required documents were submitted. Yet I received a message from uni-assist team stating "we could not forward your application to the university as you do not have APS certification". This came a shock to me because no where it was mentioned earlier that APS is needed while applying. I have applied for APS and i did send the application pdf to them along with the fee receipt.
    Do we have to send APS too while application? If not
    Do you have any idea what can be done now? It would be of great help!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

    • @Wayoutwithus
      @Wayoutwithus  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If it APS is a requirement from the university, then your application won’t be processed until all of the document requirements are fulfilled at uni assist. Good luck.

      Hi Kiran. Thanks for your message ! This really depends on the kind of office you want to work with. So, majorly, you yourself have to decide which software intersts you the most and then see reference projects of the organsiations on thier individual wesbites, where you want to work in and apply in those specific offices then.
