Not the face quite yet- but that’s the goalpost. Thank you so much. You are someone who is really putting out some of the best content in the indie world. Keep that up.
@@AriadorStudios you’re getting me hyped up here, friend! I love it. Badasses like yourself can absolutely reconquer it 🥊 Keep writing and keep fighting!!
@@om6418 love this question. Authenticity is still key. Never sacrifice who you are for some falsified persona. The “persona” in this sense is just a focused point of your personality you’re choosing to highlight for this endeavor. For me, I love men’s adventure fiction and it’s a major part of who I am… I do lots of other things and have many other interest like poetry, comedy, fashion, on and on. However, it doesn’t serve the persona or this “personal brand,” of me as a men’s adventure fiction writer to spend too much time focusing on and highlighting my interest in comedy films, let’s say. I hope this helps. I’m on Instagram @LS_Author if you’re on there and want to chat more- reach out.
@lsauthor thank you for that elaborate answer, have to think about that, but seems to make sense. My question before I even watched the video was is how many personas can U handle, do U need different pen names for every aspect, or just don't niche down in the first place? Thanks for your perspective
This may vary drastically depending on your aim for your writing career- for me, I don’t have a pen name, I just keep my online presence centered around adventure fiction in some way, shape, or form.
Excellent stuff, Luke. This is advice for anyone striving in business not just writers.
JAMES!! My man, so humbled. Thank you, brother.
Another great one, Luke! Love the conviction behind all of this, and glad to know the new face of Men's Adventure Fiction!

Great video! Really highlights how my favorite authors all had recognizable brand identities which could outgrow them (Ian Fleming, Ernest Hemingway).
@@terrancelayhew coming from a seriously great writer like yourself, man, that means so much. Thank you!
The book market is in a bad state. But we can reconquer it. Or at least epically crash while trying

You talked about creating that persona that people follow. How does this go along with authentic behaviour? Or is that overrated?
