Have you tried removing the PAIR valve and installing the block off plate. By removing that assembly and putting on the block off plate that usually stops the popping when an aftermarket exhaust is installed on these bikes. I have a 2024 DR that I am upgrading.
Thanks for showing this exhaust! Been looking at it for awhile now. Does it have a spark arrestor? And does it need repacking? I emailed them and they never answered
Saving about 5 lbs I think. Don't hold me to it. The Dom is only 2.5 lbs I believe. Power wise, I feel it, haven't measured it on a dyno or anything. But it doesn't matter, it sounds fantastic.
Hi, 4 Questions please, Your DR is a 2019 mine is a 2022, will it fit my year as well? are you still running a stock carb? and will it ruin the engine? how much louder is the Dominator exhaust w/ the decible killer installed than stock? and will the Dominator exhaust need maintance (repacked)? Thanks for your reply Paul
It should I don't know for sure. Can't answer your questions on packing. Dominator is significantly louder then stock and makes the bike sound fantastic. I have since sold the DR and am now rolling a Harley. But, loved my DR for the 3 years I had it.
sounds great, probably better to avoid messing with carbs and such.
but - I do need to mention, that is a very smooth rear tire.
Ha! Yes indeed. New meats were put on today actually.
Sounds really nice. Good choice 😃. Greetings from Poland 🙂
Love my Polish made Dominator! BTW.... Rear rack and panniers are made by Dirtracks here in Canada.

It's a good idea. Unfortunately I have since sold the DR and moved onto an HD, so I can't really test that plan out. Thanks for commenting anyways.
Huh, I'm planning to move to Canada and dr650 my dream bike 😅
Did you rejet or do any airbox mods along with this? If not has it still been running good? Mine just came in
Didn't rejet. Works good!

All it has is the baffle / db killer. As for repacking, no idea. I've put about 3000 kms with it and I notice no change in pitch.
Thanks for the speedy reply!
Here's to the snow melting and getting a march ride on!
How much weight are you saving ? Any power increase noticed?

I think it sounds good
Thanks! I really like it.
What side pannier racks are you using?
They are Dirt Racks. They work good but to be honest I haven't put a hard case on them yet. But they certainly are capable.
