Will this work on my 2024 low rider s ? The charging port has 3 holes, but i can only find these types of chargers with 2
You better call the dealer on that one. Or check the website - put your make of bike in and it will tell you compatibility. Or u may need an adapter.
3 Holes? Never saw this. Have the low rider st and it works perfect
I bought a used 900 with aftermarket pipes. After several years of suffering from sonic abuse I was finally able to find someone with some stock pipes he wants to get rid of. Loud pipes may be ok on a cruiser, but my 900 is the LT model. After a few hours on the road the loud pipes get truly annoying! Not to mention the guilt that comes when I fire the bike up at a campground at 5 am trying to get an early start.
I totally agree. I found with the Harley my Screaming Eagle exhaust is louder then stock but not obnoxious. It also makes the ride a lot more enjoyable.
I run straight pipes on my kawi vulcan and I can say for a fact, I am an asshole. your logic tracks 👍
Lol I'd love to run the straight pipes on my newer bike, but I find after a few hours my head is rattling. But..... Just because it is asshole ish doesn't mean it's not cool as F! Ride safe!
How long it will take to recharge fully?
Not sure, couple hours. I find I've never had to leave mine on for more then half hour.
I got one in 2024 and they fixed the back washer
"Is it pussy"? 😂🤣Like you I couldn't help but marvel over the thickness of the manual.
Nice Moves 🤣
Greetings from Amherst burg Ont. #1- You're not full of shit. #2- You forgot to mention maybe they should create this new off-road bike for LESS than twenty thousand! Most of us aren't doctors with endless disposable cash.
Dr650 and metallica? Sweeet 👌
Well, well...I also already have a charger but am looking at this particular HD charger just to have an HD one. And lo and behold, I also own a Softail Standard (2020). I'm in California so I don't worry about cold weather, just something to have handy to refresh my battery whenever needed. Thanks for the video, friend, it was very informative!
Your welcome!
do you eat with that filthy mouth?
I have a Harley Davidson, Pan America, CVO and I love it so … maybe cram your opinion
Why cram my opinion? It's MY opinion. It's nice to see you bought a CVO for riding primarily on the street then dumping it on a gravel road. Are you so insecure about your investment that you felt it appropriate to actually comment on here as though to validate the purchase? I didn't say they sucked. I said they are too big, too heavy, too expensive and too impractical for Harley's proposed application of the bike. They could be offering something else but instead they came out with this. 🤡
@@greasycanadianbiker I off road all the time if you watch my content. Big bore off road bikes ARE a thing. Try it sometime.
@@greasycanadianbiker BTW, you were implying that people buying the CVO Pan are stupid for doing it, so yeah, you'll get a negative repose from me. You didn't want to express your opinion, you wanted a reaction and I gave you one. Stop being a snowflake.
@@ThePoisonDrummerLMFAO 😆
Mate how fucked are your roads!!!
Lol Harley has been going downhill for decades. You know why? Because the target audience is getting older and irrevalant. It was inevitable for Harely to go broke. It went "woke" to save whatever profits it can scrounge up. In 20 or so years, sports bikes and minibikes will be the dominant style and crusiers will be a thing in the past. At least Indian was saved by Polaris.
If you want a good off-road bike the Yamaha tenere 700 is the one. Then Harley will be a dust collector
I've sat on them, I haven't ridden one. They are cool as hell.
Had a 883 some year back, it had its limits but was fun! Sure wish i could afford to buy a Milwaukee 8, 114 Bobber today!
I love my 107.
Overpriced bikes with yesterday's technology at tomorrow's prices.
True story!
Also..strictly for gays
How about lower the price
As someone who owns a used Harley, can it even be sold? I feel like it’s worthless.
Lol 😆 yes what ever will we do.....
First and foremost, the "go woke go broke" phrase is utterly moronic. In our modern capitalist dystopia, why the hell would any of these corporations limit profit by alienating potential customers? Especially here in North America, motorcycles are an extremely niche product for a very minute percentage of the general population. They're toys - and expensive toys at that. Harley doesn't need to do anything it hasn't already been doing for the last decade to go broke. These bikes are exorbitantly expensive for how little they offer the rider. Considering just how many millennials in the US enjoy the American dream for about 3 to 6 hours most nights, it's no wonder the riders amongst them gravitate toward less expensive, practical, efficient, low maintenance Japanese bikes. These things punch way, way above HD (and Polaris for that matter) in terms of safety features, fuel economy, handling and performance for the price. You're never going to convince a frugal millennial in a financially stable position that $8200 for a new Yamaha MT07 (with possibly the most reliable engine on the market today) is better spent as a down payment on $12,000 Nightster with known concerns for long term reliability. When you take into account the fact that the Nightster is now Harley Davidson's cheapest bike in the line up, the picture becomes clearer as to why it's motor clothes and Tri Glides that keep the bar and shield above water: Harley has stubbornly doubled down on their assertion that they're a "premium brand" to be sold for a "premium price" and when the majority of people who ride and can afford that premium are too old hold up a Street Glide at a red light, something's gotta give - and it's definitely not gonna be the consumer.
Couldn't have said it better myself. They definitely have to change and modernize, but where? Certainly giving into silly ideology and nonsense to appeal to a small percentage of the population isn't going to help them. I really hope they can get their act together, if they don't, they're done. Totally agree with what you said, especially in respect to Indian, they hit all the boxes and produce a technological superior machine. The only thing that the other bikes don't offer is the character that Harley's offer. They are all cookie cutter. HD has so many supporters that you literally have an ocean of customization options.
@@greasycanadianbiker he called u a moron
I'll always have a fondness for Harley. I've owned two and one of those was my first motorcycle. That said, HD is at a crossroads: Evolve or perish. And there's nothing wrong with old school character - embrace it and bring it into the 21st century. Aside from Indian, a premium brand that definitely walks the walk, Euro brands like Triumph and Moto Guzzi and BMW have bikes that look almost indistinguishable from their old, clunky forebears on first glance. We're living in a golden age of neo retro styling - even out of Japan. Bikes like the Z900 RS from Kawasaki, the new Hornet from Honda, and my current ride, Yamaha's XSR 900, all harken back to the UJMs of old but with modern performance, electronics and reliability Especially now that the industry is tending away from the inline 4 (only one of those bikes is a four banger), we're getting a ton of unique stuff from the eastern markets. But lest be real: Harley doesn't have to do any of that. If the bikes were priced competitively, they'd sell like crazy. Companies that humble themselves to the consumer are respected. When arrogance and pretense outweigh the value and merit of the product, well, pride goeth before the fall, right? All this is to ignore the fact that Harley was on the right track introducing bikes like the Pan America and Sportster S - hell, even the Street Rod 750 was a bold and daring step toward modernity. Yes, please! Make more cool, unique stuff! The Bronx street fighter concept was really, really exciting. It's depressing to say this, but I knew HD would end up tripping over its own dick and mess it up somehow. They'd either put it in production and introduce it at an msrp of $25 grand (a mere couple thousand cheaper than the BMW M1000 R, one of the most outrageously powerful and electronically sophisticated naked bikes available today) and when it inevitably gets laughed off the stage for breaking the "pretentious jerkoff" scale, they'll say "See? Nobody wants this." - or just cancel it, and leave it in limbo. We know which of those predictions became reality but I think most would agree that both were pretty plausible. It's just a shame man. I want to live in a world in which there's a motorcycle that speaks to everyone and anyone out there. A world where there are so many different options, price ranges, shapes, sizes and styles of motorcycles that riding becomes as common as driving. Harley Davidson stubbornly fading into obscurity doesn't bring us toward that world, but instead, a loud 70 miles per hour the opposite direction.
How is "go woke go broke" utterly moronic? Its called boycott and its been successfully used many times in the past. The only thing that keep a company alive is its income, so if we stop buying they'll either die with their woke stupidity or retract it, as simple as that.
Also them being woke and promoting diversity instead of better products is literally alienating their base community which is white straight males. Harley isnt a white supremacist or "only white brand" everyone was welcome, but yet the majority is still and will remain white straight males, so yes promoting anti-white policies and ideologies is alienating their customers.
The correct statement does not have the word "or" in the middle.
Harley has been a poor product for too much money for 50+ years. They only were successful because they managed to fool a certain group of people with marketing. No one believes their bs anymore.
71 year old rider. The product is a reflection of the corporate ideology. DEI sank Boeing. Expect crap. Damn
😂😂😂😂
Hell yeah well said
Exactly
Just do what I did 20 years ago and get rid of that garbage Harley and get a FJR and be done with it for 200,000 miles.I don't even know if they make performance mods for it because they aren't necessary 0-60 in 2.6 seconds low ten second quarter miles and eats miles like PAC Man and keep ten grand in your pocket.Actually I have 3, the first one I bought in 05, the second one I bought in 2010 and the gen 3 I bought last year.my 05 has 142000 miles and I checked the valves for the second time a month ago and one was tight but still in spec.I love my gen 3 KLR but if I wish I would have got a t7 or super tenere,Id get that before a pan American.Ive been trying to get "souped up"Harleys to race title for title for 20 years on the FJR but so far no takers 😅😅 my friend had a Himalayan and we found Himalayan beside it on the trail when the whole front end broke off, turns out it's a common issue but do you.
You are the most sporadic driver I’ve ever seen, geez off the throttle on and off the throttle on and off the throttle, he think he’d ride a little smoother with all the crap on the road. Oh well.
Put yourself out there, I'll talk about how you ride. 🤡
👍
Are you still alive???
Yessir, just been very busy, unfortunately no riding time. 😓
I managed to get a used one for $200 on ebay
Hey, can you change your oil filter without removing the crash bar?
Yep
That was a great bit of info Biker Brother! I lost my manual while moving my Lady in, seen the flashing red light and freaked out😂!
I bought 2007 roadstar 1700 recently and love it. Solid bike. I ride it more thany 1200 sportster now. This video was helpful. Found it a bit hard to remove the front drain plug cause I didn't have a 17mm open end stubby wrench, but I did manage to get it off after borrowing one from a friend. Thanks for posting this.
Awesome! Thank you!
Bleed the brakes fer yer buddy Hammer.
Oh they have been bled! Lol
The theme music after Sinatra: "Ecstacy of Gold" by Ennio Morricone, from "The Good, The Bad And The Ugly".😊
U got it!
Spent the last 6 days in the Maritimes and ive realized some things. - its windy, really windy, everywhere, all the time - st johns doesnt know how to construct normal roads and intersections - theres lots of crackheads over there just like over here (im looking at you Fredericton) - the further east you go the nicer it is (cabot trail was mind blowing) - covered bridge chips are still the best - being east of quebec is a good thing (quebec sucks) - every road is an incredible motorcycle road (almost) - ill be back (flying though, driving through india sucks)
The winds have only been the last couple weeks, usually we don't have winds like this other then hurricane season..... which technically it is, but no real hurricanes. As for the crackheads..... never was until that fucker Trudeau took over. In ten years he has managed to turn us borderline third world country.
Way to much involved. I find it easier to just call 1-800-blowme-andleave. It saves a lot of time..😅
Whatever works!
Will have to try over weekend, my wife might be immune to my dance moves. Need to learn some new ones!
Lolz
I too can appreciate a big pair of honed juggs.😁
Thats were im going next. Looks awesome.
It's quite the spot. I have another video of it where I rode the DR650 a few years ago. It has some good footage of the insane beach.
Subbed just cuz wtf was that intro 😂
Perfect! If u got a laugh then my work is complete.
The W800 reminds me of vintage Triumphs, great bikes with good looks.
They absolutely are and with all the reliability of Kawasaki
At 63 I am looking for my last bike. Your softail standard m8 has me thinking maybe will be a good fit. I don't like the baggers. Hey I used to visit our office in Fredericton a couple times a year. I love NB. coming in for a landing you really appreciate the wildness.
The Softail is an incredible bike my friend.
gotta keep in mind jap bikes are plastic so that keeps the weight down, so i wonder what the difference in the 1700 kawi and your bike is.
Hi keep up the good work
Endless what can b done to customize harleys
Did u end up down here or did the hurricane end that trip?
ya they look great on the side of the road lol
@@TheDarkestOne I understand that, as all the Harleys passed by me as my Vulcan shit the bed 😁
Ya that's a kawi thing. But look at the cam tensioners in the twin cam engine. They go so does your engine. Bike is immediately a giant paperweight for life. I can't remember how long the twin cam lasted but if you have a twin cam you should look into that. I believe it's a not if but when, thing.
@@TheDarkestOne ahhh shit it's all good. Mine is the single. But these bikes like all of em aren't bullet proof. Well..... I shouldn't say that, my DR650 was goddamn invincible. I kinda miss it, then I ride this and forget all about it. Every motorcycle has its thing. I really miss my Vulcan, I miss the DR. I can't wait to get another "woods" bike. They all break, but like anything in life, enjoy them when u have the time to enjoy them. Goddamn I wish I was rich, I'd have hundreds of them if I could because anything on two wheels is awesome..... even the stupid electric bikes have their cool points.
Nice to go for a ride
I'm getting that crackling sometimes with mic. Never had that issue with avting. Ever find out why?
It's due to the gain. I think I have it fixed for most of my newer vids.
Canadians dont fucking swear!! Ya get fucked bud.
Where is your other videos.did the fucking idiots deleted them because there pussys?? Lol
I have a 2006 Midnight Silverado, It sat on the showroom floor for about a year with the whitewall tires. I've put only 8k miles on it. I have to do a little carb work sometimes, but runs well, it's a big bike.
I put my dji mic inside my right hand saddlebag on minus 12, out picks up the exhaust sound perfectly, I have Vance and Hines short shots on my dyna street bob
I’m on a street glide and putting it in the touring bags gave it a terrible hollow sound
