All my life ; I wished I could've found a lady like June carter, and have the kind of relationship her & Johnny,had. She was very supportive of John. Besides GOD helping him, I believe if June wouldn't of been there, he would of destroyed himself.
These two were such remarkable couple. There were/are not many like them. It warms up the heart seeing them together on the stage singing like that and holding hands like young sweethearts. I guess their genuine love for each other kept the flame of youth going on for them, in despite of all obstacles and challenges they faced through their lives.
I just saw Johnny and June singing Where Did We Go Right for the first time and it was great. I had never heard this song before and to see them showing affection for each other is one of the sweetest things ever.
I just watched Walk the Line again for the millionth time and just realised why we all love that film so much...well, why I love that film so much...Everyone wants to be pursued by love no matter what we've done or who we are, we crave unconditional love from someone. I always loved how Johnny loved June so much but June also in her own way pursued his love too...it's a 2 way street...It's such a beautiful love story and it's true. It really is a blessing if you find something like this in life. That's why the Twilight movies were also so popular because again it's about unconditional love between 2 people and Johnny and June display this in the most real and beautiful way ❤
