Off grid solutions with storage will be main answer for Africa and the west etc should pay for this directly!!!

So they lack of infrastructures and the solution is to build the same thing but in the ocean? Africa is enormous, could generate all its power without looking at the ocean, at least at the moment. They should start investing in CSP and small pv farms close to inhabited regions as solar panels are easily scalable. If they collect enough money from IMF they could also think about a capillar national grid with big pv and eolic farms and, maybe, think about some nuclear powerplants to stabilize the grid. But to make a stable grid they could also think about hydroelectric powerstations like that one on Congo river that could power not only DRC but almost all the neighbouring countries. The solution is in the mix of all of these, surely Africa has everything it needs to power itself with renewables

As many people in Africa live in small communities across Africa they could all have local Solar/Wind power without a grid infrastructure. The demand there is relatively small which makes it perfect.

Africa hase the most potential for hydropower.

This would decrease the heating of the ocean too

That's a ridiculous idea just put it in the Sahara désert

If you covered the whole earth with solar panels there still would not be enough to power all the homes

Except the Sahara but my country and our brothers are to reluctant to invest.

Bullshit, where are you getting these numbers?

That is totally incorrect. You only need a relative small % of the entire earth to create enough electricity.

Lol that is so incorrect, the wold can be powered by solar energy. Just need some new developments in energy storage

If only there was an abundant, affordable, reliable source of energy they could use right now that wasn't dependent on Chinese rare earth metals or child labor to supply them. *sarcasm* Read: The Moral Case for Fossil Fuels!
