I love both of their characters! Andrew has intense emotions but great wit and makes me laugh. Nathaniel is serious and very straightforward but can also be comical with how he comes across.

It's amazing when you say yes to God, you just don't know where the course of your life will be in the next months/years. I am truly grateful. "The best one yet" - the remarkable thing about the Chosen is that each season builds upon the previous one, and Season 1 started out as "the best". The season that got us through Covid lockdown, watched over and over again. Every single new season has been the best, and we eagerly await Season 5 while still digesting all that took place in Season 4. Love The Chosen!!! Wonderful interview, thank you!!
Great interview! I love how they talk about saying "yes" to something that doesn't seem to work out but in the end, works out exactly as it was meant to be and that it happened to so many of the actors. These actors and actresses were truly "chosen" to do this show that is changing lives.

They’re great at the roles, I was immediately disheartened when you asked how these roles transformed them and they described that they were grateful for the role, Not falling in love with Jesus… not realizing what is truth. As if they just got a lucky break and not Almighty God hand selecting you for that particular character. Jesus is God embodied. I just can’t understand the take away of this opportunity. This generation is lost.

If you're stingy about your time being an actor would definitely be tedious and annoying. I feel like it would be a gift to be an actor and not allow it to negatively affect your personality unless you're only taking rules that you agree with their life
I absolutely love this series! I’ve watched it all the way through 4 times and can’t wait for the 5th season. I still cry all through it. It has been such a blessing to me! I have a very short attention span for a couple of medical reasons which makes it very difficult to read the Bible or anything else and this has just opened up the Bible for me and taught me understanding that I’ve never really gotten with trying to read the Bible. I’m so very grateful to see it played out in person and the understanding and clarity (especially with the parables) that it brings! I love all of the cast. Like I said I’ve watched all 4 seasons 4 times almost back to back. And I learn something new every time that I missed the previous time. I hope it keeps going for many years to come. ✝️

There are going to be seven seasons. Season 5 will end with Jesus's arrest in the garden of Gethsemane (I've heard). Season 6 will be 24 hours in Jesus's life - his last 24 hours. Season 7 will be the Resurrection.

You can look them up and some are left of center but most main cast seem Christian. IIRC David Amito isn't a believer, he did his part in the show though.
Anyone else have a big problem with Thomas’ storyline of last season? It seems to be an addition that says something theologically that the scripture doesn’t. Also, it denigrates Thomas being the “doubter” by making it all about him mourning. Lastly, it seemed to distract from the main purpose of the show which is depicting the gospel accounts.
I actually really appreciated his storyline. I think it sets Thomas up to become the doubter even more. He experienced a major loss and is about to experience another one with the crucifixion of Christ. As someone who has experienced major loss in my own life, I could relate to that sense of not understanding why God allowed this to happen when He has the power to do something about it. I’m actually curious to see Thomas’ future storyline. Because I eventually got to a place where I trust God no matter what happens even if it doesn’t make sense. And it is such a beautiful place to be. I think we are going to get the chance to see Thomas grow and mature and arrive at a similar place (hopefully). That could potentially help a lot of people watching the show who are going through something similar. I’m curious to know what you think his storyline says theologically that the scriptures don’t? To me it just illustrated the sometimes mysterious nature of God’s will or plan. Why does he allow certain things to happen? In our human limitations, we often struggle to understand. But we can still learn to trust the Lord.

Dallas makes it very clear that's what he's doing. Any film about biblical characters - real people - have scripts in which the writers do exactly that. Think Passion of the Christ, The Ten Commandments, Ben-Hur, and other such movies. In my opinion as a Christian writer, The Chosen writers and cast are head and shoulders above any production I've seen before, including Oscar winners.

As well, i helped an Armenian family flee Russian military conscription and helped them get back to Armenia. i have a sense GOD is bringing me to some sort of Armenian ministry, but have no clue what that looks like. So for now i'm just praying for you, the family, and Armenia.

I so agree, Thomas character distracts from the whole Lazarus storyline by directing attention to himself which is not biblical.
