I don't think she was timid or awkward, Ferguson is just a really crappy interviewer imo. He acts so ridiculously silly and jumps from one subject to another, doesn't let his guests finish sentences or thoughts adequately. He would be very hard to know how to react to. He would make me nervous with the strange comments he makes. I think she handled it very well. She seems like an interesting person and deserves better.

She went thru 3 appearances without him letting her talk much. He's such an annoying interviewer, I wouldn't do his show if I were asked. The guests sit there trying to awkwardly laugh off his silly comments.
That is a seriously angry micro-expression. Something there in the past. Could be her grandfather was a dick, but also could be abuse, unfortunately. You don't make that expression without serious anger towards the person you're talking about.
I'm deadly serious. I work in a related field (body language) and I've taken courses on micro-expressions. That is concealed anger, and no matter how hard someone tries to conceal it, it always leaks out. What you're looking at is anger verging on utter disgust. The way the lips turn slightly at the very point you said pause is the universal facial expression of disgust. Eyebrows arching downwards is a facial expression of anger. When you add that with the baring of teeth, the look she directs at her grandfather becomes contempt. I wouldn't joke about something like that.
Well it is really interesting and it reminds me of human lie detectors (so to speak) that can understand if you are lieing depending on your body language and voice. BUT , what does this have to do with a yourube video dude. Tell it to your friends not me wtf. Anyway it is interesting and when i find time I will check it out cause it seems realy useful.
