Just found your channel! We bought an rv over 10 years ago and i would do it over and over again. It is the best way to travel with kids who grow up to be teenagers. 😉Our kids look forward to our vacations and respect each one as family time. I think it's brought us so much closer as a family
I like your attitude and easy going style. I'm going to be 72 and have camped my whole life. We just bought a TT so watching how you set yours up was fun. We've had them before and loved going out in them. I look forward to seeing more of your videos.
Check the temp on your oven with an oven thermometer. It is adjustable by pulling off the oven knob, looking on the back for a screw with a plus or minus and adjusting the temp up and down with a screwdriver. Yes you would think these where set in the factory, but they can be off. Hope this helps with the cooking also.

This was 10X better than Oprah's favorite things. You guys did a great job on this. Your presentation was excellent and natural, and you cameraman was on the mark at all times. Well done.
After owning an RV for over 10 years my secret is to keep up with all the maintenance that's required and check the different systems frequently. I use a wonderful vehicle maintenance program called Automotive Wolf car care software that I use on my laptop and configured it to not only monitor my RV's maintenance schedule but also all the other little things that are needed to keep an RV in good shape like inspecting the roof for leaks every 6 months. The software also keeps track of all my expenses and trips so I know all the RV parks I've stayed at and whether it's worth returning there. If you really want to save money keep up with the maintenance!

So solid recommendations. My husband and I plan on going RVing full time as soon as he retires. He has been a truck driver and I drove with him for 6 yrs too until an accident disabled me. I can't imagine trying to do this with kids. You are braver than I.

I’ve been RVing for over 30 had a number of different rigs, now have a class A thought I had seen or used almost everything to makes things better in my ring!!! Also been watching a lot of videos on TH-cam mostly for something to kill time.. But I’ve got to say you actually showed that I never thought about and I use my oven lots when I’m out camping, thank you for your pizza stone trick, I’m definitely going to get one before I go out in my rig in the spring!!!
It worked great! Just don't travel with it in there, ours cracked on a big bump AND most importantly make sure you look up directions on how to use it for the first time. There are steps so it doesn't crack under heat the very first time you use it. Like priming it.
So many great items!!! Our favorites are also a noise maker, as well as our instant pot, a retractable clothesline and our magic bullet blender! It’s funny how little things can make a big difference! Thanks for sharing!
Elementary Explorers it’s so true! When you’re living with only a few possessions, each one has a lot more importance! Where do you have your clothesline, in the shower? Or outside? We need more hang-drying space for sure! That would be a great idea! 👍 -Ben

Found this because my family lost our house in a fire last year and we decided we wanted to be happy and not just work to live in a boring place. So we are moving to the beach in a rv. I'm excited and nervous.

Love the coffee press and electric water pot. Those are the exact ones we use everyday at home. I am a mom of five and we are planning a three week RV trip from NC to Yellowstone to Zion/Bryce and a dozen places in between this summer. Super helpful mom-advice! Safe travels.
Love the Idea of the pizza stone to evenly distribute the heat of the oven and the cutting board. My wife and I were fortunate enough to purchase a new to us RV yesterday and are incredibly excited to get started. thanks for the inspiration.

I like your cosy home. Yesterday, I came across a candle warmer. It is a great way to create a lovely scent without having to have a flame needing to be watched in case of fire. It was only $4.50 in original wrapping at the Thrift Store. Will be a great addition to my vintage RV. I love your floor cleaner, especially as it doesn't not involve replacing parts continuously and therefore saves money. Safe travels to you and your family!
I absolutely love watching the both of you and your little family traveling around. You both are naturals at this vlog stuff. The enthusiasm you have for day to day life and the love you have for each other and your children shine through your videos. Your RV set up is so homey and well thought out. Another must have is table cloths for picnic tables. I’ve seen people lay sewer pipes on the picnic tables. Never camp without them.
Eeeewwwww.....we're new to rv'ing...it never occurred to me that people would put their sewer hose on the picnic table! I'll be buying a tablecloth for sure!

Nice video thank you for the video on the must haves for your Rv. It helps. Glad you tie down the awning when it gets windy and then get in when it gets really super windy that wind can rally damage it and damage other things as well. Stay safe.

Yes!!! I'd love an organization video! I am so type A and we're in the process of downsizing to live in a trailer full time while we get out of debt. We have one rambunctious toddler and another will be born by the time we move. I live your videos! There aren't too many that are fun to watch that aren't about singles or a couple. I love that you're doing this with your kids!

Hahah, I'm on my feet and running. One more question. Do you have laminate or hardwood floors? The man that installed our floors said we need to use laminate BONA cleaner, not the one for hardwood or it could ruin our floors. The hardwood Bona mop w/floor pad and cleaner bottle are $29.97 at Walmart. We came home to check Amazon prices and which one they offered.

We are always up for items that have multiple uses. One of my favorites is the collapsible dish rack as well! Great space saving piece!
OK, so thanks, now my wife has a place to use that pizza stone we have in our house oven and generally never use. Ours fit nicely in our TT oven! I showed her you video list and she immediately grabbed our and went to the TT and put it in! She also said she wanted one of those Bona mops too!

We have one of those prickly grass mats for outside our trailer and we love it. The nice thing about the grass mat is that what ever is scraped off the shoe, it drops below the grass and it keeps the shoes and the mat cleaner. Also, just inside our trailer door we have a water absorbing fabric mat that we absolutely love! We are in the Pacific Northwest, so it rains a ton and we have a lot of evergreens and those fabulous needles get EVERYWHERE! The combination of these 2 mats has made camping life so much easier and I think together they cost maybe $15 but the mats we have are small. (Our trailer is only 19'6" long, including the tongue.) We have one of those mat's that you guys have on our house door step but that mat collects everything that passes by it and it drives me crazy, it's impossible to keep clean. We have one of those collapsible dish strainers too and we LOVE ours!!! Just thought I'd share. :) Happy travels all!
