Just ran into this and helped me out a bunch, thanks brother. Been having the same issue of my forte cutting out at red lights/when idle, and got the P0335. Going to grab the sensor and do this myself and save myself some money. Very helpful video thanks for showing all the little details.
Man thank you for this video I saw this one of the video that dude made it seem like oh man how long is this going to take me. You started showing how to do it and I was like okay I saw that part if I got to go back to the end part to put back I will. I got it done before the sunset and I thought I was going to be in the dark winter finish. Thank you sir for this. Mine is a 2015 Kia forte it's the same thing right here. Again thank you sir have a good one
Oh and this is just to say something changing this also there's a map sensor and it's on the top if if you have anybody has a chance change that map sensor also that thing will give you problems It could go like one of these things here's one but here's comes the other so just think about that map sensor
I'm just saying these things to help people out also if you're having this kind of problem installing on you things like that before it gets worse or what you can do is don't run AC don't run fan don't run anything and it might keep you going for a little while until you can get this and change it out same as with the map sensor I changed a whole another sensor just things to do change air filter clean the intake manifold spark plugs and wires or not wires coil packs if you haven't done that in a while
I would bring it to a shop and see if they can get a reading from the error codes. It could be a bad Crankshaft Position Sensor or low oil pressure. Hope this helps, good luck.
True or you can just buy the fix code reader and download the fix app on your phone so you can see what the code is and fix it yourself save you some money
Thanks my brother I have spent over a 1000 buck's and still didn't solve the problem but I think this it. My car also keeps cutting out at red light are while I'm driving

You welcome brother
Sweet so glad this looks easy..
Only suggest would be to get some kind of part cleaner to clean the old oil out the housing and use new oil to seal the ring of the new part.
Thanks for sharing!
Did it help out when u changed , my car was doing to same cutting off at lights? I mean is your car still cutting off?
Yes it helped out a lot
Great video
Excellent video!
Thank well appreciated
Must be having the same problem, my check engine light came on after I put new oil in, could that just mean I need a oil change.?
I would bring it to a shop and see if they can get a reading from the error codes. It could be a bad Crankshaft Position Sensor or low oil pressure. Hope this helps, good luck.
Low oil pressure can happen if you put the wrong recommended oil filter on. I saw about it in this video: th-cam.com/video/ZZT3AsJ2XH0/w-d-xo.html

@@deeskilz2309 man my car still cutting off what do you thinks the problem
Cool, no reset required after reconnecting the battery?
Not at all
can you change it from the hood as well instead of going under the car
No, you have to go under the car, it's on the underside of the vehiclw
There is a gap between the screw housing and the plate.... not sure where I went wrong
You need a gasket
