This track is an absolute banger. Once you listen it it gets stuck in your head (especially those juicy "HEY! HEY!")

You’d never think this kind of song would work for a battle/war theme but somehow fire emblem pulls these kinds of themes off. It gives you a sense of what the characters are fighting for.
Their homes, their cultures and traditions... You also get a feel of what the MUs (protags) are adventuring for. Fighting for their world, not just the bits and pieces. All those pieces unite into a whole, using the powers of their bonds. It's pieces like this that make me always appreciate FE titles more and more.

I like to think this works so well is because the Solm aspect of this game is the “recovery” part of the game. The gang just got thrashed, so this is their time to get their feet under them.

I’ve been listening to this almost nonstop in and out of game. This theme feels like what Road Taken was to Fates and what Conquest was to Awakening. It’s got the fast-paced tempo of Conquest and the “drama” of Road Taken.
If only it wouldn’t keep getting interrupted by the zombie rave party music on Enemy Phase
Makes me wish we could turn off enemy phase music like in heroes.
Or even set the music in both phases like Tempest trials in this game! Cmon IS throw us a bone :(
@@9ateway I can set it for both enemy and player in the settings. You can't change it for story mode missions.

The only reason I got Engage is because of this music. It definitely saved it for me. Even though the game is pretty shallow, no meat, compared to the depth of other fe games, I find myself actually enjoying it because the music just gets me boppin 🥴

The paralogue remixes are an easy answer but I think this game has my favorite battle prep theme in the franchise. And the instrumental main theme on the first battle in Lythos?? And the general boss theme that plays when approaching them? All fire.
I could go on but I mean it’s fine if you or others don’t like the ost that much.
That moment when only a chapter ago it felt all hope was lost, but then in the desert you are hit with this music, and you read Timerra's Sandstorm ability, and you must read it again because that can't possibly be right, but it is, and you stick Ike on her with a mere Iron Lance+3 and finally think to yourself, oh, it actually isn't hopeless at all, I'm actually going to become unstoppable and save the world.
This track is full of life and I love it.
It's inspiring as hell to see composers of a series continue to innovate and further develop their style and take on new challenges. I've been playing since Awakening and this is one of the best and most unique tracks I've heard so far. Hope every subsequent game involves globetrotting too so we can get more variety like this, what a treat!
1:25 this part feels just like activating the engage ring. This song perfectly makes me want to play some Fire Emblem.

@@DourFlower It's a setting for skirmishes. In story missions the option to change the bgm is greyed out.
I am glad I played this game on maddening first attempt. Getting to hear this theme for several hours straight was worth the retries.

I always put this on while grinding. The part at 4:38 is fantastic, reminds me of Road Taken from Fates, melancholic and jolly at the same time
It's more like No Justice for me especially the beginning of the song. It almost has the same melody, I'm surprised nobody has pointed that out.

Didn't they do that with Sacred Stones? Jehanna was one of the allied kingdoms, and due to the desert locale, I'd figure they'd need to dress appropriately
That was what I hoped Leichester Vs Almyra would've been in Three Houses or Three Hopes, but IS slept on that one.

the song that plays when you realize the enemy had 3 great knights and 3 Generals and you don't have armorslayer nor any magic units deployed and start to contemplate why the main story is easier than the skirmish

People say "all the music in engage is dull, boring, and the same" and to that I say that's their loss
The leitmotif for Solm is by far favourite in the entire game, you can hear this in "Camping In Solm", and my personal favourite, "Tenacity Of Freedom", which I strongly recommend EVERYONE to listen to, because that track shows just how powerfully flexible this leitmotif is
There's all sorts of emotions in the medley for Solm's themes, it sounds adventurous, going into unknown territory, yet as shown in Tenacity Of Freedom especially the 2nd verse, it's bursting with hope, man this such a good track.

oh, this game's fiery variations are SO much better than three houses'! for those i was disappointed because the songs barely changed, they would just a ton of percussion.
here the percussion amps up, but it's not overwhelming, you still get the main melody
3H was the outlier when it came to the Thunder (fiery) version of the tracks and yeah they were pretty underwhelming (with exceptions of course like in Chasing Daybreak and especially A Funeral of Flowers). The fiery versions of the tracks in Awakening and Fates are about as melodic and complete as the ones here.

Why does this theme remind me of Pokemon mystery dungeon, monster hunter stories, and Pokemon conquest if it had a sequel/remaster?I swear, you could slap this theme into a random dungeon and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.XD.Besides that this is one heck of a theme.Solid 10.

I heard it at night in a streaming session and it became instantly one of my most liked VGM's of the fire emblem series and probably even in all of Gaming Soundstrack at all.
This can fight head on with the likes of Xenoblade Chronicles, Top Final Fantasy scores, The Last of us Opening theme and so on.

The drums, the strings, the unusal instrument usage and the transitions between the calm and thrilling parts are so IMMENSELY GOOD it just throws off your mind, what you want to think and feel.

i think this is my favorite and only song that became an earworm to me unlike other fire emblem game where i would have more than one.
It also has a very special place story wise since its the first battle song that plays after the story takes a dip in tone. Its so hopeful, it gave me hope as i walk into the nation of solm after what just happen.

whenever i hear this i cant help but to think of my op general anna just beating everything down whit the silver greataxe and dodging every single move. Tiki is soo freacking broken on Anna especially if you make Anna a general

@@isumademonfox8913 make sure to pump her luck too this game doesnt give you enough money at all, for me its atm a coin flip if i get that extra 500 after each kill goes a long way if you can lure enemies out by just placing anna there and letting her get kills, anna is getting close to max hp too i think if she has all her levels and i upgrade luck/hp to +10 from tiki i can def have her sitting at the very least at 90 hp anna literly becomes a boss

@@cvkpond the only thing she doesnt dodge is attacks from those very op lv 20 advanced mages that cant move during sigurd his trial she can pretty much kill em but those things are made to be super op and when i look at the damadge they do to every unit it goes from 60 twice (they start) to 50 twice (they start) and they each have 3 hp extra bars, they might as well be super bosses, i do not reccomend fighting them whatver they are holding it cant be worth the trouble, if they can literly 100% hit and insta kill the anna whit the stats she has on my end

If you're ok with the story being a little boring this game is a must buy. Genuinely some of the best gameplay in the series.
