@@sct353 I'm actually in the process of scoring THE MEETING using Flugelhorn, Trumpet and Euphonium....it's proving a challenge, but it's in my bucket list.
I bought my in enso n i q VFX the morning of the concert to my surprise he had it on stage Wakeman oh my God I couldn't wait to get home to play it as I didn't even take it out of the box yet
I saw this tour. Jon's voice was strong and the band was amazing. Yes I love Chris on bass, but he didn't want to play so Jeff Berlin was as fine as a sub any band could wish for.
Tony Levin played bass at the start of this tour but was injured half -way through the tour. I saw them with Tony in 1989 at Pine Knob. Jeff must have filled in for Tony after the injury. I always thought Chris was not able to play due to commitments with Yes. This really was a Yes concert, just without Chris. They could not use the Yes name because the 4 members had left the band and the name behind.
Surely I could tell when I sleep tonight A dream will call and raise it's head in majesty Dividing all my energy To the meeting of Your love Where from whence it came Like a singer searching for a song I try to reach where You belong As I will be the song for You I will be Your servant child No, oh no I cannot be deceived No, oh no There's something that I feel There's something that I feel inside Surely I could tell If you ask me, Lord To board the train My life, my love would be the same As I could be the one for You In the meeting of Your love In the meeting of Your love Read more: Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe - The Meeting Lyrics | MetroLyrics
Nice song. Too bad the fact of the belief system held to by the composer means that the song belies itself. It says, "I cannot be deceived", all the while the composer is a confirmed pagan, and is, therefore, quite deceived.
William Maddock Who are you to say he is? Nothing in this song says it talks about a Christian Lord, this might be pagan for all we know. THANK YOU JON
One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Rick Wakeman is awesome!
Michael - you're right. I have hard it so many times but it never fails to move me.

omg.. Anderson and his bright vibe.. "like a singer, searching for a song" (c)... what a tune...
Enjoy as you will never hear yes like this as all real yes fans will understand.
I’m a Christian. Jesus told the Pharisees that love was the greatest commandment. This song is all about that love!
THIS has been my favorite shower/rain/sunrise song for many decades. It's a prayer...
Shoreline amphitheater. I was there that beautiful night.
the album is an outstanding masterpiece
The best mellow tune ever.
Wonderful song. Amazing. Perfection.

Been a Yes Fan since childhood
Damn, almost 30 years, still tearin' up a bit.
I miss this music.
Stunning. Love it.
The best composers of our time.wonderfull.and y s I was at this concert will never forget.this is prob my funeral send off song.
As much as I love this song, I'm probably more for an "Always look at the bright side of life" send-off. :)
as an agnostic/atheist, i now understand the religious 'feeling'
Wow, i'm impressed! :)

August 1989 Santa Clara California,I was in that wonderful concert, the quartet AWBH
Thank you Rafael for info about it, that is true
So you saw them with Tony Levin on bass. I did too in 1989 at Pine Knob with Tony. Too bad he was injured a short time later and had to be replaced.
Ya Know...Jon sings like an angel..gotta give credit to Mr Wakemen

No se quien es mejor músico juntos suenas espectacular siempre
en ese tipo de grupos, todos son genios y los genios juntos hacen genialidades, pero no siempre pueden sobresalir separados
breathtaking !
Beautiful!!!
Fabulous . . .
magnificent!
Surely I could tell when I sleep tonight

Dividing all my energy
To the meeting of Your love
Where from whence it came
Like a singer searching for a song
I try to reach where You belong
As I will be the song for You
I will be Your servant child
No, oh no
I cannot be deceived
No, oh no
There's something that I feel
There's something that I feel inside
Surely I could tell
If you ask me, Lord
To board the train
My life, my love would be the same
As I could be the one for You
In the meeting of Your love
In the meeting of Your love

how difficult is it to even say that GOD created evolution--and that evolution has results such as this song and many many more songs and things
temazo!
Dios!
Kenny Loggins son? I'm the same. I wanted "Is this love" but got "Tonight I Celebrate my love you", Its ok but not quite hitting the spot
Really one of the most Amazing y wonderful song I' ve ever heard in my life❤❤❤❤
this was supposed to be my wedding song but my chose Fucking Kenny Loggins WTF

Pretty bitchin tune, isn't it? If I am ever dumb enough to get married, I'll do it in your honor. I think this is the song that wore out my cassette.
Lol. Sorry, just caught me as funny!
Nice song.

William Maddock sounds like a fine delusional fantasy! Keep it up!
Sure Bruford didn't like this song
What's the story? :)
