Oof. I looked at another video of this school marching band halftime show and took over the whole field. I just marched backwards and forwards. Big band but band camp must be easy
The best experience of this can be described as your freshman year, “pep rally? Pfft whatever” you sit outside waiting for the band, the drums beat the loudest and you can’t hear a thing besides them, and then begins the fight song, the trumpets roar and you feel your rib cage rattle.
I will never forget my first rally. It was a Friday as always and I was in one of those technology classes and we were all chilling out waiting for it to start. They had to keep us in the classrooms, and then there was this BLAST of horns. You could hear it for miles, I swear. You cannot for the love of god hear your friends over just the sheer power of the band. It shakes every bone in your body.
I live in Frisco and I’ve heard a lot of things about Allen, but never have I seen a band perform and march in the School. Holy crap that School is massive. But hey, I’d be willing to join your tuba section.
but isn’t frisco’s fine arts hella good (at least depending on the school)..? like i’m a violinist and at least back then yalls orchestras were crazy good even now. also the school kinda has to be big. the average graduating class is 1600-1800 meaning that many kids per grade so yeah ofc the school gotta be big
The trombone section covered all of the bands in the middle and the high school band combined at my school. And the sousaphone section is bigger than our marching band...
Y'all be all like, wow look at how many people there are, but you haven't even seen our football stadium. Just look up Allen high school football stadium
@@hesuhhkillaa8137 i go there as of now , it’s hella huge haha . however , not everyone is in band . the average graduating class at my school is like 1600-1800 . so like 1600-1800 kids per grade . so when you look at the whole school population vs how many kids are in band , it’s prolly a smaller percentage than you think . but since band culture is rlly hyped and sometimes overhyped since were the biggest band in the US and have been for awhile , it encourages a bunch of ppl to join band when they start choosing instruments at a young age .

lol i go here rn and most of our school isn’t made of band kids. why you may ask? and the average graduating class is abt 1600-1800. that means 1600-1800 kids per grade. so yeah it’s not like everyone’s in band. however band culture is rlly fun at our school, and we’re the biggest escadrille in the US as of now so it’s always hyped up and sometimes overhyped
lol i go here and the average graduating class is abt 1600-1800. that means 1600-1800 kids per grade. they couldn’t fit everyone, so they have a school just for freshman. idk abt the size of the school itself, but it’s pretty damn huge. professional orchestras use our performing arts center as a place to perform and hold their rehearsals haha
that school looks bigger than the malls around here
My mall isn’t even a two story...
It’s literally 5 miles. 6,000 students. 60 million dollar stadium. 2 basketball stadiums.
@@lincolnapollo its .2 miles
Everyone is talking about the size of the band, but has anyone realized how big the school must be to fit that many students
Villager #22 oh my god you have no fucking idea
the highschool is around 6000 kids that is 10-12 and the freshman center is normally 1600 or 1700 depending on that class size.
And their band room and stage must be massive
Kennedy Pickering **when the freshmen center has more students than my high school**
810 students 10 be exact
When the whole school is in band
Runaway Starfish Allen high has about 7000 students
Matt Lee its around 4,700 not 7,000.
Jake a if u count the freshman center its abt 7000
Ya we (Allen) have the largest band in america if I'm correct
LEXI MEHH It’s 5,000
their band bus must be lit outof control
sean lasker it really is. Especially if we're on a bus👌🏾
They have 800 players and a bus hold 60 people theirs like 12 buses for the whole band
Nawl we have over 200 And take 10 buses so they have to take more
sean lasker we sit 2 a seat and there's 22 seats
sean lasker and 2 if of them only seats 1
that trombone section is probably lit all the time
sean lasker actually the people in the trombones are pretty lame
You should see Boswell we yell "suck it" during the cadence and do weird stuff on the bus
Allen horn section most lit :’ ))
i can barely remember some of my band members they must just stumble upon random band members and not even know it
Band camp must be fun!
+Keith Arnold It is!
Keith Arnold IKR😭😭😭❤

That's the first band I've ever seen with more brass than woodwinds... excluding drum corps, obviously
Why that shit look like a mall?
+Almighty Guccii Hahahhahah I Know
They got a big ass school....with a lot of students
Their school has about 4,000 students.
This school is bigger than most universities lol
It's so much work to get to class though, being a former student there.
I like how the clarinets are practically the only ones still in attention.
I’ve never seen so many bass clarinets in my life
Holy crap, that's alot of band geeks !
we have the biggest band in the country :)
+hannahbrook2002 incorrect the Ohio state marching band is the biggest in the country

Jbro58 over 800 students
Kennedy Pickering ahem when ur band only has about 150.
When your band only has 60. Mine
Gj Robledo mine only has 120 but still... the middle school band is bigger than the hs band
My band has 35 wowee
The trombone section covered all of the bands in the middle and the high school band combined at my school. And the sousaphone section is bigger than our marching band...
Their Football Stadium is HUGE!!
My high schools band hit 305
At its largest
5/10 not enough band
When the band is 6 times as big as your entire school
There are more people in that band then there are in my entire school... I'm in band and we don't even have 30 members.
I wish I was in that schools band
Move to Allen mate
19 sousaphones. Nice for a high school.
Lord that trombone sound is beautiful
I love marching band, even though I have only been in 1 parade.
You got to come to Massillon Ohio during football season but this is a pretty darn good rally
there band is the biggest one in Texas
I'm me yay and in America
Skyler Lamb and in the world
@@beanboys6856 3rd in the world i believe

That’s huge!
that sousaphone section is bigger than my schools whole low brass section
People wasn't lying when they say that things are bigger in Texas.
This is over half the size of my entire school
yes the band is huge, but has anyone noticed how large the school is....
Ahh good ol' kick off 2 towards the end
Imagine chair placement
Just imagine how small it must be now in 2019
Lol it's still huge I go there

having more people is way better than small bands
mesirpez definately. but some are too big and need to do more cuts.
how many of them are there
As of 2015 season, 775 members.
+Hayley Wessel O-O My band is like 10% of your band's size... only having a bit over 30 members inlcuding with Drumline and color guard.
DjMack Music biggest band in america!
lol I'm pretty sure my marching band has like 24 members.
DjMack Music my band has 130-140 members. i thought that was big
I play the bari sax and kinda sad there were no bari's😭😭
Where's my bari gang at?
so loud, so good
What song are they playing?
Swerve doe it's called Macarena
Macarena is the song they played
When they march, all I think of is troops like of WWI marching away......
My bezt froemd attends ahs and plays in the vand ... hes awesome the bBd is awesome and im in deteoit always wT gunf
Size doesn't matter
Severe Mobile you’re just jealous
It matters when ur in Texas..
So many ... trombones and trumpets
Exodus Static tons of trumpets this year. I think there are 130 trumpets
I'm a trombone player. my school has 3 and me alone can probably overpower there first chair player
Relatable
I wrote this 6 years ago, absolute cringe
I thought royalty was walking in the way they was playing
Wonder how big is there band room
It's not just a band room... It's a whole band hall. Like a lot of claasrons
Damn that’s a lot of sousas
brave kids, using full size dynasty tenors
only brass band?
a dam shame for a band 2 be this big
Samuel Singleton shame? People like playing instruments, so they join band.
and i thought my band was big (110 people)
Check out the smallest
My band has 2 cymbal players
How is their cheer team so small
what is that song
CeasingCarton Macarena
Song?
benekaiwi1 macarena

That’s a lot of Sousa’s

Christ I would abhor attending this school.
Joseph Fry it was okay most of the time. pep rallies and football games were a lot to deal with.
Is this a parade
