It's called a Kizer blade. Some people call it a sling Blade, but I call it a Kizer blade.

Some people freak out at any knife. The other day I used my Damascus Civivi exarch and my sister was like "OH MY GOD DID YOU SEE THAT KNIFE !!!" Her husband even carries an OTF.

Love my Keizer Vatt Lind it holds its edge well rides low in pocket on clip and cuts great love the flat grind and blade design the price is reasonable
Have one of these on my Christmas wish list, along with the Sheepdog XL. I have some other knives on the list too. Benchmade, WE, Spyderco, and ZT.
Just got this and I carry it when I'm not wearing pants.
When I am going sans-trousers, I prefer a neck knife...
If I didn't already have the Real Steel MicartaMorph (from Indiana Knives) I would be adding the micarta Feist to my "really would like to have one of those" list. It's certainly a good looking knife and I'm a sucker for micarta.

And there's an even newer version of the Feist in Kizer's budget Vanguard line. CTS-BD1N with G-10 scales (gray, green, black, orange) for $79, or the same steel with carbon fiber scales for $99.
Have the original Feist, and is one of my favorite "office" carry knives (when I was actually going into the office). Certainly agree that this would be a bit easier to deploy without the exposed lock bar, but honestly haven't really had any issues with deployment on the original.
I like the material choices. Micarta and BD1 Steel. Not bad at all for the cost. (Edit: Oh, though this was the vanguard, like it even more with S35VN).
I've the discontinued Titanium Warncliff CPM-S35VN blade Feist (bought from BeardedGear) and I love this little knife almost as my Quiet Carry iQ, often in my pocket :) Thanks for sharing :)
The g-10 version came out, now that's a deal
I've only seen those with a lesser steel, though. Make sure you check before buying.
Does the vanguard version come with ball bearings? I've look everywhere but I can't find anywhere saying it does or doesn't

I’ve been considering getting this one and selling my titanium one! It’s so annoying the shit grip you have to have the titanium is also entirely smooth zero grip lol

G-10 BD1N versions were $79 the other day on bladehq, “while supplies last.”
I returned mine because it was eating up my thumb. The action on the one I bought was really stiff. Aesthetically it is a great little knife and I was sad to return it🥲
Just got one and having the same problem with mine. The smooth over-jumping and the rounded corner on the flipper tab doesn't help matters any

What are the pros and cons of a front flipper? I’ve never owner one.
Pros, fun to play with. Cons, not as convenient as a flipper/thumbstud deployer. Just my opinion.
