I’ve heard another clock similar to this. I think it was on Clock TV’s channel? Either that or a random clock shop I went to. Either way I recognize it.
NEVER move the hands of any clock 0:54 at the end of the hand like you're doing here, turn the hour hand from the center and rotate the hand at the base. You risk twisting the hand off, especially if an old antique clock movement. Watching this is worse than fingernails on a blackboard.
Wow, sorry to have triggered you so badly. I'm certainly not an expert on the subject so thanks for your insight. I've had no issues thus far and never seen it mentioned so adamantly anywhere else either. But I do agree you should be careful not to use too much force, lol.
@Fasciseus Thanks for pointing that out. Could you please explain the operation of the canon tube as it relates to the proper advancement of the hour and minute hands for us "noobs"? Thanks in advance.
Wow, that sounds so soothing and pretty!!

Beautiful clock!
Thank you 👍
The Westminster Chime and strike sounds a lot like my Grandmother's old triple chime mantle clock! I miss my Grandma so much.....
Thanks @jodempseysales at least I can touch it without being too scared now
