I love your guys' channel. The videos are well made and in the descriptions are quick links to exactly where in the videos are the segments that you may want to jump to and concentrate on. The narrator should be in the online and video training industry. Great studio voice with excellent enunciation.
Yay, thanks for confirming a good choice in compact washer & dryer units for our rental! Wanted something reliable and found there are a few nearby vendors that service them, if needed. Win/win.
I have one of the more higher end W1's, and would just like to mention the add laundry feature only works in the first few minutes of starting a programme, once it fills too high you won't be able to add anything.
Miele is the best washers ive owned, BUT i can only say that about their older sets. I pick up used novotronics or touchtronics under $60 or some times free. They just last and last even when some are over 20 years old, doing 6 loads a week.
My laundry room has a connection box with a 1-1/2" drain hole. Is there a special connector available so I can connect the washer and the dryer drain to it?
Miele only makes compact laundry on the residential side. They make commercial laundry called "little giants" that are larger and those are phenomenal machines as well.
I have an older Bosch Serie 8 8.5kg washing machine which features auto detergent and softener dispensing, 15 min quick wash and a 1600 Rpm spin cycle.
Curious what you think of the LG Signature combo (LUWM101HWA). I know you warn people off combos, but this has true high-speed spin like Miele (1600), heat-pump drying instead of a condenser, a 20 year warranty on the motor and if the weight is any consideration, much heavier-duty build than other compact combos. My issue is a kitchen designed for a combo and not wanting to give up another 24" to 27" cabinet for the dryer.
Well, all of Miele's new laundry is exceptional! They're the best in the industry in terms of fabric care and that goes across their entire line including the TXR860WP.
As a washer it's perfect. An only downside is a famous TwinDos system which is poorly designed. The detergent smell is very strong and annoying, and it leaks from the machine all the time. It's also very allergenic. Once you use Miele detergent the system is contaminated with that smell, and there is no way to clean it if you want to use the Sensitive one. I had to send the new machine back and get a base model giving up all nice new features. A newer model without TwinDos would be ideal.
@@YaleAppliance1 PS you composed and present great videos. Your point about service availability is a variable worthy of serious consideration also installation affects performance.
Industry average spin speed in the uk is 1400rpm and that’s with induction and brushed motors, Here in the uk and across Europe these are not compact machines they are standard, I’ve never understood why you guys in the states have to have such big machines,
Tendency for separate rooms for laundry that dates back to when people were using tubs and ringers means that there's more space -- so the mentality for a long time has been, if you've got a big enough space for a machine big enough to do more at once and do laundry less often, then why not? This meant people could save money with a big but very simple, serviceable and cheap full-size top loader without worrying about space or water use. Now that's all changing as water becomes more scarce and expensive and home developers ditch utility rooms in favor of laundry closets and bigger eat-in kitchens, and compacts are becoming more popular here. At least that's my observation....
@@grt764 I never understood why United States people are always complaining about European and how we do things. Why do we complain about you guys? @@Raison_d-etre every brand. It is an industry trend. Longer wash cycles use less energy and less water, so why not go for it? If occasionally you need it done fast, there are always fast programs available too.
It's like having a fussy toddler upstairs. It appears to allow no phase of wash/dry without beeping. BEFORE the cycle has finished. Just in case you wanted to run upstairs to watch if "finish". Has anyone found a way to stifle the alarm? Truly, it's a deal breaker for me--I would not buy another Miele.
It's the best. With a 1600 speed spinner not much is left to dry. 😂 Forget those stupid vents. Bosch has a similar one, but there are too many complaints about it. Miele is an only one in US/Canada market.

Glad you like them!
Lucky enough to have 19 Miele appliances in my family & love them all!
🥰A Miele believer for sure. 🥰
Bought the W1 and T1 in January 2020. Completely satisfied.
Thanks for sharing!

The drain on the dryer is very thin in diameter... it's not a standard drain hose. You should be able to accommodate both.
Miele is a top gamma. I love Your voice too!!! I think You could work in the acting industry:)
Wow, thank you!
@@YaleAppliance1 well, I think I am not the first person to tell You!!!

What Miele washer dryer combo do you recommend for full size ?

If you need a washer only, you may be fine with Bosch. If you need a ventless dryer, Bosch cannot catch up with Miele.

We love LG, especially their laundry, but have never been a fan of combination units due to high rate of service.
Can you comment for Miele combined washer dryer machinea? Like WTD 160
We love Miele laundry but Yale has never been big on all-in-one units. Too much to go wrong from a service perspective and we service what we sell.
How is the TXR 860WP?

@@aammssaamm I agree so much with this. Not to mention that Miele offers refillable detergent cartridges everywhere *except* for the US.
Can you wash a queen or king comforter or quilt in these compact washers?
King quilt and queen comforter.
No. These units would not offer enough capacity to wash larger comforters well.
But how well do they rinse?
They rinse just fine...
Not exceptional. Hope it means gentler on the clothes.
Miele is the best performing compact laundry on the market. To me, they do everything better than their competition.
The issue with rinsing is that most users probably put in way too much detergent.

US&Canada always go by a cheaper price and "cooler" design. 😂
