    12:30 , sir then why don't you actually multiplied the solution with 8 while solving . if it was 2 then multiply n , if roots where 2 and 2 then mutiply by n square. but why didn't u multiply with n when 8 was root ??

      That is because the root 8 isnt 2. The particular exponential function on rhs has a base of 2. And the number of times that base is the root of the characteristic equation of the homogenous rec relation on the lhs is how many times you multiply the particular solution by n.

    In q1. I didn't understand how you get p - 2p + p = 1 when putting an = p in eqn 1 how you get it ? shouldn't it be p - 2p -1 + p - 2 = 1 when putting an = p in an - 2an-1 + an-2 = 1 ????

      Bcoz here p is just a constant
      an = p is a constant function ... independent of n....... if we write an = n type then this function depends on values of n but in case of constant p(which is independent of n) we put all functions = p

    Sir In case 2: For Particular solution you have let an=d0+d1n. How to decide how many terms we have to pick from an=d0+d1n+d2n^2+...+dmn^m

      Depends on degree of polynomial in R.H.S.
      If R.H.S. = constant ,take an = d0
      If R.H.S has hight term x, take d0 +d1n
      If RHS has highest term x^2 , take d0 + d1n + d2n^2
      And so on

      If our Homogenous solution have degree 1 then it will be multiply by n, if degree 2 then n*n , if degree 3 then n*n*n

    Sir in case 3rd ....... If value of r = 8 then you said that the particular solution would be an = d.2^n ...... but if value of r = 2 instead of 8 then the value of the particular solution would be an = (d.2^n)n ...... but how sir..... isk whole mein ' n' q liya gya ...pls explian sir

      In given ques at right hand side there is term 2^n.... and if in homogenous solution we get a root r =2(same as term given in ques) ....then we multiply f(n) by n .....
      if in homog. Solution roots r=2 repeat two times. then we multiply f( n) by n^2
      and so on.......
      all in all we have to see... is there any term in homogenous solution which is in right side of given ques then we do this thing..
