Shadowflame was the cause for Neltharion/Deathwing's madness? I thought it was the Old God's whispering lies to him and such and driving him to madness... Still could also lead him to ruin and such... Dragonflight is a great expansion...Looking forward too it more and I do hope we get to see a few new leaders for the Dragonflights, and probably two as the same.
Shadowflame is basically void energy mixed with the element of fire, the way i see it is: Neltharion empowered himself with the shadowflame and his mind was corrupted by n'zoth its not one of the other but both things contributed to neltharion becoming deathwing

@@arbenzotaj8342 Last time I check there was only both shadowflame and shadowfrost in the World of Warcraft's Multi-schools of Magic and there's no Shadowearth, no Shadowair, no Shadowwater, not even both Earth and Water, maybe they haven't added those Magic schools yet.
Yes, and both were the most powerful villains we ever faced. Arthas Lich King marched allover Azeroth killing tons of Heros single handidly and Deathwing was a pure Nightmare.

They lost me when Wration said that he s hearing strange voices. After all of the Old Gods encounters and he defetead N'Zoth, he s still falling and considering voices to be strange. You re saying that blizzard got better at writing, when they actually didnt.
Could be true what you're saying, but I remember reading that the Old Gods' whispers could reach anyone under the right conditions except for the Titans. Neltharion apparently heard whispers LONG before his eventual corruption, and that's the same guy everyone said to be the bravest, strongest, wisest etc.
He can resist it ...but it is in his blood/dna to be evil like his father...he has done a great job resisting so far and I hope he continues to be a Hero for us.
I feel like we've missed out on a bloody obvious alchemy quest to give us potions to dial it the heck back or give brief immunity. Also give these people some anti corrruption snackies from the bfa bug/faceless Assaults.
The quality of these in-game cinematics went up by a lot, between BFA and Shadowlands. The lip sync is almost perfect now and there are less awkward movements now.

neltharion's corruption by shadowflame is similar to arthas' corruption by frostmourne.

Actually Dracthyrs are more of a creation of Neltharion's experiments, humans came much later.
